sunder lets you cleave carapace and quadruples the amount you can cleave while being multiplicative with +cleave cuz it's technically hitmass reduction, so into high armor density it lets you hit an insane amount of stuff

I've played quite a lot of power sabre so far in H40, honestly the ONLY thing I feel is bad about it is its somewhat lacking maniac stagger (but then it's irrelevant when I just kill them in a few shots with bolter or whatever), but that's it. It's more or less a more mobile but less dps Power Sword imo.

You don't need out for blood so that'll get you the point you need for exploit weakness, but while we're at it you should also change get back in the fight to field improv and switch 6 stacks of focus target for one of the other keystone modifiers

Duelling sword doesn't need trench fighter either so that frees up another point, but at the same time you prob want a melee that's good at horde clear

the regular las rifle is not a bad weapon if you wanna try with that, you can master that thing up, and have a good starter

Regular lasgun is a solid option with excellent per-shot damage. The infantry autogun (I use the Agripinaa MK1) is a shockingly effective weapon.
As for melee, the devil's claw swords are also a good pick.

For melee, combat axe (with brutal momentum) is a good all-rounder

For ranged, if you're not too confident in your ability to snipe specials just yet then columnus VIII infantry autogun and accatran VIc reconare full auto and pretty controllable even at range
