I've found Marksmans focus kinda slaps with the Combat Shotguns? At least in the Psykhanium. It buffs their already good damage and buffs both attack speed and reload speed. The spread also makes it slightly easier to land Headshot kills and those kills can be achieved further away with less pellets because of the increased damage. I was super surprised how well it worked. Have yet to try it in a real match but the potential is there.

Shieldgryn also gets double the regen from talents and can have a larger coherency radius.

(Assuming you spec into that)

Obviously that's contingent on not getting hit in melee but if you're in melee your toughness is pretty much at 100% permanently anyway because you're likely doing heavies into crowds.

Gunner resistance I feel more. But my buddy tells me all the time how important positioning is. So I figure good positioning helps against gunners a lot. At least in theory. In practice my buddy complains about my positioning. Because I allways rush

Suppression is also really good. Can't shoot you if they're too busy crapping themselves. Sometimes it's better than running in blindly in the line of fire if you don't have a clear way to engage (stealth, rush, whatever).

here's how would I build Hellbore, Take Shredder cuz Hellbore is pretty bad against horde and you want to not use your melee as much as possible
