Yeah, on the settings, go to controller, find "dead zone" and set it low, default should be 0.10, it helps with small movements

so i was doing some testing in the meat grinder and noticed that after the first shot my critchance gets set to a new static number for as long as i aim down sight, reseting back to normal base critchance upon letting go of the button

either this is a weapon with a different crit chance on ADS (iirc laspistol is one such weapon) or thats just how the game does crit chance and thats how the mod is showing it

one of the biggest changes i saw was the revolver, going from 5% base up to 25% for every shot after the first one

its for both hipfire and ads, and only resets upon going in/out of ads wepon swap or reload

its seems faster fireing weapons get a lower crit rate and slower ones get a higher

automatics usually have a negative crit chance to account for the crit string mechanic, where multiple shots in succession will crit whenever a crit is rolled on a shot

as a general rule, generalists do better than specialists in tide games. If you've got an organized group to run with, it's not a terrible idea for each of you to specialize in different things (though you'd want someone else on the team at least somewhat capable of filling in for you if you get taken out for whatever reason), but that's about the only time you'd want to. Especially if you're pugging most of the time, you'll want to be a generalist, just because you'll never know what the pugs are bringing and likely not be able to coordinate them very well.

run t2-3 missions and pinball between exploding barrels while bunching up crowds. bots make this pretty much impossible so you'll have to torture new players

barrels often fail to kill trash mobs on higher difficulties so thats going to be even more miserable there

or just wait till they either cut it in half like they did with kills or make oil barrels actually count towards that/make it team wide counter

all progress is personal atm. if someone else lit the barrel you can still snag some kills by forcing the explosion

i suggest you finish everything else(literally) first, then focus on half of the kills that are left

pretty sure you can focus on completing it in 1 (very miserable) day

you can get some very juicy end event barrel spawns out of comms plex for upwards of 250 kills per mission without bots

my tip would be just wait till crafting rework if you are new

because if you really want to make a single "perfect" weapon you need 500k - 2million dockets , 1k-20K plasteel (depends on your luck RNG), and a few diamantine

• emperor gift after you complete a mission (very random curio or weapon depends on emperor mood)
• Melk shop (24 hrs shop using melk currency also RNG)
• Brunts exhange (shop that rotate random weapon per hour also RNG)
• Brunts armory ( same shop its the 2nd button , you can buy a specific weapon but the stat distribution is RNG)

actually its 5, the super RNG melk shop exist but i dont recommend that its a waste of resource

now the funny part if you are a new player i would suggest checking melk 24hr shop and post the weapon on class channel if you are interested so you can get a feedback if the weapon is worth it or not

But as is, I think waiting until lv30 is ideal

the primary and secondary damage is their base damage, before any bonuses from perks/blessings/talents

for melee weapons, the light and heavy attack damage you see is the damage of the first attack in their comboes
so if you have a melee that has attacks with differing damage values in the light or heavy combo (e.g., deimos force sword with the sweeping heavy 1 and stab heavy 2), it'll only display the damage of the sweeping heavy unless you go into the inspect table

Flank damage bonus is backstab related
Zealot’s Backstabber (melee backstab), Ambuscade (ranged backstab) & Raking Fire blessing all go into this category
Combat blades have innate +25% backstab damage bonus, also goes into this category

Finesse damage is weakspot / crit / critical-weakspot
+finesse is never a straightforward damage increases, instead it scales from the weapon’s base finesse bonus
If a weapon deals 50 damage at base, 100 weakspot damage, adding +30% weakspot finesse would do:
50 + (100-50)x(1+30%) = 115 damage (15% higher than before)

Weapons with larger discrepancies between base & finesse damage benefit more from +finesse

because FS uses literal arcane maths

I'm almost certain half the reason they're so slow on making new weapons & variants is because the dmg/stagger calculation stuff is unbelievably complex

+dmg taken (veteran gold ping, skullcrusher, etc) go into another separate bracket (additive within)
These 3 brackets are multiplicative with each other

+finesse only applies to the bonus dmg from crit/weakspot/crit-weakspot hits (not the base dmg itself)
ADM & rending is its own separate category (crits make this part really weird)

They are fairly similar to one another, it’s fair to type that none is truly better than the other two

Headtaker and Shred or BM is what I would run for blessings

BM is handy for having reasonable cleave against dense hordes of enemies

Unarmoured and Flak perks are relevant for having good breakpoints v Bruisers of both types IIRC, but Maniac is not a bad choice either

I personally like 2 and 4 the most; 2 because it has a bit more involved moveset than 4, and 4 I like because it has comparatively a more streamlined moveset (lights for all small targets and heavies for anything bigger than a rager)

Whereas 2 uses a mix of both light and heavy attacks for different purposes

There’s no standard metric for measuring that, but I’d say that if you can win consistently enough on a certain difficulty, and you feel like you’ve made an impact, then you’re doing decently enough

The most efficient ways to play don't suddenly change between say Malice to Damnation.

You're still trying to have a loadout to handle both mixed hordes and disablers/specials at range.

Good weapons will meet or be close enough to breakpoints that the health increase of enemies in Damnation is a minimal impact to your # of hits to kill and TTK.

If that isn't netting you that achievement, I'd be confident that the reason comes down to enemy density. But the recon doesn't necessarily pair well with the power sword as they're both competing for relatively short range kills.

Krak grenades are good for anti-carapace but you don't have many of them.

and switch recon lasgun to plasma to deal with crushers

1 shield + taunt ogryn, keep rinda busy
1 Gunlugger ogryn focus on boss dps
1 veteran with field improv, focus on anti-elite

Last one is flexible

Chain weapons’ rev attacks ignore damage cap on void shield and allows u to wreck their shields faster

Someone needs to clear Rodin’s gas mines as he throws them

Gas mines deal full wound corruption damage if they hit
