Sorry late reply. I personally go toughness regen but you should really have enough from your talents. If I'm not mistaken the "pros" prefer stamina regen <- Ability regen <- whatever your pref (I think gunner resistance is great but only for auric damn - personally I'd go just normal toughness but I'm a toughness junkie. HP seems to be the "best" for allround)

@north raptor You might want to check meat grinder if you can one-shot what you want from the horde and elites. Unyielding and carapace isn't necesarry but nice to have vs. bosses and crushers.
Flak or unarmoured could be worth it if you are >25% from killing something with 1 swing

i had that problem at my first try as well, thats what made me regret investing in that weapon, but then, after talking with some experienced players here, i found out that the suppression immunity is pretty much a must for that weapon as well, as it makes it much easier to land hits if you're getting shot from something

Depends on what you want in a melee weapon. Vet has lots of good options. IIRC the Chainsword is faster and has better mobility. Between those weapons I would honestly just try grey ones in the Psykanium and see which moveset you like the best.

I love experimenting with builds, in games in general, and the grindy, RNG-heavy gear system gets in the way of that, from two angles:

1. If gear doesn't matter, character building is that much shallower and not a source of satisfaction when you "get it right"

2. If gear does matter, it makes it actually important to do the stupid fucking grind. And then you're not experimenting because grindy systems punish that, you're looking up guides and following the meta rather than waste your precious resources on a failed experiment
