They do different things. Most Swords and the shovel are good crowd control, axes, the dueling sword, and the combat knife are good single target weapons. The hammer is kinda like a bit of both, the chain sword is pretty good against elite enemies if u use the alt fire to actually turn it on, the power sword slaps everything and is god tier.

Tbh a lot of the higher levels is just about sticking together and checking behind you ever now and then. As well as having a teammate with a super high damage weapon for taking down elite enemies. I’ve been able to do level 3s and level 4s pretty consistently that way
3's are the cakewalk. 4 is that learning curve for real!
Yea 3s we’re tougher at lower levels cuz you and your friends tend to get over confident and spread out to much
But I remember being in a random lobby and we were all level 30. And all stuck together super close the whole time. Makes every mission easy
I honestly want to know how you did that. It would be nice to have decent frames during a horde, or in the smelter mission.
I am certainly going to add my voice to the cacophony calling the abhor the mutant penance just plain annoying due to the timing required.
Do developer intend to make game run better? I do not intend to upgrade my computer
¨late answer, but its very, VERY rng. I got a master-crafted (yellow) curio once, and i think a purple once or twice, but other than that, nothing good
do i buy, it has infernus, damage bar seems low though
has good perks however... idk
stopping power is decent, good for armor i assume (havent played vet)
got 10 hours to decide i guess
I dont think it has enough rof to justify infernus on it
By the time you stack the burn the target has been long dead
sweet
are there no head cosmetics in the armoury at all?
There are, you need to level up more though
what's the req?
why waste money on buying stuff under 500 rating? I mean if it's for gold sure but I guess it's the weekly one
yeah it's the weekly
is there any place to see what things do like 'Finesse'?
cosmetics are for the items you unlock through penances btw
psyker penanses are bullshit
and I saw some pople having 500+
im pretty sure finesse is a damage multiplier on weakspots
do i need to buy a previous item to get a newer one? cuz im lvl 30 and i still dont see the flamer staff
no you don't
no, the items rotate each 1 hour, so theres chances you wont see it cuz of rng
I got flamer staff on lvl 16
nm, just got it 😄
lol
Guide for new players and veterans alike explaining how weapon stats and stat bars work and how damage is calculated. B
HUGE thanks to Manshanko (who helped me with too many things to name), to CommissarTyr for his excellent armor type representations and more.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkTide/comments/z2pn4t/enemy_breed_armour_types_and_loca...
Does this apply to a heavy attack while revved?
No way to climb above 410 unless it's from the Requisitorium or an Emperors Gift. Actually you can do it with Crafting, now that I think about it.
i got 430 from the shop
Does warp absorption not work properly? I am not getting any toughness from my flamer staff
Yes, if you just Heavy attack when you rev your weapon up, it might only affect the first hit.
Not sure on that bit
As far as I know yes, because for example meleeing with ogryn weapons is considered a heavy melee hit even if not charged, but that could be ogryn exclusive
consignment yard, defend the supply train - is it bugged we seem to be stuck on this objective>?
If I would do this, will the stats remain unchanged?
It will literally only just add the extra property and slightly increase power rating right?
I just completed it without issue, what's the problem?
Nevermind, it just completed. There was no indication of time or anything
we were just stood around waiting for nothing it seems :p
I think you have to clear enemies, idk
Done it twice and we always found a couple dudes hiding in annoying spots
ah ok
If you're talking about the finale, I was also complainign the finale is boring compared to other maps
Question for Psykers on T4/5 difficulty - what setup are you having the most success with in pubs? what role are you focusing on most?
It will just add the extra property. The extra rating is to pay for that property. Weapon rating is really just the currency with which a weapon's stats are rolled.
As for Psyker: I wish there was either a weapon, say, an smg, or a feat that allowed a psyker to get kinetic force projectiles when firing the gun while aiming. Could be miniscule damage, just extra suppression and some option for a psyker to get some better value out of guns. Well, or a bolt-staff equivalent, but I'll sound like a broken record.
Is there a server issue? Every game i enter i get disconnected 😑
For a game thats coming out in a few days this is rlly disappointing to me…
Anyone else getting mission aborted on results screen, giving no rewards?
Happened on the new map
Possible? It's usually individual user problems, but the game's been really laggy today.
I've had the usual, input delays, enemies taking damage from further way than they should or dying with a half second delay, but today, I managed to try swapping to melee, ineffectually clicking the mouse several times while nothing happened and I was still in ranged mode, and then suddenly an enemy's head fell off as the server had clearly processed the switch command, but never bothered telling the client.
But then again, I also had poor performance today. Worse than usual, I mean.
Reasonably happy with this one - what other perks should i potentially re-roll for once it becomes possible?
momentum got to be bis tho
I don't know how many other builds they could fall back on, but judging by how they are updating it makes me think that this is the most "stable" build they have.
is this good?
a bit unfortunate on the perks there, i would save my money for something else if i were you
ok thanks 🙂
I wouldn't necessarily be down about that piece. Thats a master crafted braced autogun. There are a few folks who swear by braced autoguns.
Reload speed perks can be stacked with 'tactical reload' and 'one after another' feat to get goofy reload times.
personally I love bolt gun but just wanted to check if its worth it
You mean the bolter?
yes
The bolter is 10/10 my favourite, and I am DEEPLY excited to get one with some top end perks
The picture you posted was an autogun, not a bolter. Unless I am missing something?
yes thats what I mean, normally I use bolter but saw this braced autogun so wanted to check if its good
some orgrins whant to farm bowling achivments?
Anyone willing to help me complete the on overwatch penance? Or any tips
Is it just me or does consecrating a weapon not actually improve the stats (damage, mobility, stability etc)?
do what?
Just tried it with my Lasgun, which went from a 406 rating to 431, and none of the stats changed
I think hedge implied the meatgrinder is bugged if youre seeing the same numbers all the time
is there a list of all mission types? just so i know for the penance
The sharpshooter take no melee damage on a 3+ difficulty during a mission
Oh shit. how difficult.
there is a cheese way though
I really feel like there's some sorta level matchmaking. My level 13 Ogryn don't get queued with 25+. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
Start a game with friends, then either kill your self and have your friends not rescue you, or alt+f4 and reconnect at the end when they're infront of evac point
Or just play the game and eventually you'll get it by chance
Don't have friends thats why I am on discord lol
Damn lol
🥲
that is useless, the chain axe heavies have no use whatsoever
Do you get more materials in higher levels or is it just the same for every one
Seemingly the same
In which case I'm spamming out level 1s then haha
True. I figured it would work decent with a revved heavy but the difference is negligible. A shame!
Hop into one of the discord vc's below (with 3 or less people) and ask if they need another person
You get rarer material the higher up in dif you go.
I've run 2/3/4 and they all seemed about the same on average
Ah you get more Amazon boxes at higher levels, but the same tins of beans regardless?
Not saying you're wrong, might have just had rubbish luck
Referencing the dev post and my own experiences, higher difficulties give you higher grade mats. I have more rare mats than I do common.
what about gear drops? do they also increase? you get no gear at all
Anyone willing to group/help for psyker cliffhanger penance?
Not saying they drop 'more', just different.
Legit I'll get like 1 item every 8-10 wins
And it'll be like a grey lasgun
Best bet is to check the store every hour. Emperor's Gift cant be relied upon. I've gotten grey crap gear the majority of the time.
Love how this is the third update and FPS cap still gets reset every time you open the game
Feel that should be a 10 second fix
To be fair though, Ray Tracing has always halved your FPS in any game haha
worth taking a hit on damage for impact traits? https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/704325142939041884/1045704398740930670/image.png?width=1204&height=677
Can someone pls explain to me, how to get penance for zealot on heresy (chest) ? Ppl say just get low for 5-7 mins and then die
But i guess i need to have only 1 wound left right ?
not just to be low
Seems OP to me, and realistically that bar could mean anything. It could be literally 1 damage less, who knows
Just been watching that stat breakdown video above, kinda enlightening. Also kinda scary
yeah really need the detailed stats
So, since the last update I've noticed that some people (myself included) runs off to look for crafting material in loot boxes and whatnot taking away a bit of the focus from battle and also splitting up the squad. I think we would be better off if we gained crafting materials as mission rewards instead of loot. What do you guys think?
If I'm understanding the breakdown right.. Thunder Hammer seems good versus flak and carapace, especially if you hit those heavily armoured units first. Also good for staggering that enemy also. Also has better dodge and push capability.
I think enemies should drop them, and there should be minibosses that drop scriptures/grims
i like this idea
Having them randomly around the map is very counter intuitive to how they want you to play the game - as a team, together
i get that they want to use them to encourage people to explore the maps, but explor the map is sort of counter to stick together
What's worse is people running all the way back on maps to find items.
They could do all sorts, they could do like an "enemy surge" or something where you have to stand in a certain area for a time and you're rewarded a scripture or something
depends on how you look at it
And V2 had the loot rat, what happened to that concept
and V1
there should be grims and scrips seeded through the level and once you pick up two or w/e is needed of them the rest despawn, so you won't have to look so hard but they aren't handed to you either
anyone else's game textures look like that?
Ryzen 9 5950x
64GB ram
GeForece 3080
That works too, it just feels like they went for the easiest/quickest option. Hopefully they revisit it once the more important stuff is out the way
what does "torrent" mean on a gun?
super rapid fire
do u have it on SSD?
nice
yea
all textures load propertly when I start game, but as soon as I get into match it all get fucked up
anybody know why i cant concentrate a weapon?(I have the needed materials)
have u tried with minimum graphics?
bugged on zealot
great
actually no.
anyidea why i have to rebind middle mouse key after every login? any way to fix this?
try that and reinstalling/updating graphics drivers, can't think of anything else x)
sometimes it saves it, do it several times and eventually it'll save the settings
Looks like the low poly version like it might be a LOD issue or something weird lol
yeah, exackly...
