You can check to see what that stat does specifically. It usually means it's a Finesse weapon. Generally people here consider crit build (more specifically the usage of Blazing Piety) to be revolving around crit CDR which requires a high cleave weapon. Taxe isn't good at it in that regard.
Because of how Zealot is constructed, you will be getting more damage leaning into the raw damage side with just about every weapon. Obv there's some nuance. You could improve your build, which I think is the intent. If you really like the vibe of the build you're setting up, stick with it. If you're finding that it's lacking, try some ideas people are giving you.

If you want my 2 cents you should probs do fire grenade, Shroudfield, and Martyrdom. Covers weaknesses. The usual blessings and perks for both weapons. Martyr will push your damage further than Blazing Piety will, and it allows for an easier time with hordes since you meet BPs with more stacks of Martyr. Regardless of what Keystone you use Duellist will boost your damage a good amount as well.

when doing twins, the moment they stun after shields are down is the only time you get to damage. dont try to get revs in while they are mobile. for shields, gun guy goes down with revs without chastice, for sword girl I dump a full clip of this brauto and shield goes down with close range talent
after shield goes down one solid full thrust heavy with chastice during rev gets you to gas phase

I just realized something, while wounds don't increase your hp, with bleed for the emperor, the more wounds you have, the more hp fills each wound bar, which means, more times it procs, which means more effective hp due to dr
For example in these screenshots I'll use, until death, holy revenant, restoring faith against small trash enemies
test 1, all 3 wound curios, with 2 +5% hp perks
test 2, 2 wound curios, with 1 full health curio, and 3 +5% hp perks
test 3, better result of test 2
This is interesting because, even with the increase hp curio and extra hp perk, even though I end upm with more hp from holy revenant, just losing that one wound, causes it to fill up less than less hp with 3 wounds extra

I've been using Chaxe for a good while now. Bloodletter is just kinda eh. I don't even see much reasoning in that video as to why Bloodletter is a good pick, just Headtaker. Seems like a thing he picked out of preference going off of the data shown, where the only two non-bloodletter listings were Slaught/Thrust and Thrust/Rev it up.
