Is the Limbsplitter blessing as bad as it sounds? First attack in a chain +20% power each attack after -20% power. Or is there a technique for using that blessing. I have it on a tactical axe if that makes a difference.
I don't have issues with boxes with my vet and she is smol. In fact I tuck behind them pretty well. I do have issues with Ogryn butt blocking my shots. If I crouch I can shoot under their elbows. I don't know if being tall would help shooting around Ogryns. Can always run a plasma gun and shoot through.
block cancelling is afaik the only way to prevent the downsides from kicking in. It is REALLY bad.
on a taxe it's not good, since you gotta hit often in most use cases. on a combat axe it's quite alright for a psyker, since with peril blocking he has tons of stamina to spare, and can pushstab all day, for which limbsplitter provides free 20% upgrade.
which is why a brutal momentum + limbsplitter antax mk5 is considered by some people to be the best psyker melee option.

Me watching my 380 Base Stats primary weapon get the lowest fucking possible rolls on blessings and perks so it doesn't break the 500 item level cap.
yeah, it's mediocre. but it has one awesome blessing, so at some point, when the crafting is released, you'll definitely be able to improve it.
With my luck as you can see already crafting will take 2 months to be released, and you won't be able to upgrade the blessing %s

no, by all means, do all at once.
it's just that everything is separate per character. inventory, resources, money, melk coins, etc.
so each time you'll be starting from nothing.
thanks for the tip, ill have to gind a good hsword/thammer. for the best result would heavy attacks be best when its activated? ive tried a tac axe and my go to devil claw and can almost get there with just lights
a single charged heavy attack on a boss is all it takes. no ifs, no buts. just 2 clicks and it's done.

not quite correct, some malice maps can yield up to 185.
also, for heresy to be the sweet spot you gotta have a decent premade team. otherwise you'll lose maps from time to time, which will slow down the income significantly.
diamantine will keep accumulating even from malice play.

i seem to have a problem where the game's environment is completely pitch black. i am only able to see name's of other players' character but nothing else.
i will try restarting the game, if that does not fix this idk what will since i already set the environment texture settings to low...

nope i changed it to max now and i still cant see anything, looks like something has to be wrong with how the game renders things since i see and can use the UI interfaces (including the player nametags), the actual terrain and overall models are literally impossible to see even in character selection menu...

How is this for a MG XII?
not a fan of Infernus and you obviously want to reroll +stamina but the rest is really good
ammo is not the greatest either but the XII is really ammo efficient to begin with
Good offensive stats, very poor ammo (ammo pickups are based on your total ammo as I understand it, so you get less out of them on top of a smaller reserve), good perks if you reroll stamina, absolute dog blessings for the xii. Falter adds no damage, and infernus is awful on high damage, low fire rate guns.
What are some good blessings for the XII for reference?

a salvo is "until your weapons recoil has properly reset"
so if you shoot faster than your recoil resets you never leave the "first" salvo
i think opening salvo is only really worth it on the guns that have really fast recoil reset

Oh yeah. Main reason I am married to the MG XII as my dmr-style weapon is because you have a blank check for your reserves and clip

The "Just a Flesh Wound" penance also had some bugs where you didn't need to finish the complete mission but that was patched even a while back, so I'd play it safer than sorry. Especially if you are bringing weapons to complete the penance that you otherwise don't want to/like to use

The big power rating up there does matter a little, but only as a quick summary. For the most part it’s sort of like a general indicator, but looking at the actual stats and blessings is much more useful.
@grand flint besides the armor pen buff they fixed power so it effects cleave and stagger so with the right blessing like thrust Thammer (and heavy sword) cleave and stagger a ton more

none that i've seen. but it's not rocket science. just remember to never shoot altfire on high heat, and that's about it.

i love plasma gun dearly, it's probably my most played vet gun, but compared to things like k12, mk1 iag, or agri braced it is really limited, unfortunately.
with those guns you can use a single continous ult to clear however screenfuls of shooters game wants to throw at ya. they'll just keep coming and instantly dying.
a plasma gun, even with careful underventing, will take a while to do that.
the above guns also clear elites and specials better than the plasma

