I'd recommend trying to get it with the Infiltrate ability. Get Low Profile in the talent node under it too. That way you've got 10 full seconds of stealth and then another 10 seconds after stealth of -90% threat. As long as you're close to a team mate enemies will ignore you. You can continue to fight alongside the team shooting into enemies and watch them walk by. Grab the Overwatch talent too for an extra charge. If you've got the spare plasteel put +4% combat ability regen as perks on all your curios. Get an ability CD stim ASAP in a mission and chain stealth/low profile threat reduction when things get too spicy. Stay close to the team and remember that it only counts HP damage, not toughness damage. So if you get bonked hit Infiltrate and your toughness restores to full

If you're usually in melee and only ever swap to your revolver to kill specials/elites then Always Prepared is a very good talent to have
Your gun will never be empty when you swap to it to kill a high priority target
You could combo it really well with Agile Engagement and have a constant +25% damage for melee and for ranged
if someone is good at juggling buffs the combo is very strong

Yeah Surgical is giving a stacking +10% crit chance per 0.33 seconds while aiming so if you spend even a single second aiming you're already at 30% crit from Surgical alone
Crucian isn't worthless, just outclassed by Surgical. If you don't have the option to swap Crucian to Surgical, it is still totally serviceable
Not like Terrifying Barrage, Efficiency or Falter on other guns where having it means the gun is bricked LOL
