try them all out. almost all the helbores have their uses, and imho, it really comes down to preference
for ex. I prefer the Mk3, the slowest and hardest hitting one, but I know a lot of people also prefer the Mk1 and Mk2

Yea it's preferences. Mk3 the hardest hitting, slowest charge with a downward bayonet swing. Mk2 is the lowest hitting, fastest charge with bayonet stab. Mk1 is in between with a bayonet stab. The bayonet swing is enough for me to not bother with 3. Mk1 hits hard enough for me, and I don't like mk2's charge pace.

FF doesnt show stacks with melee out, however when you swap back to the gun they pop up at whatever count you had prior to the first swap

I hate stagger its harder to line up headshots but yea its got amazing suppression too thats its thing. Its wosre at range than pretty much every non braced rifle though its just the best at range braced

The gun has a brace so you don’t need to ever aim

What it does have is great base damage, so if you want to go all in on hitting things it's a good weapon to grab
