Mobility is the dump stat
single shot/low fire rate
Stability you can prob still live with
Maybe take it to the range and see is if the stability bothers you
tho is the weapon it self any good?
was one of the autoguns that looked interesting to try
welp
atleast surgical
but bad perks
and im not sure if ghost is even good
the blessing i mean
FYI the vraks headhunter works alarmingly well with opening salvo
when ADS'd it resets stupidly fast
you are the sniper
Basically a dmr
shoot head, buys you time to shoot next head while being shot at
if aggressive i can see it being unnecessary/useless
So, any generally accepted good blessings and perks for Mk3 and Mk7 Sapper shovels yet?
can make it work, but its not the meta "double dps god tier" set up some would go for
so what aboutn this?
this the othe rgood perk for me to get?
and maybe replace ghost?
could go hh/da if you wanna go full damage on it
if you want ghost, keep it, but think hh would be a good choice
errr DA
sorry, mentally slow
ok so i got this one now
tripple 80% but really hoping good perks and blessings
ahh dammit
seriously why the second perk range damage against poxwalkers even exist
because it makes it harder to get what you want
there fore, you continue to run the hamster wheel
Honestly just replace the perks and it’s perfectly serviceable
You need perfect weapons
i mean sprint effciency is atleast useable even tho not great
Even for auric
nearly perfect, thanks melk
I’d replace both perks just because 25 percent damage is big
The emperor demands engagement metrics
so get 25% Carapace and Flak?
maniac dunno, i can mow them down in damnation still just as easily
isnt the carapace dmg on that gun complete crap? i dont remember
low stability on vraks feels bad
idk, if not running plsma then gimped against mualer crushers
ok not too bad atleast
not triiple 80% sadly
but close enough
now i just need to get deadly accurate and it will be fine
and replace the second perk
falter is really terrible though, ruins your followups
yeah but i can replace it
I didn't see anything about it in patch notes
pretty sure gunners have unarmoured on the head
Flak/maniac on that gun. +maniac will accelerate your ttk proportionately more and likely allow you to go ammo neutral or even positive on them.
dreg gunners are unarmoured on the head
well yeah but doesnt this one shot them anyways with out it?
also dammmit
Unarmored can be required on certain guns, but is generally bad for firearms.
just went through 9k plasteel trying to get DA
DA?
so i just got the tier 3 one from melk
deadly accurate
extra damage for weakspot hits
and my veteran build is mainly weakspot
yeah but i also have surgical
tier 4 version
Yop, an important distinction though
ok here
im seriouslly annoyed the tripple 80% version of this gun i had gotten bad perks
but heres finally a good replacement
Welcome to darktide crafting
after bunring like 9k plasteel and 100k
can they just remove the garbage perks?
like poxwalker damage does not need to exist as a perk
Now imagine spending 30k+ chasing a single blessing back in yonder day, when you got like 1/3 the resources at best and melk gave even shitter stuff
ok from testing it
Moral of the story is collective bitching works
if with high damage modifier
this is in melks. I feel like the base stats arent great but look at the luck on the blessings..? should I cop this thing?
this autogun one shots dreg
so i could replace unarmoured for something else(i do like having unyielding)
although im still thinking about it still
I'd take it for the Precog or the Ruthless Backstab blessing, if you dont have Uncanny already
smash or pass?
I dont sho🅱️el, so I have no idea
i messed with Take a Swing and the special attack, didnt feel any bettter
mk7 push attack is already good at murking trash without it
if i were to pick this up
i'd swap Infested and Take a Swing for other stuff
nice base stats tho
hmmmm
fixable?
I think limbsplitter is the way to go on this
you're cooking, swap reload for maniac and BtE for Ghost or something
BtE to ghost/raking/infernus, based on pref
I don't have ghost as a transferrable blessing, this is my only copy at lv 4
finding a lesser tier Ghost at the peddler or something will be serviceable
it basically only helps chip damage on bosses
mm
you dont have to melt your old laspis
Huh, just got this as an emp's gift and I think I might keep. What would you want for knives on a Vet?
