it’s just in a strange place rn, it’s like psyker obscurus. It’s got half the single target of mk3 and a fraction of the horde clear of other zealot melees, and isn’t really proficient in either

It's got a different ST profile, it can get hits out a touch bit faster, though each hit is slightly worse for damage. The main thing holding the weapon back is that all of the good ST combos have to chain into at least H2 at some point.
The PA is also slightly more friendly for usage, as it's a stab.

so say you have a weapon that does 100 damage, and has 1.0 finesse (100% bonus), it would do 200 on a headshot
if you got 25% bonu weakspot or finesse, it would only apply to the weakspot portion, bringing the total to 225 instead of 250

if you see a psyker they WILL have assail, if you see an ogryn they most likely have kickback, most zealots are running revolver with handcannon

But you could do any number of things to swap out that revolver for something else, in that case it's just preference. AS a Zealot main I use a bolter and an eviscerator and I play accordingly. It's still very effective, it's just not that backstab vanguard stuff.

BM, Deathblow (both can just be base weapon mechanics and balanced around that, like cleave instead of x targets). Power Blessings in general, Plasma Gun just a tad, Columnus IAG even smaller of a tad, Rending sources, Chainsword in general, Mk IV Chaxe just a tad, not a nerf but the force swords need rebalancing w/ eachother, Voidstrike, Mk III HH Autogun and/or a IX buff, and Duelling Swords, all imo of course as I'm sure someone would rip me apart for something I've said. This is only for human classes, I don't play Ogryn anymore. Talents would be a list at least 4x larger.
