I recently got a bottomless unpressurized portafilter and having trouble dialing in espresso. I’m using a Delonghi ECP3630 and a Timemore C2 @ 14 clicks which is pretty coarse for espresso as you can see.
My does is 18g and 40g out. However each time I pull a shot it takes like a minute.
Should I try reducing dose or maybe there’s something wrong with my pump?

What is the debit of your machine without portafilter ?
Easiest to just flush into a cup for 30s / 60s and see how much got out

i got 44 grams of water within 30 seconds

Yeah that’s not enough. I think 6 is a normal value. Higher is common too.
I’d first descale the machine thoroughly, with a high quality descaler solution. (I recommend Calcinet, not affiliated 
)
Then if that doesn’t fix it, see if there’s other obstructions or the pump is dead.
