The mission areas are small and they shove like 8 PoI's in the map minimum so you can just grab them. On T1 and 2 you can reliably find them in a ring ~100 meters away from the edge of the map.

EATs, Recoilless Rifle, Spear (kinda meant for bigger stuff since you only get 4 rockets). Railgun can open the legs, gotta use unsafe though. 2-4 shots depending on how high you charge it. Flamethrower and Arc Thrower can kill Chargers through their armor, with Flamer aim a bit lower and Arc Thrower hit their head. A good number of stratagems kill them, anything that looks explosive will damage them, Airstrike, 500kg, Rocket Pods, Orbital Strike, etc.
Then, there's some tech with Charger legs. If you run at them and just barely dodge while they are charging, if they don't hit anything they'll skid to slow down. During this and for a small bit after, the legs have a 0 AV, anything can do full damage to them. Shotguns, Explosive Weapons, anything with good DPS will do it in one cycle if you get good hits.