- when does it 'kick in' ? coherence? psyker-quell? just-passive?
- what is the toughness-regen-bug. It's fixed now right?
- as far as i'm aware, coherence only, but that does stack with lynchpin ogryn feat.
- yes, as of this week it's fixed, and, in fact, made quite powerful. arguably, one of the strongest curio mods.
I have good levels of Toughness Regen atm.
But sometimes I notice 'health' chip-damange: do some weapons do Health Damage that bypass toughness?
(I should notice .. but in the panic of battle, I don't notice things)
nothing specific. i mean, any melee attack does, if you're not at 100% toughness, so getting hit twice in a short time will get you chipped.
also dog pounce applies instant 1 health damage to everyone close by.
but in vast majority of cases health chipping is due to 2+ melee dudes hitting in unison.
fall damage bypasses toughness. but you say dog-pounce AOE too

no, mutie slam into the wall does nothing at all. only when he has the space to triple-dunk.
i'm pretty sure that pushback to clear space for climbing specials doesn't do any damage whatsoever.
today mutie and snipers tried to destroty my pennance run.
- joined game, spawn in middle of fight, mutie threw me through a wall .. through a map .. instadeath(falling falling falling).
- sniper shot me off ledge (had resistance but was hanging on ledge)... ... .. but sniper proceeded to shoot me anothre 3 times while I was hanging there.

as a veteran often stopping power doesn't matter too much cause active ability kills the bigguns quickly
Id say depends on the weapon. Cause weapons like the lasgun 12 can hit a one shot breakpoint against all shooters with high stopping power and decent damage
and even if it doesnt but is close, you can roll a flak armor damage perk
so one shots without the use of volley fire
sure I have other guns for other usages like lasgun, charge gun, shotgun, plasma gun
shotgun has the best stopping power, plasma gun has the best killing power
stopping power? Like stagger/suppression?
also the breakpoints do matter quite a bit when we talk about weapon stats. For example, you can use the plasma gun to kill ogryns and maulers yes but its efficiency does matter
higher damage (78% - 80%?) on plasma allows you to hit the breakpoint of one shotting ogryns with full charge headshot (i forgot about carapace for crushers i think it takes 2 or something)
but that might not happen if your stats are moved around
green headhunter is one of the worst guns in the game. you can run it yourself to make sure, but don't spend melk coins for it.
i mean the one that's agri pattern. both vraks hh guns, light and heavy, are somewhat alright. not as good as infantry autoguns, but workable.

If you have a 3060, the GPU isn't your problem.
After some decent testing, the toughness regen speed -after- fix is a very solid option for veteran.

depends on what you consider bugged. it doesn't work, yes, but it's quite by design. also requirements description is crap. mutie doesn't have to be charging, you do.
and the attack (and, correspondingly, the target death) gotta happen during your charge, not after.
It just doesn't seem to be proccing
so it's easiest to do with a combat axe or a thammer.
I wonder if the delay of the chainsword heavy is registering it as after the charge?
chain weapons stick to the target during the charge, but by the time mutie died charge is long gone.

The veteran first feat 'passive' called At Arms Length also has a missing block on the icon. I do know that when the required criteria is not met, the entire icon darkens to the same shade as the missing block. Perhaps it is meant to give the difference between procced vs un procced.
So the missions at Sire Melk : when you go to the mission menu in his "shop" it only shows available missions to replace your current mission.
QUESTION : So where do you see your CURRENT Sire Melk mission? Or did the devs forget to put that very obvious feature in the game?

Clicking on one selects it, allowing you to view the specific completion value and replace it with a new, random, contract.
You don't get to pick a task, you get to replace your current tasks with a random one.