I think I'd change stamina to maniac on this
what I like to do on knife is
take frag grenades
and then take the +1 bleed on hit
so mercy killer constantly procs
there is another weakspott damage blessing, I forgot its name
you can either replace riposte with that to go all in on headshot damage
riposte/uncanny is one of the decent blessing combos IIRC
I just personally go for weakspot combo on knife but thats me
What are essential perks on a Agripinaa Revovler?
agripina.. braced one?
Yes
Honestly Idk but I'd assume flak/maniac as usual?
I guess carapace/unyielding also not bad either
Mine rolled 1 bad and 1 good blessing so I can only change 1 perk now (keeping the 5% crit hit chance)
ive never messed with axes but this is at sir milky
crit chance isnt so bad tbh
is it good?
4 perfect 80s is good lol
I hate them tho
i dont want to waste the coin tbh i just wasnt sure
I think if you want an axe
either combat axes
or chainaxes
Maybe there is something I'm missing but tac axe just feels awful to me
You shold probably test out another Atrox II axe before buying it from Melk to see if you like the way it handles...
you can buy it to keep it around for future buffs but if you're short on melk bucks I wouldn't
this tbh ^
fair enough thanks
The Blessings might be worth it for crafting tho
see the animation set in meat grinder
limbsplitter IV is very good but Idk if it applies to other axes lol
if its just for tac axes then blergh
yeah they really need to fix this system for better clarity on blessings
i have no idea what blessing i have or dont have, which weapon they work on, etc lol
flak/maniac is fine but imo 5% crit is good too. helps out crucian roulette proc a bit more, and funnily enough Deadshot will still add crit chance to the braced stance
Usually same weapon families share blessings
but I just don't know what counts as a family for axes
what would yall say your win rate is in solo pub auric maelstrom?
I'd assume tac axes would only include... well, tac axes.
higher than my normal auric winrate suprisingly enough.
All you need to clear auric maelstorm is one good teammate
usually good players que for auric maelstorms
hey by the way is ts the headhunter autogun i got the high damage one?
sheesh armory stacked today
highest damage per shot is vraks 7
oh ok so what is the difference for the other two?
i wonder on that chainaxe how much the pen and shredder make up for the lower dmg
interesting
they affect damage for separate attacks I believe
Haven’t used the vraks iii much
But feels like three shot burst is kinda a waste of ammo on many targets
what border is this
well despite all the plasteel and melk points i had to spend i got my self a good vraks 7
even tho i has one with tripple 80% stats but had bad perks
Blind Justice, which is from the Vanguard bundle iirc
i.e. you played before nov 2023 lol
oh man it definity is pretty fun
just popping heads
the meta build for vraks gun uses deadly accurate which is +100% damage on critical headshots
you pair that with a second crit blessing
either surgical or headhunter depending on playstyle choice
currently i have DA 3 and surgigcal 4
you can also throw deadshot in there
thats good
what I like to do is
use some stamina curios
and throw in deadshot in there
no thats this one
i dont have blind justice and i dont see it in the unlock options
oh wait nvm, i do have it
holding court is quite the privilege in the imperium
lol blind justice was also part of the pack but ye
Just rolled this hotness. What y'all think I should replace flak with?
Do Zelots have any way to quickly regen toughness just from sprinting or while away from enemies (not ulting)
(I guess toughness regen from coherency of course)
but other than that
Oh I see
Thank you I didnt know there were two
movement keystone should give toughness on proc
Loner aura
yeee... well I've seen multiple instances of teammate's toughness regen (or gain w/e) increase dramatically when I have "Catch a Breath" and "Born Leader"
and I'm in their coherency
inexorable judgement is what? %40 toughness on proc?
