Well, “busted” is an overstatement, but it sure is a good perk for any Crit builds

And you typically want to build into crits

It's mostly to do with protein intake

And depending on your body fat composition having some carbs in your blood right when you start so you don't have to pull it from visceral fat and start risking a blood sugar crasg

And you have to keep doing it, whether you're trying to lose or gain weight

The reason people who keep trying those two week diets stay fat or scrawny is because your fat cells are like water balloons holding your stored energy

When you first lose weight, all you do is reduce how much fat each fat cell is holding in its storage tank

Foe you to keep the weight off, you have to reduce the total number of fat cells in your body and not just the amount each cell is holding

And that takes weeks to a month minimum for your body to recognize it doesn't need so many and start letting the cell count drop

Muscles are the opposite

If you don't eat when trying to lose weight you just get skinny fat until it comes back, and if you don't when trying to gain your Muscles get overworked with nothing to show for it, and in both cases all you end up doing is damaging your joints more than if you'd stayed on the couch the whole time

It's been a while since I last checked but there are the stagger thresholds, which decide what stagger animation your weapon puts the enemy in. Then there's stagger count, which counts how many times the enemy has been staggered since their animation reset. Good example is that stuns can achieve high stagger counts but they aren't planting enemies, and that you can plant an enemy but it only gives them one stagger count.

NR checks the current stagger count when it lands, then multiplies the bonus by that.

When playing Zealot. What’s the difference between a Ranged Backstab and a Backstab? Is it simply when you lunge with a combat knife heavy hit? I’m comparing Ambuscade and Backstabber.

you can get melee backstab bonus with a talent on our tree

and some weapons can also get backstab themed blessings

it is no specific type of attack, as long as you get the hit while being behind the the back half of the enemy it will count, though for backstab kills, this will need to kill as well

And I’m pretty sure you can’t get cooldown reduction on backstab kills without taking the backstab talent unless using a knife

I also don’t know if ambuscade will make ranged back shots (lol) count for cooldown reduction but it might, worth testing. Ranged crits do count for cooldown reduction so probably

Bolter gets a ton of value from headshots, pretty much never use ADS. The talent where you get reduced recoil and spread on dodge lets you hipfire snipers

Also a throwing knife will cancel the draw animation of bolter letting you instantly fire it

Mk IV has a lot of bases covered. It can be built to 1 shot all elites with a rev, the lights can stun lock small elites and have good ST damage, and the horde clear combo is not far off from being the same as the Mk XV's crowd performance.

Mk XII just shifts over more into the single target, even the horde clear combo on it has good single target. I can see how some Vets would like it since it's lower commitment in a build and offers great performance.

It being able to 1 shot Crushers raw is super convenient.