Active or current doesnt matter, ghulda, since you do not need to select a contract before a game to have it register in sire melks, you can simply go play any games and if you fulfill any of the conditions in the game like scrips or grims that happens to be a part of your weeklies the game will automatically update it for you

you find those resources just laying around in all corners and yellow crates on the map itself. it's not a guaranteed drop.
they spawn in larger quantities on higher difficulties, especially diamantine. if you want to speed up their farm, just play the game as usual, but also learn to quickly check all the side passages for drops. otherwise you'll miss like half of the amount.
every bit you pick up counts for the whole team.

ragers are extremely unpleasant in melee, regardless of your weapon. i think that with thammer your best bet is to backdodge while prepping the charged strike, then blast him with the light attack. it does less damage, but it's faster, and it bonks him straight down, much less likely to catch a stray zombie instead. it won't kill him in one shot, but should stun him for long enough to follow up with whatever.
hmm. ramped up heavies might knock them down too, then it's not a problem either way.
but it might depend on what feats and blessings you use.
How do people seem to dodge with like no effort constantly
I spam ASD and spacebar and I just end up bunny hopping after 1 dodge and get messed up

for starters, i'd recommend binding jump and dodge to different buttons. also dodge efficiency is largely dependant on the weapon. the heavier it is, the fewer dodges you can make in a row, and the shorter each one is.

I read some Damnation player in here saying to put crouch and dodge on the same button. I did that and now I feel much more mobile.
dodge sliding also works, but i'm not sure about forcing it by double bind. might be better to leave it separate and use when necessary.

For now I just moved jump to B and put on the option for stationary dodge
it takes longer to perform and throws your vertical aim off. i dodge all the time during melee, like side to side between swings, to avoid retaliation. and it's seamless, doesn't break attack chains. adding a slide to that would be quite excessive. but more sweaty and progamey people might have a different opinion, sure enough.

dodge-slide is a way to gain distance instantly, to reposition. but for mid-brawl technique i don't think it's worth it.

Imagine the enem(ies) you're fighting is the central pivot and you are basically spinning around them like a rotorblade, visualize that you have to keep the same distance away from that centre at all times and you're always X distance continuing to rotate relative to that imaginary centre, alternatively just think of the marching footwork where you can either put your left foot forward or your right foot forward but not both and this can help you establish an internal rhythm

also try not to dodge too often too fast. you'll exhaust dodge limit of your weapon and gonna have to take some time to cool down. i think it's like a couple of seconds.

the knife playstyle is flashy and super fast, and extremely durable while the crit protection is up, but kinda pointless because it doesn't kill that much. evi, on the other hand, kills amazingly well. especially with any sort of cleave blessing.
so it's more of a novelty and a workout for the left mouse finger rather than a serious tryhard build.

it's the worst penance in the game. you really need a premade team and a high intensity map, ideally damnation, where y'all will clear most enemies but leave ogryns alive, and kite them towards the next encounter in hopes of accumulating 6 dudes total.

What gear scores should one have before taking on level 2, 3 and 4 missions
Gearscore doesn’t work the same way in this game, it’s more about player skill and your build, 2s aren’t that different from 1s, you can do it once you’re lvl 5 and get your first feat, 3s are fine by the time you’re 15 or so, but you should be 30 with a good understanding of your weapons before you try pushing 4s, the jump over 3s is significant
Like a 50% damage grey weapon with 200 gear score does the exact same damage as a 50% damage orange weapon with 500 gear score, all things being equal, the gear score just represents more stats, perks, and blessings, not raw power
if you have at least some shooter, or better yet, vermintide experience, you can start with lvl 2 missions, without touching the first difficulty. at about lvl 15 you can maybe start trying diff 3, but it'll be largely a matter of getting carried by a couple of elder teammates. and 4 is viable only after the full build and extensive experience with combat mechanics.
I'm currently working on a lvl 13 Psyker, level 1's seemed too easy regardless of group comp, but the groups I've been in the last 5 missions, we've failed 4 of them. It's more then possible that I just suck at this, but on the same token, every time though, there's at least one person at like level 2 or 3 person in the group, and it seems like they are the ones who are going down a lot. Which causes me to die when I try go to revive them.

ye, team component in darktide is very strong. your success depends heavily on performance of others, and that is something you can't control. might get frustrating at times.