My friend had a good bug where there was icons all over the map showing where items could spawn, made finding the grims much easier haha
can someone give me a good psyker build?
give me a second
ill pull mine up
tyty
This is what I use. Depending on your preference and build, I would tweak it.
essentially, I run what is a soulflame build
its all about applying as many stacks of soulflame to everything around you to get warp charges and do a ton of damage with ur ult
neat thanks
u also need the flamer staff
i was writing off soul flame a bit cuz it dosent seem to shine low lvl
but il get back on it
since that counts as soulflame
yeah its pretty strong
falme an entire horde and u get full stacks
and then alt as well and you get all those charges back
i see
yeah, i really dont do it anymore other than to get elites
i see
well F
since u have a chance to get warp charges from ur flames
but i guess il try it again with this build
u never run out of toughness
here is my vet for a trade
i use bolter and power sword
its essentially a speed reload
oh wait
my last perk is fucked cuz of a penance
Counterfire doesn't work though
what is the map to kill dregs melee?
Giving up alot of dmg not using sniper. And 10% toughness shooting at close range is more practical than target paint, imo.
Didn't they fix it in 1.08?
No they didn't
What ranged weapon?
Negative, still waiting.
Patch notes fake?
this is a bolter speed reload build
Can someone explain to me why 2 shotguns with the same damage card deal vastly different damage? 🤔
Don't change weapons in the meat grinder
Do I have to quit/rejoin the meat grinder to switch weapons?
Yes afaik
I disagree.
no you open the box next to the ammo and it opens the equip menu
Yes I know, but Guihelbie told me to not switch
The theorycrafting channel told me this, not super 100%
oh, idk
Quick ask.
Tips for a Plasma gun user (Vet)
Mainly tips with general use, like were to aim, when or when not to use charge shot.
You can bug it out with the level 30 perk that auto reloads your gun, if you reload (as it is removing the heat) you can pop ult to auto reload it and your shots no longer generate heat
Fun bug
@turbid dock I changed weapon outside the meat grinder, same. I don't get it.
Resets on reload
If we vets are doing our job right, we're situationed near the back of the group looking for targets of priority and listening for audio cues.
This allows At Arm's Length to proc continuously. It also continues to proc while we are taking ranged fire. When we are less than 8 meters from an enemy, we can switch into melee and get that 10% toughness boost with an ally in coherency.
After testing with sniper feat, the range vs reward is within the mid-range category. You don't have to be miles away to get maxed bonus, in fact it maxes out much closer than you would think.
Generating 10% toughness for allies is always fun and can help out. Just have to time/aim shots.
Fourth is preference. 5th comes down to whats broken and whats actually useable. Same thing with the 6th.
Ive seen a video of this, with freebird playing. looked super good.
lmao i almost do the same with Bolter. i can basically release 3 full mag of full auto if it glitches xD
So I've been trying to consecrate my Thunder Hammer and every time I do it, it says Unable to perform operation
Any ideas why? I got the materials needed for it but it won't do it
Mk12 seems like the best weapon all-round, no contest at all really
I like the MG XII, I really do. But right now the bolter just outperforms it without the glaring short comings of lasers plinking off carapace.
The ability to just -delete- a crusher off the map is.... (Any armored ogryn/monster really)
nice to have around.
do we have a chart of which weapons/weapontypes are effective against which armors?
True but ranged engagements are a pain, probably because I'm not level 30 yet, don't have the free reload talent
Bolter? More like problem solver
How the shit do i get long bomb, me want shoulder pads
Use grenades, aim high and just click instead of hold for a shorter throw
Sadly sniper is a noob-trap in my humble opinion, it makes people feel like they should play far, but for most weapons the damage falloff starts between 8 and 15 meters, so being at like 30-40 meters all it does is compensate for that falloff.
The reality is like you said, they still should stay within close proximity to the team and reinforces your point about sweetspot being midrange, even with that perk.
thanks honey ill shout you out when if i get it
At evacuation during finale, press G, tap mouse1 4 times while aiming at around 45degrees, profit
^ this also works
From my testing, the 20% extra damage compensates and exceeds. The 20% stops after a full 'meat grinders' circle away which is still relatively close to the target and hopefully the group.
should i be buying the highest available power rating items to increase the power rating of stock? or it doesnt work like that anymore?
Doesn't las have a reverse damage falloff?
I don't entirely agree with this, it mosly depends on what weapon you're using and how you adapt on each situation.
These are good tips for sure, except for 5th and 6th, you're wrong there. They maximise your personal build independently from being broken or not.
I only had a couple of games, but the carbine lazgun seemed even better, and i loved the mk12, It has zero recoil, but can still melt hordes and even close up elites. It's a little less efficient but again, zero recoil
I don't know, I was just watching a stat guide yesterday, but didn't check weapon specifics
this staff worth upgrading? or wait for better stats
Not sure I understand what you mean with that, as in, other side of the meat grinder map?
why must they disable espionage/disruption
I tested on day1 a lasgun on psyker, seemed to do more damage the further I was from the target
with the shield ogryn, what feats should I go for, i feel the bleed stacks dont work too well as the heavy is so slow, and im not really hitting so much as taking hits?
Bleed on grenades with the 2nd tier grenade nerd... meh. Coherensy grenade regen is widely reported as broke. As for final tier, not sure why you'd want to trade off versitility for monster killing which shows up 1 or 2 times depending on difficulty. Agree to disagree?
Point of reference for distance.
should i be a silly goober and upgrade this boltgun
no
Pinning Fire is the best for bolter. I would say yes.
Bleed build is best cause it allows you to stack up to 70% damage immunity, you just need to melee with your ranged weapon, which counts as a heavy hit, therefor causing bleed, that's why you see people with gauntlet or grenade launcher meleeing and only pulling out their shield if they're getting shot from a distance
for the first one 5% each second is too low and on high difficulties there's very frequently enemies near you no matter where you stand, as long as you kill a special every 10 seconds top trait is better, plus it stacks and also works melee.
second, sniper is the best imo since it hits the breakpoints just right and allows me to oneshot shooters, the other two are pretty good though
third, generating 10% toughness is decent, but you mostly use your gun to kill shooters which aren't in melee range with your allies, the only case where it works is when a mauler/berzerker is hitting your allies but that's too rare to be good imo.
fourth is absolutely not preference, without the top one you're literally useless on higher difficulties, that's probably the most important trait for vet, although it's pretty useless until level 30.
fifth, the grenade one seems useless to me, unless some weird bleed build shows up, the crit one is good situationally with traits like fire stacks on crit, the bottom one is always useful and good though so I just stick with it.
sixth one is just the middle one always, although before the bugs are fixed, the top one might be better
I find grenades absolutely lackluster on Vet or maybe in general simply due to how much it takes to chuck one. Its faster to whip out the power sword and cleave your way out.
That seems balanced, fair, and reasonable.
Too many reply posts 0_0
seems like most of the good zealots on my team don't intentionally stay low hp, they stay high hp and if they happen to go low and get their bonuses then great, what's up with that?
welp i did it
lasguns deal more damage the farther you stand actually
Based
I know it's stupid
question 1, what the hell is an unyielding enemy
Power sword is bae... until a nerf which is sure to hit it.
yea xD
Reapers are considered unyielding iirc
I personally play with "One after Another" and The "Bigger they Are..." and i've found them to be way more profitable to my own playstyle.
I also don't use Sniper because i profit more from reloading midside the clip after each battle and get better bullet swings
ong??
I already hard focus them anyways
this is perfect for me
I've also seen bleeding on grenades do wonders on Heresy and Damnation
i use my boltgun ammo only to specifically kill specials

If you shoot enemies in the meat grinder it shows their armor type/ and unyielding is one of them
This is one of the reasons I want to be a voice actor
@cerulean pelican all you need to do is "oh patrol of 20 shooters, let me bull rush in, smash with gauntlet, now I can't die cause I also restore 20 toughness on each hit" if you have a zealot nearby you can get another 22% toughness resist ontop of that, so you're 92% toughness damage resistant.
Repeat that for the rest of the match and you win.
The bleeds even apply when you hit armor you can't penetrate, like bulwarks shield, it's absolute kek
I was looking into that, i don't see how it's good since the grenade either kills all the trash anyway or cc's them enough for you to power sword through all of them
Did something about handling hounds change? Usually you could stagger them with blocks. Now they just ignore my block and pounce me anyways. How do I avoid hounds now? Or was that just the server taking a poop?
dodge sideways works if you time it right
Well timed dodge?
I dont use the +75% toughness of volley fire and my teammates dont consider me useless by any degree. +75% toughness can be good, however not getting shot at in the first place due to camo expert is a strategy. Meanwhile using dodge/duck/dip/dive/and... dodge? for +sta synergizes with ADS 5th perk for stability and critical.
Ok so this is why we got hard carried in a damnation run by an ogryn even though we had a bot and all randomly queued up for it
Dodging something that defies physics and has 0 inertia seems like a viable option. 😒
Had him hop in our call this morning and ran a tier 3. Hes legit a cool dude.
Damn, you lucky
anyone know what would be the weapon rating cap?
ye they're pretty broken, but whenever you hear their bark just dodge sideways and it works like 90% of the time
Yep, Ogryn's are stupidily tanky, don't even need the shield if you can just charge in fast enough and tie them up in melee.