If they take the left talent for it, yeah. But they need to hit something for it to proc
yeh 2-40%
yeah this is after a fight ends
thats on top of all the crazy steroids you get for proccing it
Loner aura gives them 2 coherency at all times
it makes me wonder if there is some kind of minimum amount of toughness it gives, and benifits from "out for blood" as well
not difficult in a horde shooter
always something to hit
and no class faster than zealot
For sure, but vicid was asking about toughness regen while away from enemies
the other charge ability will also regen 50% toughness? but besides that I don't think they have much regen outside of what's already mentioned
I dont see why thats discussed in vet chat anyhow
I mean yes in that case
loner aura
🤷♂️
I'll get into some more matches, but I believe this is an interaction between Catch a Breath and Born Leader - and it's increasing regen WAY MORE than 15% of 5% per second
he's asking if it's something he's got specced into or if it's them lol
does loner make the effective toughness regen count as 6 in coherency vs the standard 4?
Doesn't it hard cap to 4?
Description just says 'you always count as being in at least 2 coherency '
ok so probably stops at 4
Here's my theory: Catch a breath is "5% per second" but it is a constant steady stream, not giving me toughness in some kind of chunk of 5% every second
So every very fast tick of toughness that's giving me is being turned into something that is more than 15% of what I'm gaining
I think thats how most over time toughness regen works, yeah
Yes though it has a cooldown that triggers if you take any kind of damage.
I'd imagine so
thats a good point, I should see what it looks like when they get shot but are still near me and we still have catch a breath going
If he's got loner he's got his own toughness regen on top of yours (also he has to be in your coherency for born leader to affect him)
yes
I can see how many are in my coherency though
so I can account for that more or less
oh man. I might take "charismatic"
yuck
dont think charismatic does anything for other people's coherency buff range
right now it seems like taking shout and born leader, focus target and target down might be some kind of insane toughness generating build for the team
it doesn't, but it spreads my T heals around
Well Born Leader says "Allies in Coherency"
Tbh zealot has a lot of toughness generation already, i don't know if they need help in that regard
depends on if they coded it based on coherency or if they coded it as a separate buff that has default coherency range
someone probably did already test this
but its worth making sure
get two vets in teh same mission, see if they both regester being in coherency, one with charisma and one without
they don't need any help
I think everyone benifits from free toughness
yeah zelots can dodge shooters for free toughness too
There's also the question on is it more efficient to feed your team toughness vs killing the enemy faster so they don't damage your toughness in the first place
you can just stunlock and murk gunner/shotgun patrols if they're closely packed together
We shoot anything that's bulky and heretical
you have two pops of gapcloser
only time I feel the pain is when its a big ass area
and in those cases smart to take a flank route
there often is a flank route
Here's a question to ponder: if you're using a braced autogun will you get more toughness generation from exhilarating Takedown or Out for Blood
neither will work well
out for blood will work well I'm sure
But out for blood could get use for should generate only some toughness before emptying the mag
from shooting fodder

yeah but at that point you're shooting fodder
which I can understand for a knife build
Exactly which is better off using melee
Braced Auto has enough ammo to shoot fodder
Like I can litterally do it all day in Damnation Aurics no issue
NGL this seems like a pretty low impact play
alternatively, bayonet
brautos feel more aligned with zealot plays
Shotgun Buckshot Crits is best fodder shredder
brautos definitely feel zealot pilled
I know how to make them veteran pilled with a single change though
just one change
give deadshot spread reduction
you can hit snipers with brauto
really not an issue
The only melee I need to do with this thing is crushers, but one of my builds can also shoot crushers with Onslaught
I guess the question becomes... is it worth it
yeah it's worth the point, so is Target Down
Oh
insane toughness
Isn't it just the uh, coherence aura increase
I got home and tested it Smudgles, even "Catch a breath" is pumping my team full of toughness passively

Idk man, if you're in a fight catch a breath is probably not active
If you're not in a fight you don't need the toughness regen
but the other things a vet does to gain toughness is active
If your in a shootout it is
8m is very close
this seems decent?
