How did you all get to havoc 40?
I've come back to darktide after not playing for like a year. Auric 5 was a cakewalk, but I'm playing havoc in the mid twenties and I just can't seem to get the team through it.
......this isn't meant to be a rage post but I'm genuinely not sure if the right way to play this is to find teammates on discord etc, rather than in the party finder. I would say in the last twenty games, I've been the only person alive within the first few minutes of starting. Even happens with decent comps (all bases covered i.e. gold health, horde clear, boss clear, ranged shielding, special sniping, etc), nevertheless games feel like the expectation is for me to do 8/11 of those jobs and also solo clutch over and over.
What is everyone else's experience in 25-35?

except if they're long-term teammates. in which case it's far more enjoyable

Whatever is attacking you will be subjected to more impact recoil/stagger on a perfect parry, i.e., they will be put (varying on enemy and type of attack they did) into a different, longer stagger animation and thus not be able to do anything until they recover

All 5 stats on a weapon can only be combined to 380 (4 stats 80, 1 being 60) while the weapon rating does to 500. That is tied to level of empowerment iirc

There's an all rounder balance stat of 76% on every stat too. That's the best as it gets currently.

Havoc doesnt spawn any mats during the run only ammo/crates/stimms. Trials gives alittle at the very end of the run but your best farming quickplay on the highest difficulty you can handle without dying.

Mortis is more for those on the casual side of things acting like a rougelite. Havoc is your endgame that takes the game from a 10 to a 14 the higher and higher you get

Alot of people play havoc up to 25 to unlock the cosmetics but a decent bit go all the way to H40. I find havoc to be super fun having about 363 havocs under my belt. You might like it or might hate it but if the game feels to easy havoc is the only place where you can find a real challenge.

Per that doc hp and toughness is all additive with themselves. Meaning you don't get diminishing returns using them as blessings or perks. So if you are looking for survivability you can put both on all 3 curios. Then your final pick could be a specific resistance, different on each of them.

Imagine using the revolver, it does a shitload of damage, especially when it crits and on headshots, let's say it does 5000 damage. If you shoot a crusher that has 5000 hp, you did 0 overkill damage, if you shoot a poxwalker in the head that has 500 hp, you did 4500 overkill damage.

at a 4 to 1 ratio, so 4% rending = 1% damage

brittleness doesn’t get that damage increase