He'll just occasionally need health because enemies that hit him in melee will do 1-3 health damage due to bleed through, so on my Ogryn I only have 1 wound curio and 2x health curio to compensate
I use to talk with Draven's voice actor from time to time (Erik Braa)
He also voice Jax and Velkoz
It varies, if I have an ogyrn with a shield with me, camo expert has good synergy with it, the 75% dmg resist works well on clearing rooms of ranged units
Is it just gauntlet that works as a heavy attack, or any ranged weapon?

Agreed. I stand by my previous post. I firmly believe that tier of feats is preference based.
I've tried it with gauntlet and and heavy stubber, so I assume it applies to all
^
Just the fact you have to pre-dodge because it could literally just run by someone in front of you is stupid. I dunno what they did with the AI, but it breaks my brain thinking about their prioritization. The only AI that seems to make sense is the general basic bish poxwalkers, cause they literally just turn and attack whatever's closest. Everything else it's a coin toss whether it ignores something in front of you or not..
gonna start playing veteran soon, what models of guns should i look out for? the different types of autogun and lasgun seem a little overwhelming
can some one help me how this works ?
what difficulty tho? on heresy and damnation enemy bullets just oneshot you, besides if the enemy isn't shooting you they're less visible and they're shooting your teammates
Higher rating = stronger buff
Look at each indivual one to see if it provides the stats you want
Just take xp ones while leveling, you can min max once you're 30
yes but it wont let me equip the one i want
I'm pretty sure whenever an enemy like mutant/hound spawns, they just select one person and run for them no matter how many people get in their way, really hate that design choice tbh, but you can still dodge them if you keep that in mind
close inventory and open it, know bug, you probably just bought it, it sometimes bugs and then doesn't actually equip the new item nor discard anything, you'll have to open and close it again
there’s semi auto, auto, and charge lasguns and they each have 2-3 different variants, the xii is the semi auto you want to look out for and then also the auto variant with infernus, then there’s the bolter
The great thing about it is you can just move and not use it if it's not good in the moment. I love camo in higher difficulties because I can position myself aggressively to kill shooters
is the ogryn 100% toughness bonus as good as it sounds?
aaaaaaaaah thx
4's and 5's. I use the rather 'broken' cough cover system to mitigate most of my damage. Before I leave cover, I'm looking for my next spot to get into cover. I haven't had visibility issues finding ranged (Unless everything is on fire then the yellow markers suck), and with the supression system the way it is, it helps out the team if enemies -arent- shooting at me. I can deal with ranged threats much easier unsupressed than suppressed. God bless shield ogryns. Love yall.
If enemies are shooting you, then zealot and ogryn aren't doing their job, they need to tie them up in melee so the team doesn't get tied down in a death-sentence slugfest.
Need to close range ASAP and tie them up to prevent them from magdumping the team.
Lets hope no one breaks anything to change that.
Nobody do anything stupid, okay?
@arctic plover where was it confirmed
that's just not possible on damnation unless you're a shield ogryn, even one enemy can fuck you up and you can't force them all into melee
yea I take minimal damage in Heresy+ even when aggressively killing ranged enemies just because camo is so good. Also, if you want the aggro then you can just move around and make the decision to not have the perk active in the moment
Why not just headshot them and kill them?
I agree with your take in terms of builds overall. The only toughness regen worth picking is the elite/special kill since on higher difficulty u need a burst of heal rather then an over time. (u dont have the luxury of time in this game) Also since the game spawns enemies around u and push u into corridors backline is pretty much nonexistant since threats are all around u.
Second perk is depending on weapon use imo. If u use something like bolter or plasma u rather want the reload speed otherwise absolutely take the sniper.
Third perk seems pretty useless all around so i just give more feedback to my team trough giving them a bunch of marked targets.
Fourth the only really usefull one is unwavering focus due to its buffs once u have your lvl 30 perk. The stamina regen is very situational and the game mostly push u to move in a certain speed forward to make good use of camo.
Fifth i prefer the reload speed both because i like the extra speed and it stays after a kill a decent while. Deadshot can be nice but i dont really wanna waste my stamina in case i get swarmed and put on the defense in melee.
Sixth is just for what u wanna focus on as the Veteran and what gun you are using.
I wouldnt necesseraly say there is an overall "best" build for Vet since we have multiple type of weapons that can work with the right perks so it mostly just boils down to what weapon u enjoy playing with.
Doesn’t getting shot slug down the zealots charge?
what about Jedi psyker that blocks ranged fire with Force sword?
Because you won't kill all 20 of a patrol and it's elites before they start shooting back, that's why ogryn and zealot exist, to tie them up in melee
Tweet just a few min ago. Should be up in the pinned tweet channel now.
Kantrael MG (sp?) 12 can thin those numbers out pretty easily. I suppose its situational dependent. Also you bring up a good point on why I use covering fire for +10% toughness. The ability to 'heal' (lol) my team is something I have to think long and hard about before removing it from my toolbox.
You can, because all you need to do is get in range before they fire, and if you even engage only 1 of them in melee, the others will come to his aid, that's just how the AI works, after that it's just a matter of pushing and blocking as you would normally melee on heresy and damnation, because now you've guaranteed their death.
This requires fire displince, not veterans starting to spray as soon as they see a patrol 60 meters ahead and now the AI is no longer in passive mode, this makes life for ogryns and zealots a lot harder and thereby the whole squad.
Idk about that one, I think if my team is in melee of a unit, they're gaining plenty of toughness just swinging
I've seen some zealots blocking with their faces...
Love yall though 🙂
Bad players are not your problem
That's certainly not how the AI works in the games I'm in.
Well, if I can help out the team I will regardless of skill levels. Plus Im widely not convinced that 'painting' elites and sharing my priority list with the rest of the team in coherency is that great...
In the emperors name we pray that disruption comes back today.
I need my masked helmet...
thats fact
I am hoping to eventually find a force sword with the supposedly existing trait allowing you to block bullets.
Because I dont know about yall but my guy looks like an Alabama inbred pig farmer.
why do people get melk every hour but i get him every 24 hours?
If you play Zealot and Ogryn a lot, you'll see that's what they do 😛
Really? They’ll just stand there and until engaged? I didn’t know that til now
Why not 5% chance to gain a grenade then? Every 20 kills your teamates gain a grenade, that seems good in every situation
whats a good build for surge staff?
it's every 20 elite kills
Yeah, not worth it.
It says 5% chance to get a grenade on enemy kill
Is the sarcasm needed? If you would take 10 seconds of your time and not shoot a patrol the instant you see them, you'll see they just walk around, then they have a short period where they notice you, and by then you should've already engaged in melee
Fat Shark lies to us too.

I’m serious, I legit didn’t know that
either the tooltip or the trait itself is bugged, grenade every 20 kills would be absolutely broken tbh
Oh okay, my apologies, like they won't spot you unless they are shot or you are like within 20 meters range.
hello?
I play Psyker, which means I'm largly useless against scattered enemies in cover. So I try to close the gap a lot, and usually some enemies switch back to ranged as soon as I dodge backwards once. Or switch targets and shoot my team while am hitting them. Though of course I frequently just die on the approach because of input delay and lag, meaning when I see the telegraph of a ranged attack it's too late to actually initiate a slide. 🤷♂️
I kinda wish they would make a 'grenadier' playstyle more viable! The Scab Bomber can do it... I want to do it too!
Grenade spam is so Imp Guard xD As are flamers... 😦
Can confirm the patrols, though. In those cases, a fully charged staff blast or grenade followed by sprinting into melee usually engages them nicely. (please no grenades. They absolutely kill my framerate)
The grenade skills may not be as good as they were but you can still feel the 5% grenade chance
@rigid wasp what I often do is if I see a patrol or a horde standing at a spot, I mark it, wait for the others to be ready, tell them to pull their grenades out, then they throw and I activate my charge, they're all dead in less than 5 seconds without any of us getting shot.
btw is it just me or is hitreg on moving enemies absolutely terrible? 80% of shots on moving enemies miss, the shot in the picture missed
You said danger close with the grenade spam?
I have noticed that if there are 2 vets in a run with Bio-Optic targetting, it can bug out to give you yellow vision on all enemies in the area at all times
alright then...
Tons of engagments on tier 4/5 have been helped in my games by having more grenades. May not always come in clutch but you always get around 4-5 nades from the proc per match. 20 min per match means along with the other feat giving me 1 every minute I can keep them going.
Not just you. I have to lead targets too.
that's the sixth middle perk, shows all ranged enemies
Are you the same Unlimited from TRS2 discord?
I'm saying it stays on even after the skill is off
Any other vets notice that?
You don't, normal shop resets every hour, Melk's doesn't
I’ll keep that in mind next time I’m premade with my friends on difficulty 4-5, I tend to just shoot at a cluster of ranged units until they’re dead, seems more useful to have my zealot and ogyrn disabling them with melee than to waste ammo on anything that isn’t specialists
Ive seen this bug as well. yellow will stay on indefinitely on all enemies already marked.
did Malice get buffed? Like i swear to god, every malice mission I tried to do is just absolutely brutal after the update
They could be refreshing their duration though through killing elites and specials, if you have a good vet he can keep it up long in a target rich environment
its might be ur modifers, like endless horde
Does the Impact stat have something to do with how often you stagger enemies?
Why on power matrix do i always end with 2 scriptures? I stg im checking every inch but far more than any other map i cannot consistently find all 3 on power matrix, anyone else finding the same?
well then, dirty little liars
Does anyone know how often mission type rotations are?
thoughts?