Yes but his point is to feed the zealot toughness
Who is probably in the thick of things
zelot, ogryn, other vet, or psyker.
here's the thing, with charismatic I believe I can even give the zelot my catch a breath when he's in melee
I just gotta play some more games to see
nono let me build to help out the single most self reliant class in the game

You're gonna be really micromanaging your coherency aura with this man, your attention is better off used killing things tbh
Seriously I only want one thing from veterans in my team
shoot the damn gunner
don't fold to 2 poxwalkers
you ask all this from us vets but you cant even count
it comes with playing zealot
It's PASSIVE I don't have to THINK I'm killing stuff and spreading toughness even the PUGS know that the game was too easy
I know new ideas scary
Veteran sharpshooter
I mean you do you, personally I think the talents can be better used elsewhere
why not, you get tons of your own toughness
you get nowhere near the same survivability other veteran builds get
and you have the weakest melee
I just told you I can shoot everything but crushers on this
and that's what the chain sword is for
here's a very similar build I just made a guide for, but since I don't take onslaught in the thing I'm working on now I switched the melee from Reshaad to chain sword
you can see the build here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3117809351
thanks for watching!
spend 95% of my time shooting
“Just shoot your gun”
This is veteran’s very true but unhelpful guide to play the class
%90 of vet arguments at this point is
If I am like 2 fucking stopping power off on a mk2 how cucked did I get
irrelevant difference
wait fr?
Wasn't there some fuckshit about mk2 needing 80 80 exact for breakpoints
Or was that all before the talent tree reworks
maybe on some specific build for a specific breakpoint?
I can't tell
its the fastest firing one
mine also has like 78 something
maybe it matters if you don't run exec stance
what are good blessings for a headhunter autogun?
deadly accurate + surgical or headhunter
how about opening salvo?
not good
headhunter guns are all about crit headshots
and getting value out of opening salvo is more gimmicky than you might think
oof, I figured it'd proc every burst
If you're gonna bother waiting to reset your burst
you might aswell wait for surgical procs and crit
or if you dont like waiting take headhunter and spam for crit strings
even if it did that, its not gonna compete with the crit damage. You'll see what I mean when you roll those blessings
Salvoes are measured based on when recoil begins to when it resets.
So you can't afford to lower your fire rate just for that.
Opening salvo doesn't really give anything interesting afaik
It would be an interesting blessing if it was tied to your shooting behavior
Oh headhunters they reset REALLY FAST
but even so
And on top of that
headhunters are just built for finesse and DA
But at the same time it doesn't give you any interesting breakpoints so blegh
The base damage increase via salvo blessings can't compare to crit.
the damage increase you get is too good to pass and vraks 3 even got a nerf because of said build
I have two vraks 3, one with manic and flak, and deadly accurate 3 with no respite 4
maniac flak is fine
deadly accurate also fine but it needs to be paired with a crit blessing so you proc it as often as you can
the other is unarmored, chaff damage, opening and salvo, this is the new one, no refinements yet
the first one is looking to be replaced
The first one has 3 good things on it
but my new one is just bricked I suppose
second one seems bricked
yeah unfortunately
I guess unarmored isnt the end of the world
chaff damage kinda meme tier though
you're already overkilling those so hard on vraks
besides its a waste of ammo
unarmored is okay, kill scav gunners easier
the first one also has sub 50 damage which is really painful xD
whats the vrak's dump stat?
