#sage barista express leak

Have you checked to make sure it’s not coming from the drip tray? Opv and other exhausts go into the drip tray
dosnt seem like it comes from there. I made sure it was empty and put it in as far as it goes. Not sure what else to do to make sure of that
From what I remember; the opv and steam wand dump into the drip try by default.
And if the outlet isn’t perfectly lined up or something else is off then it can leak
Otherwise you’ll have to open it potentially
dosnt feel like i can put it in any different than what im doing. I was gonna open it. But every single screwdriver in the house is too big to get into the holes under the tamp holder and besides the steamwand
This has directions for opening an infuser so might have some helpful tips
Infuser is just a Barista Express w/o a grinder
these holes are too small for my screwdriver. Ill have to figure out how to get them out. Though im not sure how to troubleshoot it when i get it open
First thing would be to check if there is any moisture
i think i found some good news. I placed a bowl instead of the normal drip tray making sure it would catch everything. Suddenly i got no water on the table. So it seems the drip try might just not get it all
Sound right; if the drip tray has a lid; maybe take it off and any storage things to see if you can catch all the drips that eta
Way*
Can probably use a blind basket to trigger the opv
yup taking the lid of the drip tray i still get no leakage. So its a bit wierd the lid makes the difference
