There's literally nothing stopping them from getting changes. Both Poxwalkers and Groaners can be changed into stuff balanced with eachother, rn it's just Poxwalkers are better. If Bruisers were changed into something outside of just being the stronger fodder enemy Groaners and Poxwalkers wouldn't need much to be unique between eachother. Like surface level idea is just make Poxwalkers and Groaners hit the same amount, Poxwalkers have the same stats but higher hitmass and an added corruption damage, Groaners can spawn with light shields.
They're the most basic enemy type in the game and that's shouldn't change much imo, but like it's not that hard to give them smth.