I'd say mobility probably
mobility can be at like 50's
you will lose a dodge under 50 I believe
how good are the brittleness perks on vet?
the Emperor has answered my prayers for a good vraks at last
so you have 3 branches of talents and each has some sort of rend/brittle talent
good luck with hadron
is smoke grenade is like the worst option out of all 3
im just looking at exploit weakness and onslaught
I MEA N
Smoke grenade is real fun
picking both doesnt make too much sense to me
Don't let haters stop you
replacing falter and maybe unyielding with flak, and I should be good
exploit weakness is nice if you have a high crit rate melee build
otherwise rather pointless
Like I can definetly say just don't put it directly in front of your teams face
onslaught works for guns so its good for full auto high rate of fire weapons
You throw it on the ranged enemies, then run in
the fuc
cool thanks plush
Well in front
want some head?
Of ranged, imo
er wait
If you throw it on the ranged enemies you can run in and be safe while killing all of them
Well defensively I should say, if you can't run to the enemies you do want to make sure they have to run into the smoke
I think considering the opportunity cost is important here
lots of tight corridors and spots smokes will do a lot, lots of open spaces where they wont do as much
you give up kraks/shredders for smoke
thats a very high cost on a class that can shit out grenades every minute
Yeah
agreed. the kraks are so good

is anyone else having godawful connection the past week
idk
im rubber banding in like every game
its driving me insane
Melee shout vet is already so strong, doesn't need shredder or kraks
yeah rubberbanding comes and goes for me
i did a fair bit yesterday
Shredder is pretty good all round imo
servers are probably having to handle more and more people given its near to christmas
Great against hordes, decent vs maulers
Variety
also great synergy for bleed setups
Truuue
if you have like a bleed melee
Like 400 levels of vet later maybe you wanna try something else
I had exactly 1 game where the vet (bless their soul) put the smoke exactly wrong
Ohhhh boy
About 5 foot in front of us while we were shooting
So they still shot but we couldn't see

Well only if they were already shooting yeah
they have ammo and they will shoot it
sight matters not when within bayonet range
bulwarks are unyielding yes?
I think? they are also elites
That'd be good for some situations yea
or if it led to funny enemy on enemy situations
Between the infantry lasguns and CIAG, which one would you all prefer to take into damnation?
ciag is overtuned rn
this is a funny question to ask in this ciag meta
so that
I'm stuck between max larping guardsmen with the lasgun or mowing everything down with CIAG
I mean infant las is ok
what was the word
''it has a niche''
or so people say
and yea its good for shooting gunners with little ammo cost
Its not gonna hose things like ciag does
Infant las
babi las
I still feel like laspis punches more
maybe cause its so easy to be accurate with it
It's nice if you play backline and take your time and shoot shooters
infant las has a lot of visual recoil going for it
But also this game likes to spawn 30 ragers behind you on a whim soooo
I think thats the main problem with infant las family
Your "backline" role is a lie
yea
Everything is frontline
pretty much everthing is frontline all the time
partially why executioner feels so terrible to play
So as a frontline weapon ilas is just kinda poo
Executioner is fine if you run ciag
That hoses anything
True
Idk why they have "ambushes" that just spawn ragers/maulers behind you
Does anyone have any experience with the Tactical Axes
And if so, what should I be aiming for.
to fuck with sharpshooter vet ofc
It was op for the majority of the games lifespan so they get to suffer for eternity now
I never used them, so this is news to me.
I'd say its moreso executioner vet is unrewarding
Yea
I don't feel much different playing my zealot, if anything I get even stronger
tho certain melee weapons funnily enough
feel better on vet lol
Anyone want to help me get MESC ? 🙂
damn

sigh
owie
550 of SHIT maybe
To be fair
Shitcoin gun
I could've added t4 onslaught but why bother with sustained fire as secondary
this would be a pretty sweet roll if it had crit chance instead of crit damage and no respite instead of infernus
it shoots faster than most people can line up accurate shots
so no respite for stacking damage on stunned enemies
I think is better for mk2
I'm just going to pretend surgical and sustained fire are both fine
and reload speed is a nice to have, is what I'll tell myself
moment
holy moly
300 rating shoudnt exist
Tbhis one is beyond the pale
fr the system is so rotten
Fresh out of the oven boiz
based 0% hs
💀💀💀
nerf sword
it might aswell heal
That's 1 painful shovel
Is volatile any good on plasma since most of the time you do uncharged attacks?
