electrokinetic is good if you just want to LMB spam balls at people and kill every special

inferno staff is godly for killing hordes and most everything really

and then voidstrike/voidblast are like, also okay

I honestly can't remember which does what but I think voidblast is the ground AOE thing which is fairly good at mulching hordes at least though imo it's more fiddly than the inferno

and voidstrike is you just throw an extra big ball

so there's no reason not to have at least one of each

LMB is also useful for peeking, LMB on someone's head, duck into cover

since you can do it from behind walls

wait for about 2 hordes to group up together, or look for a light's out mission.

In the Power Supply Interruption mission look for one of the stationary groups of horde enemies. These usually have roughly 20-30 enemies more or less. Then wait for a horde wave to come, push/corral the front portion a little to make sure they are positioned to get roasted as a group, then uses 2 stun grenades (maybe try right trigger aiming to throw the nade at ur feet quicker) and kill them all w/ a well-built flamer and hold down the trigger.

and maybe do it at a 4 or 5 standard mission w/ hi-intensity and try starting a penance party finder group

get one character to max lvl and have good gear then use that character to do highest possible difficulty mission to farm it?

I completed a mission on damnation, and right after we extracted and I was supposed to see the mission rewards, it booted me out and gave me an error 4001 and said there was an error joining my strike team? I wasn't having any ping issues and everything was going great, it makes zero sense

enemies have damage overflow in havoc which will deal extra damage beyond your minimum health as corruption damage, which is why crushers can do that, it can happen with other enemies too, in h39 i was missing a bit of toughness when i got hit by a bulwark and i recieved enough damage to instantly kill me cuz of the overflow

Flamer is a weapon for players that are good at the game

Because you then need to use the knife to kill enemies from range, and if you're not good with hitting weakspots from range with the knife then you dont have a ranged tool

though in order to max out the weapon’s stats (damage, finesse, etc) you have to master the weapon family

which you do by using the weapon, or sacrificing weapons to that family at hadron (sacrificing weapons of the same family gives you significantly more XP for mastery)

That's because certain enemies are hardcoded to almost instantly break your stamina (Bulwarks, Crushers, Maulers) and just blocking in the middle of a horde is a great way to get your stamina shredded regardless

Or, if you can actually handle the difficulty, put on your purple/gold titles and frames and keep spamming requests. Havoc hosts get a lot of requests and will choose the sweatiest-looking high level people, but hey you might just get lucky. Just be sure to pull your own weight if you get in.

I assume as much, so let me ask a better question: How close do you have to get to a daemon host to make it aggro?

All you need is a long hallway or chokepoint and dense horde. So play high intensity/Auric/Maelstrom and a not so open map. Modifiers like ventilation purge can keep the whole horde untouched by your team.

I see multiple posts in this discord/reddit claiming that info is outdated, as the charge rate damage bug was fixed in patch a long time ago.

I dont see why fatshark would remove charge rate actualy doing its job of charging the plasma alt-fire faster after patching the old bug. So in it current state all it really does for you is charge upo the rifle a second faster than you would without it

But at the same time. i forgot what the other benefits on the plasma rifle for the veteran are. If mobility is one of them charge rate is probably a better choice

If you’re broke on resources or unlucky, a 60% thermal resist dump would probably be the next best thing since you only lose 1 shot in continuous fire and the core functionality (vent at max heat to shoot twice) is unchanged