No I was paying attention to it to confirm it was down. You can't keep it up through a long reload and I knew mine was down
there were no modifiers. standard
i havent had much trouble
could be just bad luck
Yes exactly, most people run out of ammo on 4 and 5 because they feel like they should magdump them before they get shot, but stamina and dodging are infinite and negate all damage, so does incapacitating them and knocking them down (love to my 2hd hammer zealots).
i had 3 muties spawn back to back. have fun dealing with three of those fuckers
yeah thats just bad luck
like 3 trappers and a flamer
I see, I haven't experienced it myself to be "infinitily long" but I did see it last long
yeah...
are there 7 mission out right now? i think I've played each one but i havent got the achieve.
Yeah the resets can happen for sure. but this is when both have used and ended their ability and things still stay highlighted. its rare but its happened a handful of times.
Bolter with the ult-reload feat makes short work of em in groups
yeah, I'm a psyker tho =/
Thats my biggest trade off between bolter and Kantrael XII. Ammo allocation with the bolter doesn't allow for it. With XII? Blast away.
was it worth it?
It's super common as well, I see it multiple times every mission where 2 vets run bio-optic, i think it's because they bug each other out but I'm not sure if that's how you recreate it
That power level is a bit low 😦 (Assuming you crafted it?)
should i buy this or not?
Got it, cheers
Waste of ammo, mutants like dogs take 3x melee damage, people need to learn to chainsword or axe a mutant when he's grabbing someone
Bolter+ammo reload perk+ the final feat that auto reloads is goated. You can get crazy feeds.
you can just use a lineup, there are plenty in steam guides
Still not convinced "Sustained fire" does anything on staves. Well, single-shot ones, anyways
I like sending a dog on a Delta flight with the bolter, tho
those mods pair really well, so id take it. can really spam a bunch of attacks with that to cleave hordes
I tried both reload feats (not the 6th feat because i want vision on ranged units) and I thought it sucked. The reload is still super long and the issue isn't the reload but the time it takes to pull the gun out
the instant reload perk comes with instant 60 toughness aswell. its so fking insane
Bolter is fun, but ammo should be spend diligently 😛
no that damage roll is horrible wtf
my english is bad and google translate showing wierd things
its means no wipe or wipe?
no wipe
no wipe
Not at all, on heresy the disruption that a charger creates if u let him grab especially if he grabs a vertran who is killing backline elites is run killing, both chargers and dogs should be focused down immidiatly to give space for elite killing from psykers and vetrans, at least in my experience of heresy and damnation
I hate it when people complain about dog being tanky, how about just dodge him, then stunlock him or melee him.
I don't have any ammo issues with a bolter at all even on damnation. As long as you're only shooting into ranged enemies and specials, I don't see how you can run out
What class do you main?
U can also push it out of the air.
yeah that pullout animation will always 100% screw you. I dont take the first reload feat. Right now the middle 6th feat is bugged so ive switched off it as you dont often get your resets like you should. I take that if im going lazgun and take the top one with bolter. This way with a perk on the bolter and a super high base reload it doesnt feel bad. You can unload 15 shots, switch to melee, Hit F to avoid racking the bolt back as if you do it with it out he likes to run the animation.
Vet
Oh that I didn't know, like the assasin in VT2 then?
yep
i got it like 5 seconds before you said this lmao
Very nice, good to know
Problem is that dodging dogs isnt reliable while they are so buggy
What's the bug? Is it just that you're not getting reset off scab shooter kills? If so, I can easily deal with that
This needs to be posted higher, if you are running double vets you both should never have 2 bolters. someone should fill a gap and youll never run out of ammo.
Its like punching the gutterrunner midflight.
Had a dog recently pouncing me up the stairs (I had just cleared). I shot at him while moving backwards, no idea if I hit, I think I did, and the dog just launched itself up into the sky.
That said, dodging isn't always reliable with bad fps.
Then you're doing well, but most veterans I see won't even utilize their melee unless they're engaged in melee and end up running out.
It's like as if they think they're a sharpshooter, so meleeing is something they don't need to do.
It's as infuriating as a Ogryn that feels the need to stand in the middle of a field of fire instead of hug a wall and keep busy 90% of the enemies while giving the rest clear view.
Thats literally it, otherwise its the best perk in the 6th imo. The marking on the patrols is to good.
Steel for humans (Power sword -> hordes) Silver for monsters (bolter -> specials/elites)
Some people say it's intended but when I go in the training mode I get resets off scab shooter kills, it just doesnt work during a mission. Either way I'm cool with just seeing the shooter positions even if it's just for 5 seconds. Usually its longer than that because I time the elite kills between them
Meanwhile i just dump 3 mag of bolter rounds into a horde cuz its fun. xD
When they fix it, I'm switching to it immediately.
Damn you guys are using bolters? i only just unlocked chainswords
Power Sword > Chain swords.
please tell me they act like bolters and not autoguns
Chainsword on veteran is better imho, zealots and ogryns should keep horde busy with no problems.
With chainsword you can kill ragers and maulers without giving them a chance to attack and without needing to spend ammo.
Yes im having a massive eargasm using bolters
is there any way at all to either get a bigger clip or a scope on the bolter?
Totally agree, right now every so often Ill find myself getting the reset in a live game. However its veeerrry rare. Maybe 5-6 times ive gotten a reset and carried my ability through its cooldown just off scab shooters.
Whats your horde clearing weapon then?
Chainsword, it's it's thing, it's a versatile weapon.
same, its def not working as intended since ive had it proc live. Once its golden im on board.
would you upgrade ?
Chainsword with the right perk can be really solid for hord clearing
Hrm..... having tried both, Im more inclined to the power sword. The movement lock for revved attacks gets me in trouble on higher difs
There is absolutely times where dumping a horde is valuable, when a teammates is getting overrun or when the ranged is being efficiently kept out of LOS, the ability to free space with the magdump + magdump stagger is huge, and if u have stagger stacks giving power as a weapon perk then its also crazy valuable to spray a horde at times
once you get a good chain going on the power swords with another vet and time your charges in between heavy swings, hordes just go down in tier 4-5 and you can hold a solid corner really easy.
Power sword staggers ragers and maulers
Did they ever fix the “% damage to elites” actually being 10x the number shown?
where the power fists and meltas at
chainsword locks them and kills them in 2 rev strikes without any danger if you just clear the last remaining trash aroudn them.
Thing is you need to reload to keep it going and even with both reload perks I could not reload fast enough to get another kill so as long as you get 1 reset, you're good
Like the logistratum, literally jsut run in the container rooms, rev attack and clear both, don't need to spend a single bullet
Power swords charge heavy swing kills them -and- trash around them though...
Power sword kills the trash and doesn't let them ever swing their weapons at you
Shouldn't psykers also get chainswords? I'm lvl 27 and i haven't seen a single one
https://prnt.sc/x6tm_ORGs6Mb
if u get this perk on your chainsword it could be absolutely better or very much on par with power sword in terms of horde clear
otherwise powersword anyday
Solid point for sure, the ammount of times ive screwed myself not having a full mag when I start our special ability has made me scream.
I would say sure, unless the power sword had that exact same perk.
With chainsword you don't need to heavy swing though...
I've definitely seen the 1h assault chainsword in the shop repeatedly.
Maulers die in two charges, ragers die in one charge of the powersword even on 4
That would be kind of unnecessary and overkill on power sword imo.
Strange.
yea tehy unlock at level 12. Psykers tho got a ton of weapons to cycle through in the store so getting specific ones is hard
Those two words don't belong in a 40k community. 😄
so are the 2 main melee weapons for endgame Chainswords / Power swords?
It depends? Zealot has a hammer, and psyker the force sword. And Ogryn is Ogryn.
just the powersword for vet
oh
If there is a large horde on screen I am pretty much guaranteed to get a "your doing such a good job" voice line when using the powersword
guess i need a power sword
I never heavy swing on power sword, I think getting 3 powered light swings, dodge back, power up, 3 powered light swings, etc. is just too good of a combo. Nothing hits you even if there's a massive group of ragers, maulers, and even ogryns get staggered by a powered light swing
All joking aside, I'd say it depends on preference. If you really like chainswords, do your thing. I really like power swords. Ultimately, I think the PS is going to get a nerf... its just that strong compared to anything else... That's not what I want to see in this game, the weapons should be more balanced out.
How does one complete the Abhor the Mutant penance? i killed one while it was charging with the power hammer but i didnt get it
Chain swords were literally the only melee weapon I liked before I found my first power sword well after I hit 30
Fair fair but hear me out. xD
Power swords charge up already gives u sufficient enough of cleave power to the point that u literally swipe anything off the planet on any difficulty hands down. It works on single target as well sure but i feel especially with armored Chainsword feels safer to use on single target elites. U can also cancel the rev animation which is massive advantage imo when it comes to single target dps.
Heavy swing on power sword goes right at neck level if you aim right. Thats a -very- strong cleave horde clearer.
I feel most vets just jump to the powersword without giving chainsword a proper try, like many weapons "later unlocked is best"
I'd agree if we were comparing power sword to like chain axe though
This still does 80% not 8% per my testings btw
What do you use for ranged weapon?
So what should vets be ideally using, powerswords and Xgun?
im guessing bolters are pretty good?
Nah the power sword is so rare that I literally used a chain sword the vast majority of my leveling and a good portion into lvl 30 before finding a power sword that just happened to get 14.5% power for 3.5s on Kill
Ideally every vet should test every weapon. I've seen a dude use a combat axe to great effect. Dude was insane. Pretty sure a zealot main but still handled ranged threats like a pro.
