which isn't really a dodge, I call it evasion, but as long as you are at an angle and sprinting, gunfire won't hit you, swift certainity just makes this work at 0 stam as well

as someone who is this discord's resident chain axe addict since launch, mk4 is so much better in terms of performance even if it still has it's clunky parts. Oh and all chain weapons you can dodge out of rev'd attacks, it costs stam, but can also be used at 0 stam, just in case tool

stop using gimped weps and get yourself a graia or columnus (either 2 or 5, but rolling 5 is hard)

brauto takes longer to wield than the autopistol, so dealing with a sudden trapper with almost no warning... sometimes isn't possible with that brauto

XV has simpler playstyle, better single-target, limited cleave

II is a little more complex, better (and less limited) cleave, slightly worse single-target

XV is one of the best beginner weapons imo

the light attack does minimum stagger, the special attack can't stagger enemies in the initial hit, and the special attack can be interrupted by the boss's shield burst, and so on

The shield burst is not a big issue, but the Mk XV already has a very limited enemy cap, and not being able to stagger enemies can be fatal if you want to engage enemies at close range.

last i used it earlier in the week it stumbled none elites fine, and stumbled elites on heavies/push attack

and the initial hit can't stagger elites just forces you to cancel your special attack if you didn't hit elites fast enough

I mean the special attack's first hit, MK II can immediately stagger Crushers and Maulers, Mk XV can't.

also, MK XV's heavy attack is too slow. they probably want to change it.

it's fine for MK II because it's a horizontal sweep, but for a vertical strike, this is just bad.

You basically will never use the second heavy attack because of how slow it is.
