I even used the extra funny Psykanium Warrior tree for max DPS on the Mk II Recon and the best I could juice it to on a Crusher was 2633 DPS

I recorded the Mk VIIa! It performed better than the Mk II on the Crusher test. It was still 300 DPS short compared to the Mk VId and the TTK is noticeably shorter

Quickplay squads fall apart when a pack of 6 Crushers in front walks in and then another pack of 6 more Crushers suddenly appears from behind
If you can't kill them fast enough the other specials/elites will quickly overwhelm the quickplay squad
Even if you defeat the Crushers in the end, you may find yourself alone

You can clear the junk and only focus on the Crusher(s) afterwards

Crushers have a basically un-stagger-able atk (sweep) that breaks all ur stamina if u try to do the PA spam
Statistically speaking, only way a Krak nade would be better off than a Frag one is only in Shocktrooper gauntlets where you need to delete the big bois ASAP

Bolt-type explosions are now always the same size, no matter if they hit or kill.
Added additional damage to the explosion when killing an enemy.
Removed the VFX explosion effect on close range hits where the bolt does not have time to prime the explosive package.
Helbores are very nice
Helbore Mk I has the easiest breakpoints to hit and is the easiest to roll
Helbore Mk II has the trickiest breakpoints to hit and is the hardest to roll but in my opinion is the most satisfying of the three
Helbore Mk III can be built for Crusher 1HKO memes if you want to go that far
Helbore Mk I and Mk II have the satisfying and speedy bayonet thrust
Mk III has the slow awkward bayonet diagonal swing

Very heavy suppression effect
It's worth getting the talent for suppression immunity imo
Even with Deadshot and Exe Stance the suppression can be very oppressive
Grab Determined and just be immune
I would also recommend getting at least one of the reload speed talents
The reload is just fast enough by default to keep Exe Stance refreshed but only just barely. Getting even one reload speed talent helps that immensely
If you don't use Exe Stance with it then you can care a lot less about the slow reload speed

I think surgical paired with the 4 stacks of bleed will be the meta for this gun. I run a crit bleed knife build usually on my vet and zealot. Bleed really helps with management. You also get shredder grenades for more bleed.

1 frag is for crowd control
2 is for killing
I just use them to stagger out of a bind, which isn't common enough to need the regen points
2 frags stack enough bleed that it will kill everything short of a mauler and ogryns

My melee weapon like chain sword or chain axe canāt kill that fast against crusher with on rev teeth. And I shit know you going say rashad axe cuz that again meta.

Shredders are also for killing if you pair this with a crit bleed knife and the bolt gun with bleed. You can get like 8 stacks of bleed or something nutty like that very quickly via stacking all this.

It's frankly not a terrible choice but you are passing up damage of some kind to do it
So unlike zealot you don't need to stack toughness as high
Itās mostly because >200 health with 20% sniper resist gives u 2 major breakpoints that help a lot when shit goes south
U can take 2 burster/sniper hits and not go down from full health
And if youāre downed & revived (1 wound remaining), u donāt die instantly from sniper/burster
Burster is 100 total dmg regardless of ur position from blast center

So just got lethal proximity on the bolt pistol and it days "near shots also cause an explosion in addition the explosion radius is increased by 25%" and its true that near shots do stagger enemies but it does zero dmg is this working how its supposed to or

Just don't compare it to them then. Or just use those instead. The Boltpistol is surprisingly fun and I was killing specials/elites faster than my team on the Exe Stance build I use with my Boltgun. The shorter reload speed compared to the Boltgun more than makes up for the smaller clip size and helps for keeping Exe Stance duration going even without any reload talents
The only real issue I find with bolt pistol is its sight sucks

Like the heavier ones tend to need quite a few hits and one-shotting a lot of specials/elites can be pretty difficult without the right modifiers.

It's an audio bug with the game afaik. The game just can't keep up with all the sound queues coming in simultaneously and sometimes just skips important ones. No matter how good your audio setup is on your computer you can't fix a problem in the game
Yeah visual audio ques are huge QOL upgrades for this game along with the healthbars. Is it kinda cheaty? I guess so, but I'm also trying to kite around like 8 crushers and get to know what their bleeds are this way

The only cheaty one I use is the Healthbars mainly to relay if Iām actually helping out at all, I wonāt use the visual ones feel like itās too much

There are lots of mods that give you crazy amounts of info and I think they make the game objectively easier. Knowing number of dodges, being able to see number of dot stacks, seeing through walls at all times for specials/elites, etc. are sorta beyond accessibility mods for people with irl disability and edge into funny cheat code territory. It's a PvE co-op shooter so like do as you like but it's like training wheels in Aurics

Only use scopes if Iām actually snipping with it, ironically enough I use the most jank fucking irons for my HHA
No judgement but at a certain point all the mods giving you all these QoL changes end up being the equivalent of bowling bumper walls to try to keep you from falling in the gutter
But yeah I used irons basically exclusively with the zarona for like a year straight and now its just hey my game looks a little more interesting and less boring since we don't really get updates and I'm not paying for cosmetics
If you have more fun with the mods giving that info and changing the game then it makes the game a better and more fun experience for you and that's all that really matters
as long as you don'tr try to gatekeep "skill" or smth while using mods that make the game objectively easier

My first run on it was an auric 4 histg it was wild
The new mission is so fun for the big open final area
The multiple doors for enemies to filter through is really funny and I'm already seeing Psykers cling to the little staircase by the control panel for safety while poxwalkers climb up the stairs from behind without walking up them at all

this new map actually requires far more teamwork than other maps imo
i find a relatively safe spot to be up on the ladder platform where you need to press in two battery things. can stand in either corner and watch as the enemies climb one of three sides andcover all in a single field of view
and if you have a wide swinging weapon.... its free

The trick is just getting up it in the chaos. I did notice a Psyker scurry up the ladder while I was mulching hordes with my chainsword though so they probably were pretty safe up there

Significantly buffed the damage of the Mk II and Mk VIIa. Improved the ADM profile against Maniac for all Recons. Improved reserve ammo on the Mk VIIa. Improved the magazine size and rate of fire of the Mk VId. They also nerfed the ADM profile of the Mk II and Mk VIIa against Flak/Unyielding at near distance. Recon Mk VId got a slower reload/swap speed but from what I saw the nerf is marginal compared to the significant increases to damage across the board

The Mk VIIa was always better for a more standard build. The Mk VId only surpasses their sisters when paired with Onslaught, Rending Strikes and Deadshot for a funny combo
If you play the clown way the others fall behind
But if you play like a normal person the other two are better
They're all pretty solid guns regardless though and now you can pretty solidly say the worst weapon in the game is the Shredder Autopistol. The Recons are nowhere close to the performance of that weapon anymore
Columnus Infantry Autogun got a tiny nerf tap to crit strings but otherwise is probably still in the top three meta weapons list

not so sure the boltpistol/double barrel can sway me from my old laspistol/lasgun ways
