I dropped "Shield of Contempt" and "Bleed for the Emperor" from my old martyrdom build and that let me take the crit talents in the top right of the tree and let me reach "invocation of Death" in the bottom left. Its definitely squishier than my old build, but its also kinda fun. Its got much better dps now because i can get my cooldowns back fast like my crit dagger blazing piety build, while also having martyrdom. I've been playing it a lot tonight and its good.
I do have to play a bit more careful since it doesn't have alot of tough regen. but if i feel like i need it i can bring a XV Eviscerator with momentum if i want. but i find i can typically get away with going without it.

You need to hit the last block in the charge. So like. . . 90% charge? I've never bothered to actually look at exactly how its separated in the charge bar. But you only need to reach the last one and its 2 to the leg to strip armor, and 4 to the head to outright kill it.
As an aside: I find it easier and more reliable to just go for the headshots because its big and chunky while the legs are far more mobile and cause misses due to the new required charge time

sigh I somehow beat the dragon boss in Enter the Gungeon, this run, despite only having 2 hp left. I had 3 blanks, so I used them early and made it to the last phase without getting hit. First is unrevved cleave values, second is revved cleave values.
The damage profiles themselves remain the same, so it's still capped at 4 targets damaged at unrevved, and 6 with rev.
