Whole squad died and I was solo. Ragertide happened during a horde. I backed up over a staircase and everything bugged out and stopped to stare at me

They just suddenly stopped chasing and attacking

I thought I dc'd but the group continued chatting about the weird bug while I cleared it up ezpz

It happened on one of the Carnival maps

Not really, it's really just about the skill, some people can win auric even with the most shit build and gear imaginable so....yeah

you just need to kill faster and take less damage than lower difficulty because there are more spawns so basically do what you're already doing, but faster and more safely

Best way to learn playing a vet is to play infantry lasgun and knife build, worked with me

if ogryn was your first lv30, you'll have to sort of re-learn what the smaller characters can and can't get away with (e.g. you may not have enough stagger to bully rager/mauler/crusher packs). it also depends on what difficulty you were playing your ogryn on (e.g. if you're already familiar with aurics on ogryn, then the gap is gonna be less)

I was mildly joking but it's clunky as fuck, the ttk is super bad compared to most other weapons when there's more than one target, worst Iron sights in the game (I know, Mods etc. But recommending a weapon that you need a mod for to actually see is meh).
Imo it's antithetical to what the game is about. A Mass of enemies rushing you that you dispose of with the endless resource aka melee and key threats that you eliminate with your ranked weapon of choice.

it's sufficiently different from infantry las in how it operates but the draw time just kind of kills it

upside: it is funny with things like agile engagement and the special stops ragers in their tracks (and kills them rather effectively)

the combat axe special attacks are essentially high stagger pokes, think of them as a CC option.

it's a way to do things like stagger ragers, it's not quite as effective as the same style of special on other weapons though due to the attack speed being a bit lower