As far as I know the number under primary action is the damage number for the primary attack (Default left click for mouse and keyboard) But I guess with that item your only doing 35% and 27% of that damage number based on the damage modifier

- good mobility weapon, dodge & block and pray you have enough dps, otherwise let it kill 2 guys and go revive

Rookie here: Any tips for avoiding Daemonhosts? I've learned they're triggered and incredibly hard to put down before they incapacitate someone but don't know exactly triggers them. Except for I assume shooting them.
I think shining flashlights at them also wakes them up. To avoid them: listen for the creepy girl voice, look for a fog cloud and green area lighting
Helpful teammates may tag them yellow, or use the 👁️ tag
You can also listen for the character voice lines, but usually they lag behind the gameplay a bit
This is why you should not (in my opinion) double-bind “tag” and “primary attack”
Once you get more familiar with the levels, you will know the paths that go around them. Until then, you could try asking for directions for the safe bypass, and someone ought to drop a “Go There” tag

Just to let you know only cloud, ammo and burn matter.
Damage does nothing but the initial 16 primary/secondary action damage and all damage x enemies only apply to the P/S action so it's worthless.
Burn stacks are the only thing that do real damage and they can't really be buffed

Blessings irrelevant on flamer, they're barely gonna affect combat, only Cloud Radius and Burn are significant wished they were both in the 70s

heavy 1 is your main clear. to chain it, reset with push-stab. simple block cancel also works. or heavy-light loop for as long as you want. some sort of cleave buff is pretty much a necessity. that's it.

I suppose I was one of the guys that had the tougness speed boost bug that got fixed. It felt like a nerf to me. Regardless I'll continue testing. So far for vet my studies have put BiS +toughness for blessing with perks: +%MaxHP, +%MaxToughness, +%ToughnessRegenSpeed... The third obviously being the 'still in testing' phase.
Those curios are stackable for best results. Scalable for 1-5 diff.
+90% higher toughness coherency regeneration and ~50% delay decrease is way more significant than what the alternatives offer

So from my understanding, feats that passively regenerate toughness such as 'At Arms Length' for vet benefit from the Tough Regen speed as well.

They function separately and aren't affected by these changes. That specific one may pause the regen you get from coherency though
I'm not entirely sure if everything works like this, but generally gaining toughness from other sources pauses the coherency regen
Hrm... I did not know that feat tough regen was not affected by the curio perk line. I do believe that drops the toughness regen curio perkline down the ranking considerably.
For the veteran, that is. Granted divergent playstyles such as combat shotgun and mid-close range weaponry can benefit from coherency. Backline support with the standard xii leaves the curio tough regen speed as situational at best.

We're getting a little bit into 'playstyle' differences. But from my experiences the backline is not usually in the normal radius of coherency while conducting overwatch support.
With that being said, the toughness regen only affecting coherency drops the value substantially.

Are you queuing with randoms via matchmaking? If so, yes its going to be tough. However finding premade lvl 5 groups in the lfg channels here is quite easy. Ive never had a problem finding groups via discord
Matchmaking works generally well for 1-4s. 5's are premades domain for sure.

i have a problem regarding what i assume is about the shaders:
i had to swap my NVIDIA graphics card (do not remember the specific version) for an older one because my original one made too much noise, then i log into darktide and suddenly i realize that everything is literally pitch-black, but i can still load into the game...
how can i safely empty the shader cache to have the game rebuild it? i want to see if that fixes the problem. also i get absolutely no error messages so everything is fine on that part.

