@next geode VC works for me but rarely used by teammates. @uneven swift Quickplay is an option to join a random mission at a difficulty level you choose if not picky about certain maps you want to play.

Cosmetics are account-wide so you still have them if you delete a character and make a new one, but specific cosmetics fit with specific classes. (e.g. Soldier helmets for Sharpshooter).

Yeah, the one with the Assassin stat type. It's extremely fast and has high Crit chance. As Zealot, levels 5 and 10 give you two very good Feats that synergize with Crits. It can make the zealot obscenely tanky. Ideally, you want a dagger with Lacerate on it as a Perk.

the single mission speedrun WR right now is like 8 minutes, but you can also survive for 8 minutes while at low health (you don't need to be downed to be at 1 wound) and die to "complete" the mission. Might have been patched though

Item level is determined mainly by player level. You want to obtain high stat roll Grey items at max level as the overall stat pool isnt taken up by perks and blessings.

Once you get a good high stat roll its now up to luck until they unlock the rest of crafting, taking it up to mastercraft hoping you get good perks.

Yeah you can get a low level mastercraft if you arent 30. By the time you get there it wont be worth. The overall item level constitutes the items stat pool. The higher that base on a grey is the stronger it is.

i have 5900, 3080 12GB, 32GB RAM (3200mhz) and i downloaded the game on an SSD.

i have the game set on pretty much lowest settings possible (mind FedilityFX ting is on quality, btw having DLSS wont change nothing) and my fps is usually high 120fps - 40/50fps on some maps. its never consistently above 70-80.

Hey guys, I logged in for the first since PO beta ended and got that spam of "items acquired" which went on for a minute or so, but I only found the 4 helmets for each class and that keychain for weapons. What else was acquired in that spam?

Hey, I am having an issue where the game doesn't launch. It just gives me a crash report whenever i try to start the game via the launcher. The game worked fine during the pre-patch for me and I could start it without issue, tho I had windows 10 then. (I have 11 now)
I have verified the files, reinstalled the game, removed the appdata for darktide, my drivers are up to date, i've even checked if the .NET framework isn't working in some way and it seems fine but still it just crashes. Not sure if this is the right channel but is this a known issue? Can't find anything on the forums

Tbh the tactical axes are better as backups, they are focused on fast single target dps.

For someone like the zealot you are just naturally going to get more out of the thunder hammer if you want single target. As it does have two heavy cleaving hits that are needed for a melee class to be well equiped to deal with hordes

Taking that one zealot makes you a bootleg vet, you'd wanna run in and take out the scary stuff as fast as possible

in VT2 the light attacks were your single target AP moves and the heavies were your wide sweeping horde clear moves, now the light attacks do literally 2 damage to carapace armor and the heavies barely do more

the damage is awful, the dodges are awful

the only thing going for it is the charge mechanic, but it's about as powerful as the charge mechanic on the chain weapons while being inferior in every other regard

Also, while I am pretty bad, I'm surprised how easy people are finding 4's. I have yet to beat one, yet people have been doing 5's with worse equipment than mine, it's a tad discouraging 😜

Second biggest is paying more attention to audio cues for people behind me. I'm just hacking away at a mob and suddenly I am dead from not noticing the 3 guys who somehow snuck behind me.

I can't find them either. They were more than lore, they were actually really useful to get a sense of the difference between ranged weapon variants in particular. Like the ogryn ripper guns, it said that one had tighter spread. But that info isnt available anywhere in weapon stats.

The tutorial is surprisingly terrible at this. Sprinting may evade gunfire if you're running perpendicular to the enemy fire, that is, from cover to cover. To evade them when sprinting towards them, press crouch (which still holding the sprint key) as soon as you see their weapon glow.
It works most of the time. Unlike cover.

Well, they aren't always broken.
But, f.Ex., bleed is pretty subpar right now, crit blessings can rarely appear on weapons that just can't, and you get bonuses like "+x% crit chance per empty chamber" on non-revolvers, or salvo-bonuses on single-fire weapons.

If there is a secondary mission, it should be at the top corner under the primary. The only secondaries available right now are "find scriptures" and "find grimoires". The latter have a green glow and corrupt your health when you carry them.

I don't understand the point of the crafting system at all then. Yes, the stats on a gun don't make much of a difference. But lets be honest, everyone would like to have a high base weapon, or max even. So, eventually, when this game releases content, the power level may increase.
