i didn't think a ranged weapon would change anything, and I wanted to keep close to the enemy
since if I just run away from them, it'd just outdistance their attack completely rather than being a dodge
and the tracking is annoying so i tried to run at what i felt to be a good angle
the last crusher hammer smack is nice since it has a nice top view of where my zealot was and the hammer when it hits, which is roughly the same distance of where you can spot-dodge the hammer as shown in the stationary dodge video
and if it did give a melee dodge, I would've dodged it

Last I read having a range weapon, auspex etc changes the toughness modifier based off class so the logic is there for it to. Hence why zealots in a slide have a 0 toughness modifier 0.5 in a sprint

Ideally you combo it so you aren't just wasting time with the punch. You can punch before an attack fully finishes allowing for some nice combos. Also PA's on both are still busted as shit for ST for no reason.
With the VI there's a more natural H2 H3 SA chain but it loses out on the Mk III's L3 and also just has less per-hit damage compared to the III.

Slaught + HT on the XII is fine for use since it leans into the base attacks more, which are really potent.
Thrust will guarantee a 1 shot on all elites which can be interesting.
But it's not required for said 1 shots, can hit it without Thrust.