How do you beat that stupid fk demon if you don't have a shield, I tried dodging with zealot and its hard
It’s not easy. It requires your teammates to coordinate too, and it helps to have more stamina (from curios) and mobility (on your melee weapon). I hear that dodging around cover and obstacles helps
But if your squad mates don’t pour on the DPS, it’s not gonna happen
Maximizing DPS among the three other players is critical. Obviously, me suggesting to leave the DH alone defeats the purpose of the question. But, if you have to fight a DH, your best chance is to trigger/attack the DH deliberately.
If the DH triggers off of a teammate's mistake the best thing to do is simply let that teammate die. If your group is not positioned in a way to maximize dps before that first targeted player is killed then the DH will attack a 2nd attacking party member potentially costing you half your group for one person's mistake.
From my experiences, (yes, I have accidently triggered a DH) if the DH is inadvertently pulled, I quickly inform my team to simply let me die and pick me up on along the way. This minimizes risk of a party wipe due to horde/specialist spawn during the DH fight or two teammates getting killed for the price of one.
However, if you're deliberately attacking the DH, try to make sure the surrounding area is clear of all other threats (horde/specialists/elites, etc) and clearly communicate who is initiating the DH fight. He that wakes it, tanks it. You've mentioned an ogyrn shield hunker tactic which is very effective. There is also the psyker blocking for peril tanking strategy that is also effective. Simply using the 5 D's of Dodgeball can work as well however it is much more difficult to scoot around the DH as opposed to a Plague Ogryn or Beast of Nurgle.
There are definitely more techniques for the DH than the few I've listed above. Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks I only play quickplay and usually its the randoms that trigger it, i saw someone post a video of dodging the DH's attack so I wanted to try it out and its actually hard dodging it. Maybe I'll practice dodging it more in the future but that guy made it look easier than it really is

Fighting DH's in 4's/5's difficulty isn't really a thing. Its not a skill that is a match-breaker.

I wouldn't say its 'unkillable' but most certainly created to punish unaware players. The strongest tool in the DH's toolbox is that of surprise. A prepared group handles the DH with high success rates.

Post an advert in the LFG section stating what you're looking for help for has always worked for me in the past.
DH attack pattern is very simple with almost 0 variation
Position DH in front of you and watch which side it lunges forward to first
Then step forward to the opposite side
repeat ad infinitum
If left, start right, if right, start left
Left and right and left and right, you will obviously take corruption dmg which is unavoidable but you can go hitless

For me it's an opposite experience, I've been finding heresy easier since before the patch to the point where it's become my default instead of malice and even feel comfortable doing damnation pubs now, perhaps you're just being unlucky with your teams?
Very good axe, now reroll 8% melee to 25% bonus vs flak and you've got yourself a Damnation-ready melee
Do not consecrate to Gold lest you risk rolling into Limbsplitter and dooming the entire weapon
Infested covers only Pox Hounds and Pox walkers which is a very small number of enemy encounters whereas more than 70% of all enemies in DT wear some form of flak so rolling into bonus vs flak gives your axe more utility in a much larger number of scenarios
For reference the 'ideal' melee weapon will come with either bonus vs flak or bonus vs maniac (mutants, tox & scab flamers, ragers, trappers..) allowing you to reroll the 2nd perk into whichever you didn't get
That in combination with Brutal Momentum (best Blessing on antax v) turns your single target strikedown weapon into a mixed-horde blender and you can approach all enemy compositions without braincells involved 
Just enough brain cells to hit them heads ;)

I recommend using Malice or lower games to practise it since I noticed that Malice and below games have a tendency to spawn one or multiple disablers during the duration of you engaging the DH which is basically a clusterfuck to dodge in and can train you to better perform in heresy+ dodging minigames

Maybe a horde but hordes are the least of your concerns up there

Question about the deadeye penance for the vet, if I take the perk that highlights all shooters, does that mean I can kill 5 of them, or does it still have to be all elites?
it works on shooters, yes. but more importantly, it doesn't require you to kill anything, just hit 5 weak spots.
meaning, get a beast of nurgle and unload anything fast firing at its back spot.
unless i'm confusing it with some other penance, of course, but anyway counterfire is the best thing about vet and it should be taken all the time.
Ended up getting it off of switching to counterfire and to a different gun. I believe you were mixing up the earlier weakspot one with deadeye which is get 5 weakspot kills in one use of the F.

they changed the regen values on toughness regen perk with the most recent patch
Previously T3 regen was 15%, T4 was 20%, now T3 is 22.5%, T3 is 30% regen
It's overall a buff to toughness regen speed

flak or maniac are the best % damage bonus rolls you can get on majority of melee weapons but you probably don't want to be in cqb with ragers or mutants as a vet so the flak bonus will help you handle those jacketed flak dudes better or scab shooters (the green goggly eyed men) is my line of thinking

it's pure random. just play a bit more, you'll get them. it's a team contract too, so you don't have to do anything personally, it'll count.

hey all im kinda new to the game i do have a level 18 veteran but i was just wondering what the suggested character level per area difficulty is. ive been on uprising now for a bit and i personally think im jus about ready for malice (i think it is?) if not am. i just dont wanna get my team killed cuz im under leveled.
you can try malice, sure. you will get wrecked, of course, but it's only natural.
the outcome will largely depend on whether or not you'll get a couple of experienced dudes in the team.
but it's way more fun there in any case.