Yep the axe is amazing, those are teh onyl 2 weapons I keep lol
It just deals so much damage that I think I'm losing damage doing a heavy swing. I do have Slaughterer on mine though
375 short after completing my weeklies 😩
Ide give up the powersword to get rid of melee chip damage, because on 4/5 powersword is the only thing that keeps you alive when the horde comes atm, the other melee can perform just not at the same level currently and it's very reminiscent of like high level Pathfinder where it's whoever's wizard wins the initiative roll, not a fun way to play but it's effective
Agreed, I have gone broke completely just trying every weapon. super worth it
I use Bolter with speed reload and power sword. I kinda play as like a shock trooper since i have some sustain and massive power agains armored targets due to being able to even dump 3 mags of bolter fire if i glitch it properly but even in worst case i have 2 mags which is more then enough. Power sword as the side arm is there if i dont have time to find cover and reload (yes even with speed reload) or im getting swarmed and since im not a filthy Tau i will carve myself a way in spectacular fashion as the emperor intended.
Holy tags batman.
what is the aoe damage type of equinox void strike force staff?
Giggling endgames batman
Fast moving channels will do that
like the lightning si nice
So is this +3% max with 5 stacks or +15% max with 3% per stack? confusing language
I'd give up pretty much anything to get rid of health bleed.
It also depends on your playstyle and build, lasgun gives you easier time aiming and response times, faster reloading, more ammo, but you'll need a primary that also can deal with carapace.
Shotgun is great for ohshit moments, can double as horde clear and can still be effective up to 40-50meters away.
I don't use camo nor sniper though, I pop shots at what I deem dangerous (ragers, toxburster), then get in melee with ogryn and zealot, then I can dump ammo when the team needs breathing room.
Different answers from different people but personally I don't struggle on damnation, losses are mostly team cohesion issue than a weapons issue, and I use powersword and bolter
Not sure what carapace is but i got the feeling a chainsword can get through it
How do you not run out of ammo all the time playing like that?
1000% this. Ive laughed as ive joined a game expecting to lose seeing what my comp has. Only to smash the shit out of a tier 4/5 simply because everyone has great cohesion, callouts, spots, and participation.
Tried the accatran lasgun.
Ngl its extremely satisfying to use XD. Dou im not sure how it’ll hold difficulty 4 n above, since im currently grindin difficulty 3.
Also does anyone have a guide on the diff types of lucius n accatran lasguns?
It's the armor better than flak armor, so think crusher, parts of reaper and bulwark and the head of mauler
how do you find out which missions have dreg mobs
there are 3 distinction of armor lvl: unarmored -> flak armor -> carapace armor
carapace has the highest dmg resistance and u need tools to bypass that or find a weak spot
@grave ocean https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkTide/comments/z2pn4t/enemy_breed_armour_types_and_locational_damage/ all armor types per enemy, per body part and their corresponding damage multiplier per body part

cannot lie i do at times but apply some Kriegs doctrine and u will be fine
Revving Chain weapons grants extra armor piercing
if youre out of ammo u can always suicide charge X"D
This is why i love the lucius
Oh no a horde and my melee weapon is bad
stab stab stab stab stab
i wanna love the hellborne lasgun so much but i just cant
It's the ironsight that kills it for me, it's absolutely atrocious
cuz Kriegs all the way
Literally best a heresy with 4 guardsman, 2 bolter 2 accatran. The gun/comp is way less important than actual player competency
For bolter/powersword I mag dump elites and gunners and get in melee if I start getting low, your cohesion bonus + ammo drops should help you get shit done
agreed
Mk 3 has the best iron sight from what ive seen of them but i feel like Mk1 and 2 performs better
So something I've used that may help out others.
I alternate purposes with my weapons.
For example:
Bolter (Single Target/Armored threats) Power sword (Horde clear)
If I were to swap those though:
Kantrael XII (Ranged horde clear/horde clear) Chain sword/combat axe (Single Target/Armored Threats)
I'm still covered. As long as I have a way to handle what I need to, I'm good. Food for thought!
i will 100% make some meme builds/runs for a Krieg build
and pls Fatshark......GIVE ME KRIEGS COSMETICS I BEG OF U
I play a bit more ammo conservatily I guess, I like to make sure I have enough ammo for when I Actually need it, since dodging, stamina and melee damage are infinite sources I like to utilize those more, basically I play like you would in vermintide.
Yeah but how often do you end a mission with sub 50 rounds? You can be liberal with it's use because if you shoot an elite it's free, and when you shoot a gunner sometimes you can kill 2-3 with a single shot assuming they're close enough
Thats pretty much my logic too. If i wanna use a lasgun i will most likely switch to chainsword to bypass some armored assholes
(on a second thought thats how i played already before i got my bolter)
Anyone having issues with Consecrate just not working even if you have all the materials
Yes, folks have been bringing that issue up. Not just you, for sure.
Even just a gasmask would be fun
Is this playing with friends? Cause in pubs grabbing ammo drops is not a reliable thing, as I still see people often enough be greedy and instantly grab it when they open a box without even checking the ammo of their team.
It's the same kind of people who rage quit as kerillian player, rushing ahead, hogging all the ammo and then dying.
Trenchcoat is a bonus
I finally get a fun thunder hammer and i can't upgrade it 😢
i want the full getup
ladies may not like it, but this is what peak imperial guard performance looks like
Repentia cosmetics when?
Cadian infantry paintjob when?
I change my play depending on classes present, with psykers and zealots they don't need ammo that often and ogryns who use grenade gauntlet have infinite ammo because of me, it's mostly when there are multiple sharpshooters that it becomes a concern, but I usually weigh my ammo usage as more important because I know what I'm working with, with how I play I rarely go below 50 rounds missing but it does happen
And that's assuming bolter yes?
Yes
wasnt the 717 a cadian regiment? I think the high end ones currently have the 717 on the back. I could easily remember wrong though.
What’s the most efficient way to use the Bolter? Also I’ve heard it kinda hogs the spotlight in a way, stopping other people from performing their roles, is this true?
point and click
Perhaps we're playing with a different crowd, because the amount of specials and elites on heresy and damnation require a lot of ammo if you are too liberal with your ammo, so compensating for any lack by teammates is costly.
Just being a generic guardsman kicking ass has always appealed to me in games like this
Ideally if you have 2 sharpshooters, my preference is one runs bolter/ps the other runs recon/ps
I only like the bolter on heresy+ otherwise the recon lasgun over performs on malice
Cadian 8th is the iconic colour scheme
why ppl so toxic when they die?
Perhaps its a bit op at times but in the end of the day if u win u win if u loose u loose.
I dislike the bolted. Too few ammo and very high kickback. Or does it get better with higher stats?
Anyone got suggestion of which map to complete the cliffhanger (push enemies off ledge) achievement for psyker? (other than vigil station map, not available anymore)
how do i increase power rating of items in shop? can i influence it in any way?
I wouldn't say it 'stops' people from performing their roles... Its just really really strong atm. Semi auto for long range targets. Full auto at close range for big targets such as armored ogryns/monsters.
I prefer my own doctrine 1. Prioritize elites and range 2. Always be killing 3. Don’t get hit. Works every time
Which mark of the recon would that be? The one that dumps 5000 shots per second?
For anyone but veteran, I would agree with you.
heavy carapace targets should be your bread and butter. You dont take away anything from other classes unless you spam your ammo and try to take every last drop. You allow your team room to breath during heavy engagments when specials on a horde could mean life or death. You stand in the way of dogs, mutants, maulers, and ragers.
This makes sense im still a lore newbie and i cant say i know too much of the imperial guard. I only started recently covering them more to hype up for this game.
Yeah, I kinda think the full auto thing should be removed, and just have it be a burst fire/single fire rifle
At a minimum I am usually playing with one psyker because I usually dual queue with my psyker friend.
I'll take a pic of it when I get on PC in a few, I forget which one exactly, but I really like the ignite chance on my special for mine
Its going to get nerfed again. I'd be surprised of it didn't get hit again. (Burst fire no, single fire yes)
What weapon does your psyker use? I assume a staff? Which one if yes?
Edit: honestly curious, not trying to nitpick
And he runs lightning staff l+fs, so never uses ammo
I dont think the full auto was intended. Primary fire supposed to be a burst fire but for some reason if u hold then it just goes full auto cuz borked coding i assume.
Yea I also use the staff on my psyker so I don't use ammo or nades either, makes life easier for veterans
Which one of these is better? I am not sure i understand the damage meter well and how much more significant it is from the first FT to the second one. Which stats are important? I feel like showstoper is nearly useless....
I have never heard a good psyker complain about me shooting the elite he was trying to headpop in higher difficulty. That should tell you all you need
good call
Not sure, will have to test. I believe you lose out on damage with full auto. I find myself consistently 3 shotting mutants with aim fire on tier 4-5, but with full auto it takes more.
Given the fact that we see space marines in lore dealing with the recoil from single shooting bolters... I would say that firing full auto bolter as a veteran human would send the weapon and the guardsman flying.
says burst in the description
There are enough elites getting killed where low ammo count ogryn guns get regen'd just fine and zealots need less ammo overall, like I said before when sharpshooters are at 2+ I just stay ahead a bit and outskill them on ammo snatching lol
I started to feel bad shooting the glowy blue targets cuz I assumed the psyker was trying to do something lol
I heard that this one is a smaller sized bolter for humans but still yes shooting this bad boy in full auto is full on insanity.
