In fact it’s the opposite, the original bolter was made for squishy rebels and xenos
right, hence better than all of our other guns, which are also designed for that
bulkiness is the only real feasible balance to it in the hands of a human

u basically end up taking very little damage
Veteran could earn toughness on a weapon and spread it to teammates
interesting
the born leader skill distributes the toughness u earn with teammates as well, combined with confirmed kill and maybe exhilarating takedown u get a lot of toughness regen going
The idea is that you play Veteran and you take the skills that keep your team full on toughness
You can still shoot and slash stuff as standard vet
But keeping them alive lets them do more dangerous stuff

so for diversity sake they HAD to use prototype and concept

i also like to think that i was partially responsible to the rise of popularity of the M1903 prototype
it was the sniper rifle with the gadget that swiched the caliber to a sub caliber that was shot semi auto by the switch of the bolt
because the gun at first was RISIBLE weak, like water gun level of weak , it was a joke
then, in one of the update they HIGHLY increased it effectiveness, but that part was not talked much in the news
faster rpm, higher damage, it was FINALLY viable
and ironically i decided to work on the sniper class at THAT moment, of all time. which was perfect
so, semi for CQB and when people sneaked behind me, and bolt action for sniping
since it used the iron sight i didn't had the flare of the scope, so people could not spot me
it made that gun OP in some game for that

(And considering that it's like freaking Carapace, Scion gear, she's got some real good connections.)

Traitor's Curse cinematic and the intro/original trailer all feature the 21st
The Inquisition was operating in the dark when the Mourningstar arrived and sent 21st Recon teams into the city to figure out what happened. If PDF were alive they were in no position to tell them what happened to Atoma or provide any support
when you call the pdf but they got converted to docx and are now horribly mangled
The 21st are also who pop out of dropships as we leave maps and are the ones posing with tanks and lasguns at the beginning of some levels

Players would absolutely take full blown advantage of that

They'd probably have to have a system where it doesn't immediately kill from doing that if it was PVP

Pretty much need brutal momentum on Axes tbh
Lawbringer is pretty solid for dealing with specials and elites already but if you put Manstopper/Scattershot on it and then get a bit of damage from either Marksman's Focus or from orange buffs you can use the special wide horizontal shot to make entire hordes of poxwalkers evaporate in a single shot

Base rating is the total score of all the modifiers. So that Rashad you linked is a 322 weapon. The maximum is 380. I'd consider anything over 350 to be a high rating weapon. Personally I have so many weapons at this point that I don't use anything under 370
The total rating of a weapon goes up to 550 and includes your blessing and perk scores. This rating is less meaningful than the base rating
Cuz you can have a T1 blessing that is 95% as good as a T4 blessing but you "lose" like 50 rating points
But 50 base rating is a huge difference in weapon performance

Not all weapons need perfect stats to like function
Plasma gun is one of the weapons that needs perfect stats, iirc same as the ilas 12

MG12 even on perfect stats doesn’t hit 1 taps without specific stuff
Plasma might need perfect stats to hit all BPs but you could use an absolute gutter dwelling plasma gun and obliterate with it, it's just a good weapon
Rashad is actually pretty bad if it's not built right, but a perfect one is one of the best melees in the game

Different weapons need different stats. Generally you want to max everything and dump mobility down to 51%
Damage and first target damage are usually the most important stats, followed by penetration and finesse
I don't use shovel much. I'd probably choose the 374 cuz all the damage stats are above 70. The other's 49% pen feels too low
Defence is usually a dump stat too, alongside mobility
374 Penetration is a damage modifier too
If it doesn't then go use the M1a and headtap the heretics

Talent in bottom right tree that gives 2.5% brittleness to a target up to a max of 16 stacks or 40% total. It can only apply to one target at a time but it drops Crushers and Maulers into being baby mode
It's a bit of a talent tax to get it though

Damage wasn't buffed but mag size and fire rate jumped so it's even more fun magdumping into a squad of Crushers
It's extra funny if you commit to Weapon Specialist and use the extra ranged attack speed on swap to make the fastest fire rate in the game even faster

I had a really funny Maelstrom run recently with a Double Barrel Shotgun Vet, Staff Smiteker and Shieldgryn. It was nice being able to eat most of the ammo on the map and just shoot everything I wanted to
it seems to me though that there is little reason to use anything but 6d
It has same dps, but way better against hordes
And feels easier to headshot with
Mk II has the best ammo economy by far. If you lean into your ranged weapon a lot and often find yourself orange or red on a VIIa or VId, you should know you would probably be able to do the same thing on the II but still be yellow on ammo at the same point in a match
If you lean primarily into melee combat then you'll barely notice the difference in ammo economy

Shooters tend to be very weak and easy to kill. Exe Stance is a bit overkill for clearing them tbh. Counterfire is mainly for the synergy with Relentless to maintain uptime through fights but Aurics have always felt like the constant stream of elites and specials are more than enough to keep it going when you need it active

Dum Dum is generally better damage vs most targets. Infernus is ok but outclassed at most ranges after close range damage was redefined to be 100% damage up to 12.5m instead of 8m and now goes up to 40-ishm instead of 30m. The majority of ranges you fight at will have Dum Dum doing more damage. Toward the further end Infernus catches up and then outpaces it but fights at those extreme ranges are rare and tend to be against targets like Snipers who are already easy to kill or against distant Gunners/Reapers who will be advancing toward you anyway

Infernus is REALLY fun
It's not bad
And it is very satisfying to light a target on fire and "feel" they will die so you stop shooting and 1-2 seconds later they burn to death while you have moved on to the next target
Sometimes you get a short burst into a Pox Hound as it runs around a corner and even though it survives the shots it burns to death before it can circle back around
it most cases they will be killed by your team
so effort is wasted

Iirc the ai director is smart and tracks progress/kills/HP during a mission against the mission timer. If a team is doing particularly well it amps up the nonsense until the team stops doing particularly well. And that usually means overwhelming a team to the point of either causing a wipe or killing some of the squad

And I’ve been swapping between VOC and Invis
I remember the Helbore Mk II has important breakpoints to meet for Dreg Gunner and both Flamers that usually requires both Maniac and Unarmoured perks to work. But you can set up the tree to hit both breakpoints and then grab Carapace for a perk instead. Then you can drop the number of shots per Crusher from 5-7+ down to 2-4 shots depending on stats, Exe Stance or other ability and what orange buffs you pick (Marksman, For the Emperor, Close Quarters Kill Zone)
It ends up really goofy and you can even reach a 1HKO breakpoint against Crushers if you run that build and find a combat stim iirc
The 1HKO only lasts for the 5 sec of For the Emperor though
The non-Exe Stance build I run uses Agile Engagement and bayonet stabs to help hit breakpoints
Because Infiltrate and Low Profile are just too fun

There are no crazy spikes. Set dmg to toughness only. Set dmg to health, i honestly don't see them being inconsistent. They are weak alone, and strong in packs
