Depends on the loadout. Judgement offers ranged and melee damage and attack speed for free. It also buffs your dodges. Martyr requires lower health and only buffs the melee damage and attack speed parts, and for full output sacrifices curio blessings. Blazing Piety is pretty passive too but only certain weapons get the benefits.

If I had to guess they would do a combo-able damage AoE (so like activation does a bigger damage AoE on the 2nd/3rd attack, rewarding smth like L1 SA H3) along with an awkward base crowd damage combo. Have the first attack for the damage AoE setup be a sweep, so you get a sweep > damage AoE rotation. Then the rest of the weapon is focused on ST, with different combos being optimal for different armor types.

If you want to get a support weapon for bugs, RR, EAT, and Quasar are solid. For bots AMR, Railgun, Laser Cannon. Each works for the other, and also the Arc Thrower, MGs, and AC work for both. Flamer, Stalwart, and GL are more niche and small enemy focused.
