when it comes to survival though, the focus is generally on avoiding hits, with toughness (armor) and damage reduction being safety nets. you'll want to learn how to incorporate dodging into your gameplay and how to respond to sound cues

manstopper allows you to hot swap, shoot in the direction of the special through the horde, and just pen through it all and kill/stagger it

without manstopper its a gamble if you pen enough, or the horde eats it all. and at best you will stagger, but do very little dmg through the horde (considering its a dense one)

Whereas mk2 Laspistol doesn’t have this problem and u can just crit click head and it will die in 3~4 shots (with much higher firerate)