Yes but that's just Ogryn's due to low capacity, not veterans, it's a fringe case example that doesn't apply to veteran itself, well it does, but too much lower extent, unless using revolver.
its in your favor to the psyker stacked with warp charges, increases dmg for squad in coherance
especially if using soulblaze
and using it on elites
Id say shoot them. The BB mechanic in general is pretty meh and if we choke the mechanic enough they might rework it to make it better. Youre welcome Psykers! xD
Currently what im enjoying the most on the bolter. Hopefully I get a good perk when I upgrade.
what are the stats that are best to have the most of and the ones that are fine to have low on an eviscerator?
Hey mine also has rending 😄
Yeah and imo, an ideal situation is one of each class. If I headshot an elite it gives me my ammo back, and if others go into melee I go into melee when I get some free ammo back
As a psycher I agree
Pinning fire would be a smacker on that.
Can any one help me out on my flamethrower question above? 🙂
rending feels insane on heavy armor targets, really can tell the diff on a bolter without it.
That's the main reason I go into melee, to keep myself topped up when I play vet 😛
Yes, makes it even better.
oh man, one can only dream. Blessed be the emperor when I go for it.
Right now while the %damage on elites, is bugged it is the most powerful perk by miles
Im leveling psyker rn and honestly im trying to avoid any chance of using BB cuz it takes forever to wind it up and keep my stacks on.
Its just not fun
Shattering plus pinning? Dude... let me know how that turns out.
I would welcome priority target on elites for bb
how exactly do the contracts work? do they need to be activated somehow or something? i see no progress when i open the menu
Which one are you tryign to do? It's per character, not account-wide.
When you have decent communication it just turns into a dance of meleeing the horde down and falling back to blast the shotgunners with a single headshot, 4 plays so different compared to 3 it's awesome because it almost feels like a whole different game
@kind spindle it becomes more important at higher levels. The dmg you can stack with it and give your squad is some of the highest in the game
Ill post the upgrade pics once I get the mats for it. Lets pray I get a phatty since my last few weapons from grey were a bust. SO far this is the best one yet.
kill 750 dregs in melee
You sure you killign dregs and not infested?
Protip, do NOT sleep on grey weapons with high base stats. By the time you upgrade it you could have a monster of a weapon with insane perks on top of high base.
hmm possible. but i also have one for completing 15 missions and that one didnt update either
Yep, disenage to shoot priority targets, then get right back in melee
What would be high for rank 30?
I think bolter needs the perk with increased damage on stagger
I usually play with headphones to listen in on those audio cues of special spawning.
I just got a build to keep my stacks up without BB so il try that once i hit 30. Im geniuenly not having fun using BB which is my biggest gripe with Psyker rn just in terms of having fun with the class. Im only 16 though so there isint much i can play with rn that compliments using BB a bunch.
There is a bug where they don't sometimes update the only fix I found was restarting the game and then future missions do count
Pinning Fire, yes thats the BiS according to many.
makes sense, thanks ill do that
Same, with headphones so I don't have the problem other people have of not hearing trappers
To me the charging of their netgun and their talking is very distinct
They probably also put their sound to high dynamic, while not having an audio setup that supports those ranges.
Its super silly with only having the bars as a guide, but generally anything with a higher lean on the bars you are looking for on weapons. Its personal preference but Imo impact on bolters isnt as important as damage if you have the perks. Anything thats leaning high on all stats is good, once you take it from grey-masterwork its level goes way up. a 350 grey can go into a 450+ masterwork.
totally! Blaze Sword will let you get stacks using melee which is a nice bonus. Using BB on elites stacked with the soulblaze perk which is an AoE will give a huge dmg boost to team, coupled with other perks
Trappers are the only female voice out there besides the crazy fan girl zealot I usually get grouped up with. Helps me out
Female?
Trappers are female
Yeah its super distinct. Legit the only reason I hear them half the time. so different from all the other V/O
@kind spindle also, the laspistol has a high fire rate and using that with the 30perk which gives you 10% chance to run BB on any target hit with a weakspot will allow you to spam BB instantly and get charges quick
@tough cove chainsword doesn't perform like this even on zealot
They don't sound very female to me >.>
Nurgle corruption does wonders on the vocal chords.
I saw someone recruiting by gearscore yesterday and that doesn’t seem like a good way to do it when a 310 boltgun with pinning strikes can put damage a 430 without pinning strike
Fuck that guy
Does the extra stamina even do anything on this?
You're literally standing ontop of a team blob and all enemies are bleeding by ogryn.... at that point you could be using shovel light spam
Oh and they're stunned already by zealot
If youre using the stamina drain for crit and stability buff, yes
if you pull it out and sprint you sprint slightly longer
can give you a bit more time to aim the weapon down sights granted you go middle feat tier 5.
Yes, I use the perk that drains stamina while looking down strikes. It’s not good but it’s not completely useless
question about that, does it stop providing that buff if you're out of stamina? I'd assume so
@distant ferry intresting options. Il try the flamer staff build i got once i hit 30 but il definitly mess around with the class once im 30. I love psykers and their bullshit so im in it for the long haul. I cant wait for Rogue Trader to come out so i can play as a psyker farting out chaos spawns left and right due to my inability to roll high in any game.
From my testing, unfortunately yes
that ogryn was overall pretty useless, I do that sort of damage solo every time I get swarmed too
Chainsword oneshots armored enemies if I remember right
I likewise use this perk with the middle perk in tier 4. Simply crouching while taking fire can give you infinite stamina and with the bolter that means you can consistently pop heads on groups of scouts or scab shooters.
@kind spindle if you find a lightning staff with warp flurry, try it out, it stacks a -4% quell charge 5 times, you can spam it almost endlessly as long as you pay attention to quell levels
I guess so lol
it will kill an enemy, the powersword kills armored enemies
I mean powersword does everything lol
Kinda wish other melees were as strong as powersword or had a bit more cleave to at least match it
hard to argue, I love the rest of the melee roster as much as everyone else but the power sword just feels goated.
Ive been using the lightning staff but i feel quite vulnerable when im left to my own devices since the lightning dosent do a whole lot of dmg. Im liking the void staff though a lot and i think i will stick with that til 30.
Best v/o lines go to female zealot when mutant grabbed... sets my teeth on edge with that blood curdling screech of death.
Ive also been hella jaded since I got a good roll and perk set on mine.
I mean the issue is even though powersword is strong you still need a good team comp
Wrong. Its when she charges in yelling "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"
it can carry pretty hard in 3, but 4 always needs teamwork to some degree
powersword don't mean shit if you getting beat to hell by a million poxwalkers as a solo
I hope they go the route of bugging weak weapons instead of needing strong ones from now on
is there an indicator for which shotgun ammo type i have loaded
No solo heroes here. Ive seen people time and time again think they can carry only to get bodied by the sadistic AI generator. No piece of gear is stronger than the bonds of a homie that knows what hes doing.
Lol, fanatic female zealot voice lines crack me up
Wait... for the blood god?
Honestly though kinda shocked chainsword special attack doesn't let it do some silly stuff like oneshotting armored ragers and whatnot
%damage to elites still bugged
Heresy!
I have no idea what she actually yells, something something golden throne or so. BUT IT SOUNDS SO MUCH LIKE HERECY
Has anyone found a Consignment Yard mission that's not damnation difficulty?
yo thats fucking wild. lmao
best veteran melee weapons (for hordes?)
the chainsword should be better at clearing mobs than the powersword, in the tabletop the powersword's thing is -ap and chainswords is volume of attacks
I think its gold throne, but yeah... very Khorneish...
"only slightly"
feels like the powersword's cleave works great in hordes
Powersword. Ideally with cleave perk
huh i was just testing in the meat grinder and was wondering what happened
Powersword already has infinite cleave with special.
Blood for the emperor, Skulls for the golden throne.
Motherfucker looks AND sounds like a heretic abomination sometimes. And that is while a psyker is shitting out chaos from his ears and eyes right next to her
best v/o line forsure
Slaughterer is probably the most goated one for powersword tho
shit's literally insane with it
Give me that please
Pray to RNGesus for good mastercraft roll
i'm wondering how much the rating on that matters. i've got a similar one with way higher rating
@tough cove that's the one I've been using and liking a lot
If you have slaughterer rating hardly matters
65% power increase by just cleaving poxwalkers is great
rating = how full bars below can be
Also extremely powerful too
hoping to get rampage when I upgrade
I mean poxwalkers still bully powersword users if they are alone
Ragers get owned with rampage + melee damage to elites, since ragers are always with the horde so rampage procs
I feel like brutal momentum is useless on powersword cause it already has infinite cleave
^
eventually it won't though
Only relevnt for non powered up attacks
I had a pox walker about to completely wreck me this morning and I instinctively did the block+push back to avoid all damage without ever having tried it before, felt like a Matrix moment. I rarely ever use block in this game, always dodge
Idk they may not get rid of the infinite cleave and decide to buff other stuff
hopefully
make chainsword great again
Nerfing stuff in a pve game seems really dumb
So I've been playing with the psyker and I bought a high damage soul fire staff but it seemed to do very little damage. When using the prolonged fire spray special it seems to only applies one stack of soul fire anyone have the same issues or just me?
It's not. Making things too easy really hurts player retention like...a lot lol.
because no temp health and no block angle definitely get used to using block
Also worth noting is that powersword push is like non-existant. So it at least has one flaw.
I'de happily take a powersword nerf if they get rid of melee chip
Just put a cool down on special activation for the power sword.
Of the recon models is that the fastest firing or slowest firing one? I'm not too familar with them, I gave one of them a try and it was too fast for me.
