Highly varies in effectiveness from game to game. Sometimes its an absolute godsend being able to completely clear all corruption and fully heal everyone in the strike team. Other times it doesnt do anything that a normal medkit or ammo crate cant. Due to this its hard to directly rate how well this talent will perform. Generally however its a nice talent to have.

Chocobs pretty good. The Agri shotgun isn't what I'd choose and I'd do maniac over carapace on the crusher unless it's the melee only maelstrom, but the build seems alright. Very defensive and I'm not sure the talent path for extra wounds and damage cdr is really worth it. Could probably get some utility out of spending those points elsewhere. But if you do find you want the wounds then it's a good way of getting them without having to use curio slots on it.

I mean more a weapon for a build. Something to try out after you are proficient with the game and have figured out what works and doesn't. Then you want to try a specific weapon and blessing combo out with some new set of talents. Now to get that weapon you might have to drop a lot of resources to get, and it's very rare that the shop will give you something that's going to work for it.

There isn't a hard coded standard for all strikedowns and vanguards and the like. Its what makes the games feel different than others. Where your weapon swings actually matters

Hey I’ve got some super new guy questions that I’m just not understanding and need broken down just a little more.
Brain automatically wants to use a weapon that says higher damage but on higher tiered weapon sometimes the damage is lower. What is the thought process in choosing a weapon in that regard? Always choose the higher tier?
Second question is the stat bars. Understanding what the percentages relate to? Is that just a percentage increase. For example the picture Trauma posted above it says “damage 80%” is that an %80 percent damage increase buff of the 56/149 damage stat?

The best way to find out how your weapon is affected by the stat bars is by inspecting and hovering over the bar, that'll give you a breakdown of what it does and is helpful for self-determining since there are many cases of weapons being affected differently by the same stat in one way or another. As for the higher tiered thing, tier doesn't mean a ton unless the perks/blessings from the upgrades actually make the weapon better.
In the pins you can find the community's mostly-agreed optimal blessings and perks, though of course there are deviations that work
If you give me an example of the weapons you're talking about I could maybe tell you if it's worth?

Wave clear, shorter self-stun, being able to deal with mixed hordes easier by hitting both trash and specials at the same time (as well as the self-stun thing)
Less activated special damage means you have to work for a couple of breakpoints and you'll do less boss damage, but I find it pretty good

A rookie to the game like me takes one Quick Look and chooses the higher attack power. But that’s a lower rating and damage % so that’s the relationship I’m trying to understand

If you want to spec for perks on hammers id recommend at least one of them being Unyielding. The other can be whichever you want. I think mine is Flak just cuz thats what Hadron gave me

Dont know if its been mentioned, but it is worth waiting to really invest in a weapon until your character is lv 30. Im leveling my psyker rn an all ive done is add in +flak damage perks on blue tier weapons

I recently actually tried to see how well veteran auras would translate into actual weapon stats.
5% actual damage was around 12 points of damage modifer on weapons.
While something like 5% movement speed was equal to 55 points of mobility in relation to sprint speed.
It mainly shows that actual talents give way more mobility then the modifers on weapons do.
