Toughness is better tought of as a damage resistance percentage
If you have 100% of your toughness, 100% of that melee attack goes to your toughness
If you have 75% toughness, 75% goes to your toughness 25% of that melee attack goes to your health

Having more toughness means damage dealt to toughness won't be dropping that percentage as much, which is why most classes stack quite a bit of it

It's been a while since I've looked through the code for bleedthrough but intuitively, either way that it occurs, having TDR would reduce toughness damage taken and by proxy reduce bleedthrough.

@zinc talon assault is hipfire, snp is braced. "num_pellets" is the total per shot, "num_min_hits" is the min pellet for each armor type. I don't quite know which variant is which, just check the pellet counts ingame and compare them.

Depends on the variant and can vary between braced and hipfire, not in the 3rd variants case though. Looks like hipfire is more forgiving generally for min pellets which makes sense for how wide the shots are.

min pellets are so goofy though. Like if you got a min pellet of 5 and a total of 7, if you blast 1 guy point-blank you get 7 pellets of damage in that shot, but if you blast 7 different enemies you get 35 pellets of damage in one shot.

Even goofier on Lawby with it's ADS, it has a higher minimum pellet count than total for specificially Unyielding.

15 is very nice due to light attacks doing CC and the heavy being easy to control crazy high damage single target hits