I prefer to use the stubby kantrael, which is semi but has good rpm when needed.
idk I got my baby and it's all I know
Idk as I said before, powersword is strong but on malice+ you ain't gonna solo carry the entire game with it
The one I got also only had like 700 ammo capacity, while my kantrael is at 1000, combined with the faster RPM that felt low
Heresy difficulty you get overwhelmed really fast.
toughness not a melee shield and shouldn't be, that's what block is, people are so tilted over this but i dont get it
in cbt it was
I havent seen a single moment in damnation when a different melee weapon would have been way better than a power sword. it deals great damage even to single targets
This, people need to learn to block and dodge.
high level zealot with no chip would be immortal
Idk if you've seen the clips of poxwalkers with magnet feet but dodging is a lil BS at times.
Sometimes poxwalkers just stay glued to you even if you dodge
Oh yes, but if you hear a poxburster coming, if you have any survival instincts, you create distance between that and the audio cue and take him out before he's in range, if you feel the need to dodge you're too alte already
Not bursters, the walkers
Oh sorry I misread, that happens with backwards dodging, sideways dodging is more reliable
block lets you block 360 degrees now use it don't rely on toughness for anything except reduction, not a shield, dodge nerf sucks but so far i haven't had a huge problem
i did not know block was 360... TIL, thats important
Meanwhile zealots got dodge buff, it's like handmaiden from VT2, absolutely perfect.
Really hoping plasmagun gets a buff
Which is sadly what allows ogryns to just plop shield down and be invulnerable to anything but dogs, chargers and flame
Visually amazing weapon, performs horribly
zealot is great for sure, didn't play much handmaiden more of an ironbreaker enjoyer in VT2 but zealot is my only 30 so far. great jack of all trades
better or worse?
I see, I compare ogryn to ironbreaker, zealot to handmaiden
I think that pox attack corruption is enough chip damage to be a threat, zealot is a copied idea from vt2, where temp hp was a thing, I understand how toughness works now, the higher the toughness you have when you get hit, the lower the damage to your health, but on 4/5 you can't play hybrid combat it turns into a ranged game, add that ontop of the fact that when you are in melee, you are gonna get chipped for like 10 damage a hit while at full toughness, not to mention ranged hit staggers charge, it's painful
ogryn is definitely the ironbreaker comparison. i just can't compare handmaiden because i hardly played her, wasn't really interested in kerillian melee until SoT tbh
i go evis/bolter in heresy as a zealot and 50/50 melee ranged.
Glaive on waystalker and spear on handmaiden was the way to go, but I was also a ironbreaker whom prefered axe and shield of anything else.
haven't had a problem with melee in heresy, no clue about difficulty 5 not bothering until i have a full group
sometimes i even go chain axe on heresy (ooo not meta), and still melee effectively
anyone got peoples experiences with surge staff builds? Gonna be level 30 soon
better
leveling up waystalker was my first and loved the glaive, just loved ironbreaker 2h hammer more
Does heresy just have endless horde on by default? It always seems to be on even when the mission doesn’t brief it.
I found the chain axe surprisingly effective, yesit doesn't have cleave, but it attacks so fast, it's like a middle ground between combat axe and assault chain, sacrificing cleave for more attack speed and more damage while having good range.
Still prefer chain sword though, more versatile, I often can't decide if I whana bring combat axe or chain sword
yes. its light spam is incredibly effective, even against hordes. its heavys are just useless, so you have to be good in melee without stagger aside from block push
how often is sire melks shop supposed to reset? for me its every day but i see some people saying it resets every hour?
Yea I don't bother with the heavies, I either light spam or rev attack, with chain axe at least
Sir melk is 24hr. The armory thing is every hour
is the crit chance on boltgun bugged? I'm barely getting any crits on my bolter, despite having multiple +crit chance modifiers
whats better for Ogryn, Payback Time or Raging Bull?
think its broken atm
Tasty
People that say that are trolls or don't know the difference between the shops
evis is all about the heavys and staggers are just a lot more forgiving so i think people are calling it "meta" just because its easier to use
Time to farm mats in malice
ive found it resets every time i level up so i imagine when you’re level 30 its 24hr
Ive touched on this before, but chip damage is an implementation of lazy difficulty. I'de much rather have mutants yeet me over the side intentionally, trappers be able to pull you away like a jockey from lfd2, have scab AI lay down suppressive fire but all of those things are harder to code and design around than chip damage, I think that it's insane that zealot has a 90s cd ability that gives them immorality for 5 seconds that is only moderately useful with a later talent, it felt so much better in the cbt.
I find evis "okay", I rather go full versatile with assault chain sword, or I go 2hd hammer for perma knockdown entire horde solo and charge attack + stagger elites
that makes more sense. i didnt visit him very often when leveling to notice that.
so my game was laggy af today so i verifed files cuz i didnt have problems before now i cant launch the game and it says this. Any ideas?
reinstall probably
i like it, but chain axe is just too sexy and close to my tastes. right now im still just getting whatever has the higher power level rather, but definitely prefer chain axe. normal chainsword i haven't used in awhile but it's a classic. havent tried thunder hammer
guys is the disruption mission back yet?
thunder hammer is quite slow for me, its fun but i get over run fast on the endless hordes
You'll need to utilize chokepoints or wallhugging with it for best effect, a good zealot with the hammer is a valuable asset
i did find it better in chokepoints yeah
try going into this folder and running the setup
Do we know if it's intentional that every heresy threat has endless hordes on it regardless of what it says on the mission table?
chain axe and flamer are currently my go to
bugged
does that sound intentional
Yea I'm not getting better gear yet on anything, got my vet 30, then ogryn 30, zealot is now 24 and psyker is 6, leveling everything up first before min maxing 1 class.
Does it actually have endless hordes or does it just show endless hordes once you enter game?
No, but it's been like that since day 1 and fs hasn't said anything about it
it definitely feels like endless hordes
I'm pretty sure it is on endless hordes, it pays out for it atleast iirc
I guess not all mission types are currently available?
Any tips on completing the higher level preacher penances? Shocking seems to be bugged, what's the best weapon for full heal, and what mission type is best for the speedrun?
I feel like the hammer's charged attack (not heavy attack) should hit harder though, right now I often feel liek the evis does it better, no knowndown, just stagger, but it also does insane damage and rev attacks elites for same/more damage.
yeah the evis can melt most things with the special attack but the hammer just isnt at the same level
Do Crushers count as unyielding? What about Monstrosities as well?
Hammer special needs to hit vertically, right now horizontal strikes is hard to use when it only hits 1 dude
i guess not all mission types are currently available so i cant get the helmet for veteran?
Correct
Thank you sir
anyone have a fix for the mouse on screen bug? i've tried cycling through video screen modes, alt tab, alt enter, opening in game chat and closing it... nothing works
hammer special light hits vertical, still high damage but safer and easier to aim
It hits vertically if you light attack, but that's the thing, having to power and charge it makes it very... intensive, when you could've probably revved teh targeted twice in that time with evis and killed it.

Just one example
i just type a period in the chat and the it fixes it
I never got it in the cbt but I heard that the hammer was better then
i wish that worked 😦 i've had this since starting the game
mission environment changes daily. There's a timer on the mission screen now for each refresh
Is there a guide out there that has pictures of each enemy type? I'm new to the lore/don't know the difference between the enemies and weapons that'll do better against which ones
you don't even need to actually type anything, just enter and enter again (close and open chat)
wow, bot removed my further explanation
kek
The training mode has all enemy types available. You need a certain level for them to all show up though
i wonder if i need to uninstall and reinstall to maybe fix it
no just enter and enter again 😛
Also is there a section of this server that allows for people to link up for voice chat depending on which contracts they both need to complete?
it happens to everyone on occasion
doesnt work for me. i've tried everything i've seen that is supposed to fix the bug
lfg channels
Is this worth buying?
Did you try alt enter and alt enter again? full screen to not fullscreen and back?
yes
yes 😦
It is mine. Omnissiah be praised.
RIP that's how most my friends get the issue, by alt tabbing
Regular shop yes melks fun bucks no
it's melks oof
How many helmets are available for purchase at Level 30?
3 iirc
try pressing middle mouse on chrome and then alt tab to the game
It is. But I only use eviscerator, and it's like 100 over my current one
Planning on pushing it up to legendary
and how do you create a voice channel/invite?
I'd say none, just the one you can already earn through challenges, but reskinned
(flashbacks to weapons glows being "new" by just being a different color)
didnt work. i feel like im cursed lol
just join one of the channels that are already there
an empty one
First time since launch Melk had anything good lol
That's even "worse" you can do that but it'll be pretty grindy and when ur max level you can buy a 470 evis and just buy a good one in regular shop til then
do the shop items depend on anything other than your level? apart from my gun i'm stuck with mostly dogshit
Fair enough. I'm only level 23
Grand scheme it doesn't matter but it would feel like a waste to me
Do we know if there are red items?
personally i felt like once I reached higher lvls better stuff came out
i'm 30...
I did have an awkward period where I was like you stuck w/ crap
orange is VT2's red in darktide afaik
We're already getting them? dang son
In the game currently, no
When you hit 30 buy the highest level item and equip it, iirc the shop trys to stock you with higher level stuff based on your highest level item
Is orange master crafted? Because I think that's just the orange equivalent from vt
If someone tries bringing an orange to the upgrade station, what happens?
yeah orange is master craft
Highest you can upgrade
any point in buying items with lower rating than what you already have?
White > green > blue > orange > red
White > green > blue > purple > orange
Same amount of tiers, doubt they'd add another, what will you get, a third blessing?
If you like the mods on it
^
Hey orgrin. there is a desire to try to make a bowling initiation?
all max rolls, ideally. like in vt.
