its good at generally everything except armor, which isnt a problem when you have options like revolver, bolter, or chastise's armor downgrade paired with crit cdr
it has above average horde clear and decent single target damage, but where it really shines is the special, the parry, which is a special block that has a riposte after someone hits you, which does quite a large amount of damage for how fast it is, and since its a block, you can use both defensively and offensively
you can just play sekiro in the corner with a plague ogryn and take 0 damagee

If you can get the buffs up, Shred will allow for nice BPs yes. iirc you hit 90 or 95% crit chance with everything up, you get crit mods for Flak Unyielding and Cara, and it's a finesse weapon. For non-crit builds you'd want Headtaker since the avg. damage increase will be higher.

While I don't think they should do it, I think it'd be healthier for balance if they added talents/stat nodes that lowered the "100%" threshold for toughness bleedthrough calcs. It'd function the same as overtoughness but wouldn't have an effect vs. shooters and wouldn't amplify already bloated toughness values.

mm, from my games between running meme knife builds and running legitimate ones the movespeed hardly helps. There's natural bottlenecks in movement in missions and you don't need any extra movement speed to catch up unless you're the outlier in a speedrunner group (in which you wouldn't be grabbing plasteel anyways).

On paper, sure. In practice though if you know where stuff is spawning you don't need to explore as much. Even with slower weapons you can grab mats and item spawns, then group up. Main hiccups being if a branching path is effectively backtracking, in which you'd need to get a headstart in advance. Run some private matches and just look at where stuff spawns, trust me it'll be more beneficial than just moving fast.
