for martyr you can have whatever weapon you want, doesn't really matter

I would recommend momentum for starting out since it's technically the easiest of the three to keep active on any weapon

But if you really want martyrdom, something like an Eviscerator or Thunder Hammer will serve you nicely

Though, just remember to get Holy Revenant before you go full Martyrdom

The relic that would usually have a cooldown of 45 seconds, you will get back in like, 10-15 seconds if you swing fast enough

It's just that you'll be missing out on a crap load of damage from the other two abilities

But knife + relic is a solid combo