I'm playing Zealot Priest, which weapon on this class will make this count increase

Hi I need some advice, as a veteran player how do I kill those big armored guys with the shield one on one. We're at the end wave stage and 3+ armored shield guys wiped my team and I tried running circles but after a while I got hit in the back

i tend to always use stagger on them, as long as theyre off balance their head is open, but that does require an ogryn or thunder hammer or something else with real high stagger/impact/whateverweirdstat

@crisp tree nah, we occasionally get a player from my friend's country but it's so rare. We're alone 95% of the time but when I'm solo it's an immediate fill. Maybe region lock, thanks for the idea though!
Anyone knows how damage to the player work ? Distribution between HP and tougness, I cant figure out when an attack will damage my hp or my toughness only
For ranged attacks, toughness will soak the damage before you take any health damage. If you do not have enough toughness to completely soak up a ranged shot, the remaining damage goes to your HP.
For melee attacks, toughness acts as a damage reduction modifier based on the percentage of toughness you have. Let's say you're a Veteran with 241 Max Toughness. If you currently have 210 toughness, the next melee hit will deal 87% damage (210/241).
Basically, if you're at 100% toughness, a melee attack will not damage your HP. The lower your toughness (percentage-wise), the more damage will bleed through to your HP.

I bought this weapon for my sharpshooter this morning. Is the 363 power enough to main this ? Should I upgrade to another perk and if so what should I ensure the second perk is by changing it. I just want a good main side
As Sean said, 363 base rating is incredibly sexy and that blessing is decent, the perk looks kinda dodgy here tho so I'd recommend to consecrate it one more time and if you land on a bonus vs damage type 2nd perk, then it's salvageable and you can reroll your 8% melee crit to 25% bonus vs Flak or Maniac if you don't wanna keep it
If it doesn't roll into a bonus vs dmg type 2nd perk but something like Sprint Speed or Block efficiency then the sword is doomed
That's the gamble, now's your call
i'd say install web shop extension and just F5 it for a couple of days. chances are, you'll find a better one for free.

is +3 rending better than 55% penetration?
Penetration % depends on the weapon. The % you get on the stat bar doesn't mean anything on it's own, you need to look at the values in there. This is for a power sword right?
gotcha. Well first things first, Rending is applied when you hit the target with the weapon. So it has no effect on your first hit, just any damage to the target (from you or allies) after you hit it.
Penetration determines your effectiveness against the different armor types. So rending is basically a modifier to penetration
so the one on the left is objectively better?
That's where it gets tricky. Each of those stat bars is a grouping, that represents anywhere from 2-8 different stats. If you mouse over the penetration (blast) stat in the detailed weapon view, you'll see this:
55% on the penetration stat gives you: 78% flak armor damage, 103% stagger vs flak, and 103% carapace
So on this gun, rending provides almost no bonus to YOU. but it will benefit your allies
No, those numbers don't take rending into consideration. Any benefits from perks or blessings are not shown in the weapon stats and damage table. Rending affects your follow up shots. So if you hit a mauler with flak armor, your first shot will only do 78% damage. +3 rending reduces its armor coverage by 15%, (15% of your damage ignores armor), so your followup shot will do 81% damage. Third shot will do 85% damage, etc. Since your armor pen is already pretty high, the rending doesn't do much for you
but your ally shooting it with a lasgun with 20% armor pen, that rending makes a big difference. that would be a 60% damage boost after you hit it

Accordiing to this post, "+Rending" and "Brittleness%" apply brittleness (enemy debuff). "Rending%" is the self-buff.