When is a good time to do charged attacks with it btw?
Blaze away does not work as often as you think it should
So unless its still broken, perfectly serviceable
Don't quote me on this since I don't plasma much but I saw it mentioned here that volatile affects how fast your uncharged shots go out too
It used to be a broken blessing, doing literally nothing
Could be fixed now
Idk I dont use plasma
Blaze away you need to be spot on with your spam of the blessing just never triggers
my first run with my new vraks 3 with surgical
Really goofy how it works
78 damage versus sub 50 from earlier is a huge difference alone, and I see the power of surgical
Ill use plasma more once that scion set that was leaked gets released
Scions using a standard Lasgun will look goofy
yes
veteran hellgun when
pics or it didnt happen
Tempestus scion?
Think of them as elite special forces.

That's nice, wonder if it will have voice modififation
Is doing Karnak twins the best way to get MESC right now?
The best of the best that a standard non-transhuman can offer.
so every single person is gonna be using this right
Highly likely it'll be popular, yeah.
Shame I probably won't be able to afford it, nearly used all my aquilas from legendary edition used
hmmm how is this at milk's. i think it's bricked, but i don't have this knife yet.
Unfortunately it seems likely there won't be specific scion armor.
All we have is a helmet and a backpack.
Could just not be done unless its already in rotation?
The conclusion in theorycrafting from Norris is that the armor is just going to be a recolored Cadian set.
Nah he's been mapping out the release patterns for cosmetics.
Whats coming this week
If there was going to be scion specific armor, it'd've been found by now.
Savlar Chemdogs if I remember correctly.
I wouldn't consider it the best, but it is an easy way.
I wish cosmetics were cheaper and more affordable
Cuz that scion backpack has been in the files for a long time
What's better? 🙂
You can ask @gleaming turtle directly if you want. He's been delving into this stuff for weeks.
I got mine by running a restart the smelter (not repair) mission and asking the squad to wait in the final hallway before the elevator for me to empty all of rounds there. Easy because it's just poxwalkers that spawn at that point.
And a nice long sightline.
Good idea. Might try that next.
which chainaxe mk is better
you and everyone else
but uh
you can buy the 4 rogue trader cosmetics for 40usd
50usd*
or the actual rogue trader game for 50usd
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Big yikes
bruh, brunt is HILARIOUS
I want to play rogue trader but going to wait until fixed
cheesed mine in new boss fight on heresy, stupid easy
just make a group in lfg for it
Which is better for PS6: slaughterer or sunder?
slaughterer i guess but both are bad

you pc and bm
PC and BM are better.
its worse than bm
tf is bm
and pc is mandatory
@finite imp I might have a peak knife build for vet cooking up
WHERE IS IT
So far there's a scion backpack and helmet in the files.
Doesn't look like there will be armor though.
The avg free thinking veteran players when fatshark drops the tempestus scion wargear:
when going to get the ammo aura do you guys prefer getting catch a breath or get back in the fight?
Get back in the fight.
Catch a breath keeps your stamina up in longer-range firefights vs gunners
GBITF is useful for the occasions where you’re really screwed
I prefer CaB but u can take either
I rarely run into situations where I think "Man I really need CaB".
But if shit hits the fan due to circumstances I couldn't control, then GBITF always helps me salvage them.
