Rot shield are more engaging in the sense that everything can open them and they are not spammed almost treated like a special. Plus they can be actual threats unlike DT bulwark that just blocks and blocks and blocks by getting stagger reset by the shotgunners behind him. One of the main problems with bulwarks is that their ambiance spawn seed is often linked to spawn with a shotgunner

Yeah I suppose that works. But then, that would work in any situation. You know Mission of Mercy? The 1st dwarf hold level? That mid-level event spawns stormvermin by the literal dozens. If you're not packing something that can kill em quick you are royally screwed. I once spent a full 10 minutes clearing them out as Warrior Priest and last man standing because the hammers are really not good against shield stormvermin.

and arbites is strong as shit while leaving 2 classes who need buffs (imo) alone

Veteran specialty is a gunner support, he can hunt specialists quite effectively due its ammo efficiency and a few of its best guns help on sniper work, with the likes of bolter or Helbore
But it's best tools (survivalist aura, shout with gold toughness and general ammo efficiency in lasweapons) are supportive for a team
bottom can be whatever but this is the generally accepted talent spread
usually you go down bottom right for weapon specialist and melee buffs, bottom left for more ranged buffs and superiority complex
also since we were talking about the keystones another thing worth bringing up is how they demand a lot more point investment to reach them when compared to ogryn or arbites
WS keystone is really strong as an all around for the class

some people take field improv instead of duck and dive for some extra utility
Field improv is Def a good perk to consider taking, helps a lot in some scenarios when you loot those resource boxes

One of the main gimmicks is that push attack on both marks have the same profile as mk6s heavy 1 and 2
But mk6s push attack is 10% faster

Considering cleave and hitbox of attacks; you spam first 3 light attacks then push att to reset to the first light att pattern & repeat; you have CC, cleave & dmg in 1 combo that is ez to execute & maintain
Not to mention it is fluid between single target combos and the final light att being the stab does alot of dmg if you have a mixed horde and direct that attack towards the big bad mf in the crowd

yeah. only reason to do a wound-focused build is martyrdom zealot. my theory is that newer players think that wounds are a form of health
