We have a blessing guide w/ general stuff. I personally recommend Rampage + anything but Momentum, BL, and Perfect Strike. Each item has its own niche, Bloodthirsty w/ Crusher 1 shot chaining and Shred for extra damage.
If you're looking for aggression smth with Duellist (This is why Shred gets you extra damage), Second Wind, and TWBS will hit that. Alt could do Martyr w/ BFTE for health tanking via wound stacking. Judgement works, crit CDR is ok but better suited for the Mk II.

melees are generally weighted more towards breakpoints but there are some exceptions

you're not once ever going to get a realistic breakpoint measurement on most melee enemies for a crusher because of how it works. skullcrusher is a variable damage boost, ie if you measure raw DPS vs one rager you ignore the fact you fight multiple in melee, so you might get 2 hits off on a rager before target swapping. then when you go back to hit it skullcrusher isn't active on the first swing

because you're often in the middle of a combo when you finish a guy off you might start with a "suboptimal" move for the sake of raw dps which slightly lessons the relevancy of BP testing, too
on crushers/maulers the sequence of hits is so long unless you're doing like activated chastise BP testing, in which case u can but i don't think that's relevant enough to matter
