Plasma has no pullout and tbh it's fine since you need to swap melee more often with it. Helbore I and II have bayonets to clear chaff, stagger ragers and kill them ezpz, kill hounds in 1 hit, quick thrusting down for muties and is a very dependable and strong melee option

Mk III suffers tho

Besides a Mk II is going to clear a room of both elite and non-elite shooters and be fine in ammo count even without shock trooper but if you do that consistently with plasma you'll be hunting for ammo packs and tins a LOT more

Kiiiinda. Revolvers are one of the weapons that took a big ammo econ hit with the update's Surv Aura nerf. It isn't a big deal though and it just means a Revolver user will have to grab tins, or if they're using it to take out rooms of non-elite shooters, tins AND packs to keep from going dry. Meanwhile Helbores are basically untouched by the Surv Aura change and maintain the best ammo efficiency in the game through Shock Trooper. Even without Shock Trooper they're still very strong on ammo economy

A very good stat roll. Definitely do Sustained to Surgical. With a perfect 80% charge rate you are ok to skip out on Weight of Fire. Less DPS for longer engagements but it's not going to be a big deal with that Stat. Swap Sprint to Maniac if you want the 1HKO Flamer breakpoint or to Unarmoured if you want the 1HKO Dreg Gunner breakpoint

The gun will perform well

Personally I'd do Unarmoured since I place more value on killing rows of Gunners faster but either Maniac or Unarmoured is fine and up to preference

Could also do Carapace if you want to embrace my clown hours of getting 2HKOs on Crushers

1HKO Crusher is technically possible with the Helbore Mk II but not something realistically achieveable in matches unless the stars align

The tl;dr is between Marksman (+20% power after ability use) and Executioner's Stance it can quite comfortably meet the Crusher 2HKO breakpoint when you grab +Carapace damage on a Mk II Helbore with 80% Damage/80% Stopping Power

yeah i think (but am not 100% sure) that spamming shots from 0 is more DPS thanks to blaze away, but you only need the DPS on monstrosities or dense packs of armored units

for lower pressure situations, being at high heat for more crits is probably better because you're not chaining shots one after another, you're picking off gunners and specialists here and there

I tend to run Focus Target with the Target Down node for increased Stam and Toughness regen on kills. It's mostly for the better Stam efficiency because I am a Stamina fiend and run Deadshot on almost every build I do with three Stam curios for a total +9 Stam (+10 with the extra +1 Stam under Confirmed Kill)

with flak maniac you can one shot body shot both flamers, which is very useful in high pressure situations, but unyielding is also good

I think Marksman's Focus is really good too tbh

I'm just a Deadshot clown chasing stamina so Focus Target + Target Down benefits my overall build more

Especially after Tunnel Vision got buffed and the durations across the board for Marksman's Focus got buffed too