The two optimal maps to attempt fleshwound on are the assassination on obliette and hab dreyko investigation
If possible, get a premade (or two) so you can speedrun it when it rotates and even better if the low intensity modifier is on for those maps
And then you just blitz your way through, don't stop for anything
Granted, it is one of the hardest penances in the game
For Curios, is there must have blessings outside of Damage Resist for X?
Curious if things like Toughness regen make a huge difference
Curios are one of the more flexible things in a build. You'll probably get different answers from different people depending on their playstyle.
For me, I pretty much only use my melee, so I prioritize stamina regen, sprint eff, and block eff. My main source of toughness is from melee kills or quelling, so I don't need toughness regen.
So "it depends" is the answer I'm going to give you. You'll probably want to talk about your class and playstyle for more specific answers.
That's fair. I mainly focus on melee myself and provide support on sticky or hard to reach targets via my MGXII or Bolter. It helps alot for clutching having strong answers to hordes in melee with the Brutal Momentum Axe and then having longer ranged options or heavy options in my ranged slot. I thought of having a higher Toughness Regen so that coherency-based defense moments are easier to bounce back in but I'm on the fense. Currently have been just running hodge podge Damage Resistances on things like Gunners n' such to provide generic 'always-up' bonuses
Block Efficiency is one I am definitely looking into adding to my curios so that I can spam more block smacks with it

That's the final hurdle for Zealots
FYI, block efficiency only affects stamina damage taken while blocking an attack. It won't affect the cost of pushes. A big reason why I run block eff is because I use a melee with only three stamina bars, and block-cancelling is part of the combo so a stray melee hit can guardbreak me and stun me for a second. Block eff is still nice to get an extra buffer for reviving.
Gunner Damage resistance also only affects the elites--the Gunners (with the ammo backpack) and Reapers (Ogryn shooter) that show up on the top-left of your screen when you kill them. I personally find the damage resistance perks to be a bit too situational.
Toughness regen is nice if you're poking at ranged enemies with your team, and your class' toughness feat isn't helping (such as if you're running the +50% toughness on elite kill, but there aren't any elites around). Personally, I break coherency a lot, so it wouldn't help me much, but that might be different for you.
Out of the available perks, the perks I consider to be "always useful" are:
- Health
- Toughness
- Toughness Regen (Coherency)
- Combat Ability Regen
- Stamina Regen
- Block eff
- Sprint eff
Maybe it'll help with your decision making to look at the list of possible curio perks so that your mind doesn't float around too much

In my curios, I consider Sprint Eff to be my flex slot. I might swap it out for combat ability regen or toughness if I feel like grinding for them.
of course, that's only my opinion; you could probably ask again at a different time once more people are on and whatnot
Another thing to keep in mind is that I'm a Psyker, so I have a pretty much consistent source of toughness regen from my feats. I can break Coherency and survive perfectly fine because of my feats.
I think I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I think Gunner Damage Resist is still really nice to deal with if you are out of coherency and need to rush back while under fire. It tends to be that Gunners spawning in remind me that the power of friendship is useful and I fold back in before I take real damage. But besides that I am likely going to look into Block/Stam perks and then fill with a couple Damage Resists. I do really like your point with Tough Regen being great for shooters in coherency, since on my Vet I find myself always bleeding toughness faster than I can get it back through headshots and ambient regn
Yup. Mainly play Zealot so Toughness Regen doesn't quite strike much resonance with me since I spam my ability as a heal option when needed
since you're presumably running the +10% toughness on weakspot kill; did they fix the feat? Last time I ran Veteran (like 1-2 months ago), the feat was broken for me and didn't work at all
They may have? I swap between that and the on-elite-kill one and I'm perpetually unimpressed lol

There are suppression-related blessings on weapons like the braced autogun and the shotgun that makes enemies in 5-6-7-8 metres radius around you get suppressed upon a close range kill
So if you kill a poxwalker in the middle of a horde it's like a very short stun effect for that entire area of the crowd
Poxwalkers can't get suppressed, groaners can though