What are groaners?
Simpyl having a third blessings would make weapons absolutely OP though, you'd need a 6th difficulty.
I feel like having max property stats and weapons stats would also be similarly OP.
could be, yes. which is why it's kinda unlikely we'll see it. but not that bad.
is there a perk that makes the power sword special last longer?
What is +% Power actually influence?
According to some people it is a mixture of damage, stagger and cleave
Afaik the power rating of the weapon, aka the baseline stats, so instead of just damage, it improves everything about the weapon by that percentage
game just sais unable to perform that action several times then just crashes <.<
ever since getting high level with zeolot the game is hard now
anyone know what the item lvl cap is yet
@left trellis if you're interested how the power rating + stats etc all work with each other, I suggest watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QlBkFN9RRw it explains what each one does and how they interact with each other.
Half an hour watch, but worth it.
It's datamined as well, so not just assumptions
Anyone know what exactly "mobility" affects?
is there a non-video version?
The distance covered with the dodge
also reflect in that video, but things like dodge range, how fast your dodge slows down, how many times you can use it before slowing down, sprint speed, sprint accelaration
Could someone explain to me please , where I can see what "mission type" i'm still lacking for the achievement?
Not at the moment, but they are working on a tool, just add it to your to watch list and watch it during dinner or something lol
which level 5 should i run on zealot
Bars with the same name can modify different things on different weapons
Unpopular opinion maybe: Anyone under level 15 playing malice is wasting the other player's time.
I like the regen when in melee range
Thunder hammer upgrading still broken?
Blame fatshark for allowing lvl 6 on malice and lvl 12s to join heresy
I don't even know how they picked those numbers, it's no curio slots nor talent points
They should raise the min level for malice runs. I think too many people see it as 3/5 and go "oh it's normal difficulty" when the game doesn't really work like that
Is there actually any ingame "guide" on the difficulty levels?
Other than going to 3 bar difficulty mission and getting absolutely fucked with starting gear? 😄
I like it when a lvl 8 zealot tries to tell me to medkit him when he's cursed but he doesn't know what a curse is, when I'm lvl 2x lvl 30, lvl 24 and lvl 6 with 85 hours in the game.
I think sticking to 2s until level 15 is a safe bet
Either way they just need to increase level requirements, uprising shouldn't even be done with a lvl 1 imho, get to lvl 5 first, which is done in like 2 hours.
The power rating system in VT2 was good
Has anyone done "adhor the mutant" on sedition level, been trying for nights?
I'm so confused I've been playing non stop every day every mission type since Darktide came out, but I only have 6/7 mission types completed can someone shed some light?
Do the secondary missions count or something?
Disruption
They don't, but not all missions types are currently in the game
It hasn’t been in the game since beta day 1
are there more crafting materials phyiscally lying around to find on higher difficulties? or is there some multiplier applied after the mission DRG-style
That’s what you’re missing
It seems to increase the stacks but I’m not sure.
Not more caches, but bigger caches
Is there any benefit to "eating" the grimmoires?
It’s how you drop them
It looked like herecy so i naturally pressed mouse1.
In case you don’t want to deal with the corruption.
Like when the other holder dies and it's no longer worth carrying the second either
oh ok why do so many people have helmets on their class then?
if all the missions are not available
really? damn i only need that mission 😭
It still gives you stuff for partial completion
the first day the 2 missing ones were available.
Yeah sadly we haven’t gotten one since day 1
some people were able to either complete them both on malice or lower and have the ability to get both tier 1 and tier 2 helms.
not like VT2, where it's on a per book basis, as here you won't complete the secondary anymore, and the book on it's own is only worth 65 xp iirc.
ah shit I think I only missed the 17th that explains it thank you
I just know you still get stuff for partial completion which means it’s kinda worth it at least
It’s not great but it still is a thing
whereas xp is useless after lvl 30, so it's more about completing the secondary task for money, te only reason to carry them is for weekly tasks really
always, Hopefully they rotate back in soon as I beleive one of them is bugged. No news on the formal update twitter as to any fixes related to that specifically.
best weapons for attempting "heal to full with holy revenant on heresy or higher?"
I don't understand why people pickup grims in malice and then cause the whole team to wipe as we very quickly are playing on no wounds and like 40 health. If these people want a challenge, why not just play damnation instead
anyone else getting this issue or is crafting not working yet?
Likely something that can cut through a crowd.
how much damage do bleedstacks do, like are they worth it for ogryn before level 20 gives you damage resist?
Team can barely hang on, people keep going down, same people: "Guys let's take both grims right?"
Isn't the weekly challenge for grims just to pick them up? If you purge them it counts right?
It's always the level 30 people who don't even need the xp too lol. Like if you want more money so bad, go play on heresy, some of us are just trying to level here.
I seriously need one more mission to complete Van. Point. I know what it is but its the one mission that Isn't listed on the terminal and hasn't been since like the 17th
You could also just reroll that challenge, idk why people keep that one around
I reroll grims and scripts on sight.
Not a lot, but sometimes enough to kill things by bleed instead of needing to smack them another time
Does the stats actually increase or not?
I find it more profitable to do scripture runs on malice and actually complete the mission, than potentially win on heresy or damnation
I also only bother with the latter 2 if I have people with me who I know are competent
Its broken only for warhammers lol
I just don't see a reason to ever pick up the grim unless you're on damnation. If you want the game to be harder, play a higher difficulty. You don't even get a guaranteed emperor's gift at the end for the trouble of doing 2 grims
how do you access that do you have to be level 30?+
Oh I know, grims are the most worthless piece of content in the game.
At least in VT2 you'd get a better box AND you'd get a commendation box for leveling after max level
tripple bar Endless's are Kinda a Pain
The crafting table becomes available at lvl 4 I believe
Where is that located
im not sure what level it unlocks, but they introduced it yesterday so you might just not have checked there yet
when you spawn, turn right, past melks
does anyone know if it actually improves the stats or not tho?
Green or Blue one guys which is better? Damage and Pen or Crowd Control?
A bolter with the 25% ranged feat, whittle down your health with enemy ranged attacks wait for you toughness to regen to full when low health, then get ready near a horde, get their melee bleed though on your shield to get you to 0 without taking corruption, then hipfire the bolter in to them to max damage, dodge out of the way/in cover any damage you take during the 5s is taken from total healing amount, any damage you take after the 5s while its regening stops the healing - any corruption taking you below 200 health stop the penance being possible.
This is an insanely great and clear video. Anyone and everyone in here should take the time to watch this as its opened a lot of doors for my playstyle and further understanding what the breakdown is.
seriously? lol, that's typical xD
lol, yep, just consecrated a flamer xD
I know right, I was very happily surprised, made me realize why I like some items so much more than others and made me value things like defense and finesse.
is a 15 round mag bolter enough? @timber steppe
yup did it yesterday
do it on lvl 4 difficulty
So where do we find out what the hell everything does? lol
like what is bleed and how long does it last,e tc
can the sharpshooter vatnge point be completed yet?
Im struggling with 100% accuracy penance. almost did it solo que but damn its impossible without cheese
I think i heard if you die and then are rescued during the mission you lose half your ammo making it easier
oh hi @topaz condor
revolver has to be only way right, melee only pretty much until confirmed shots
Play with friends, don't shoot entire game (or make sure you hit), then dump entire revolver into bulwarks shield towards end, then just make the last few shots that you regained by killing elites/specials count by dumping them into trash 1 by 1 before getting into the evac bird
You don't need to damage or penetrate, just hit
but with this endless hordes bug i think im gonna have to wait
ah good to know ty
So I'm sure this has been asked before but I haven't seena disruption mission yet... what gives?
So what's the verdict on the chainaxe vs eviscerator?
haven't touched the former yet
It was in the first day, but got pulled due to a bug.
There's also a another cheese if true; for shotguns only 1 pellet needs to hit.
However I don't know if that's true, as I don't even know if there's a pellet system in Darktide
None in rotation yet, will be on release (or maybe before)
Gotcha thanks for the answers!
I shall look into this, interesting
advice on how to get long bomb for vbet?
aim about 2 bodies above a horde and throw it instantly dont hold right click
*left click
Use quick throw, practice in meat grinder at about a 45° angle
Whats your guys thoughts on 4th Vet trait? I have standing still right now dont know how effective it is though
It's fucking amazing at higher difficulties
It is quite effective, worth it if you stand still reguarly.
You get so much time to click heads of shooters that are all but ignoring you
are currencies shared across characters?
Guys can "Adhor the Mutant" be achieved on difficulty 1 and 2?
yeah with how brutal the suppression effect is, you kind of need it to do your job
No.
now i'm happy :3
I planned to use the 75% ranged resist talent, combined with my kantrael that has suppression immunity blessing, but apparently the 75% damage resist feat doesn't work and I haven't revisited veteran since I hit 30 on it
As someone who just started psyker, what does each staff do?
I know there's the explosion one, flame one, lightnign one and big bolt one, but which one is which
Trauma creates an exploding ring on the ground, void strike shoots enemy piercing explosive balls, purgatis is flamethrower, surge is palpatine lightning staff
Trauma - Explosion, Void - Big Bolt, Surge - Lightning, Purgatus Flame (i believe)
Ah so it's Surge and void I want, thanks guys
Void is really addictive. When it slams into a horde, my goodness.
Void creates a missile like projectile that explodes a certain distance based on how much you charge it, and penetrates to that distance.
I like Surge but then I prefer crowd control to support team 🙂
Ye so you can get even the white one now and slowly lvl it up with forge
