Nah sometimes the darktide crosshairs move seperately with recoil or weapon sway. They aren't always correct

I know that it exists but like, it's mostly superficial deviances between shots that'll misguide you if you aim between shots w/ it. High firerate weapons you just aim w/ crosshair and bullets and slower stuff you just keep an eye on where the center of your screen is and where the crosshair was when you aim.

elites are eh since most of them are unarmored or flak and thus fall under the purview of the other perk or just raw dmg (i am not taking unarmored damage willingly). unyielding are all monstrosities, reapers and bulwarks. maniacs are many to count but i don't think i worry all that much i'm not gonna be able to kill them swiftly enough

Hi! So I was watching a youtube video on weapon tiers and that guy said the Columnus Autogun was the best gun in-game.
So I swapped my near God rolled Braced Autogun for an equally near god rolled Columnus Autogun and jumped into a game with my Zealot.
Woth 1200 hours on the game I've never really used the non-braced Autoguns. They got low ammo capacity and I'd prefer a more handy gun like autopistol if I didn't feel I need my braced guns' 78 shots per reload.
The first thing that annoyed me was that the gun rears up if you shoot aimed and only shoots smooghly from the hip, but then it doesn't have a decent sight.
How is this considered S tier??? Sure the damage is a bit less dropping off with distance but also hip firing won't reliably hit things that far away anyway.
Did the guy use mods? I don't use mods. None. Not how I roll.
Suffice to say I swapped back agan in my loadout.
So what do you all think? Are the non-braced Autoguns good or not? Am I missing a trick to using them?