I leave my team to grab as much plasteel they didn’t bother collecting
So different application
Let's see it
mk3 or mk6 knife
Uncanny strike
Mercy killer
Kantrael mk9 shotgun
Scattershot
Flechette
You’ll almost exclusively be using fire shots
Fire + bleed will kill most horde enemies very easily
You still have survivalist to help ur team
U have both nade regen talents + tinkered frags to wipe rooms
U have serrated blade to enable mercy killer
No trench drills huh
U can kill all armored targets & elites fairly easily
I’ve realized
Not going into bottom right
Gives u so much versatility in what u can build
french tighter drill should be higher to get
And the 10% atk speed difference is not the biggest deal since most of what you’ll be doing is push atk + heavy
Cannot tell if sarcasm lol
Vet class best class
Frag + kantrael shotgun should be more than enough to deal with hordes (even mixed hordes)
new knife or old?
Either
I think they’re similar enough that it doesn’t really matter
I have a weakspot build thats okay but not very impressive
I'd like to see what you're cooking up
This build can 1-2 tap ragers with knife
cause knife is one of those weapons that looks great on meat grinder
but dont find it very impressive in live games
I'm fast and I don't do a whole lot
One kantrael fire shot can kill every bruiser, poxwalker & groaner in a cone
It takes a bit of practice
I only use skill issue weapons lol
Revolver and knife desperado build
All gas no brakes
I use it with ciag or braced on veteran
But if you fuck up your combos you are FUCKED
so I can make up for cleave if it comes to me
I think if you’re gonna go for knife vet
If you can't juke ragers you are FUCKED
But once u have the horde clear aspect covered
Knife does anti-elite really really well
TBf oh revolver has so much pierce
Of
Og
It can cut a horde down pretty good if you're a wa
Ws
what kinda build do you run with
I just copied telopots build for knife with some alterations
I didnt even take any attack speed on knife btw
its already so fast for me that it felt redundant
also it pains me
Type vibe
that I have to make a detour to grab +1 bleed
Best grenade tbh
so the bleed blessing works
A good chunk of krak’s can take down the small bosses
It's not. If you proc your weapon specialist and then also have trench fighter you can become a whirlwind of steel
Pop a speed stim
and not break my mouse
Yeah if you wanna be a BIG PUSSY AND A BIG DUMB NOOB LOSER WHO DOESNT HAVE ARTHRITIS GO AHEAD
and my finger
One thing I think u can change is
Swap the beginner branch from
COD -> CK -> 1 stamina
To
VG -> O4B -> 5% move speed
Cuz fire + bleed from the shotgun is going to get u some funny kills that trigger O4B for u
And tinkered frags is basically full toughness regen when dropped on a horde
I mean sure I'd like to see your knife builds
but doesnt mean I won't nitpick about em
Nah everyone does
Something you gotta realize
Is the best build is the one you tune yourself based on your comfortable fighting habits
Yea
duh
After each round you should be thinking HMMM what did I struggle with
I just skip keystone on the british roleplay build
YOU SAY THAT AND THEN MFS COME IN HERE COPYING EACH OTHERS HONEWORK AND SAYING THEIR BUILD SUCKS
I base my builds solely on my own desired applications
And it's like cuz dude
You don't have the same habits
I literally got called useless for giving that advice before
And I said hey fuck you
U can try the build I sent tho
I would party up but I just hit the fuckin hay
I'm doing ok but I can tell I'm being lackluster in performance compared to my other builds
mine is similar except I take desperado path instead of %15 elite damage
Any important breakpoints on the DMR Headhunter autogun?
I once ask my babushka
Babushka why is knife best vet weapon
And she says
Who are you get out of my attic
And I said
That’s fair, I just like easy access to -stamina regen delay
Everyday I wake up and I heavy 1 to work
Both gunner 1 tap head
That is a nice gun
does that matter that much on knife though? not like you're running deadshot
hmm
maybe
do you run any stam curios
the CIAG feels like a magic wand that shoots death at anything I point it at
I think having 1s stamina regen feels bad especially given you’ll be doing the push atk into heavy combo quite a lot
I’d have gone for both stamina regen reduction talents if I could
fair
I have been spamming the special attack + follow up heavy combo instead
the funny punch
What does punch even do
not much besides stargger I think but its follow-up attack is a heavy one
This
I mean
does a tiny bit of damage but an irrelevant amount
It's follow up is a heavy stab
So it’s just a combo reset?
The punch doesn’t even stagger most enemies?
Does it make follow up attacks stagger more or smth?
yeah its mainly to spam heavy3 in quick succession
or thats my understanding
keep in mind I'm using the new knife
its first heavy in the chain is a cleave attack
and second one is a reverse angle attack that doesn't always hit what I want
mk3 is well.. tad different
I'd say its probably the better knife but I enjoy mk6 more
I think the heavy chain should lean more into cleave attacks
since you can always use special combo to access heavy 3
Both knives are good
knife has... a lot that all seem promising
Mercy killer + uncanny strike
You running serrated
Cuz I run serrated
If so listen to numbers cat
Lacerate is not bad
I like mercy killer + executor on mine with serrated
I think haymaker is prob funny with mk6 knife since it’s a cleave H1
Oh brother
no
Back stabs have a native 25 percent flat damage bonus my dude
yeah as I thought
so that backs my opinion here that
its high risk high reward
going for the weakspot route
Stab them in the cerebral cortex
maybe I'm having trouble with oggies
since they dont have much of a brain to begin with
This is what i've been running and it feels very nice
Does Demo team give others grenades on proc or just you
I remember it giving others grenades also but that was the old days...
Only yourself
They changed it
Only yourself now
Still extremely good due to frags being very strong
Imagine unlimited ogryn nukes tho
Debatable but sure
If it were me I would still let it proc on teammates, but maybe nuke needs it to proc 4 times before you get 1 back
Nukes wipe stuff instantly
2 tinkered frags wipe stuff slower but will still kill most enemies
tinkered frags are good enough yeah
odd question, with the redacted penance....are they still completable.
As long as u complete the challenges u can get the rewards
just wanted to make sure, still want to hit that 5kills with no bounce
I think every single penance is working rn? Some are just much harder than others
That one is easy
Mark enemies that are roughly 40m away
Throw frag above their head

Can use tinkered fragrance but not needed
ill just keep yeet'ing my krak grenades during missions
ill get it...just wanted to make sure it was still possible
Krak doesn’t count for that penance
Has to be frag grenades
true, found krak to be more my style of brute force trauma directed to forehead of enemy
Krak is just for crushers, bulwarks & bosses
I find it easier to use
It has magnetism to carapace and bulwark shield so yea
and flak
and unyielding
It doesn’t track bosses I think
It just tracks carapace & bulwark shield
ah true
Forgor there was a slight difference in mechanics there

i just chuck em at groups of enemies
ya mad weird but is a game changer when tryna get funny multi kills
and watch the group get turned into paste
the big balls play is to run AT the enemies after chucking the nade
so they don't move and instead group up around the naded enemy
for the multi-kill
that is a solid way to ensure they're all still grouped up
Silly question. You guys even use a skill or weapon that doesn’t work well with your build/ is mediocre/ etc just because you like it / It’s what you’re good with?
I'll bring my bolter on any zealot build sometimes just to use it
I see the heresy/damnation issue is just the same as the champion/legendary thing in Vermintide
Just as the Emperor intended
A weapon you understand well pretty much always outperforms something that’s statistically better but unfamiliar to u
I agree!
What role does the knife serve for the vet? It's fun but it doesnt seem great for anything
I'll do that to just mix things up
Knife is versatile and fast with amazing dodge. With the right blessings it's good into hordes and elites. It's very good into carapace imo
Variety is the spice of life after all!
And at a certain point you get enough game sense and skill that most things are usable. As much as we talk about balance I'm thankful that almost any weapon can be used on damnation to at least alright results.
It’s truly good Fatshark did that. Makes me happy.
Especially now that chainaxes have been buffed
What blessings do you reccomend for anti elite / armor
