the one reason i can think of that it's like this is that the effects aren't removed when you respec out of the skill
Tbh there should be checks when you take points out of something like "If you still have x effect and you don't have x skill, then remove effect"
I think I was told exactly this cause I've asked the same thing lol
They ideally would be though, I'm sure that was the vision
wait effects are already associated with a spell id in mns code
or just full cleanse of all effects when refunding the last point out of any skill. You will not be doing that in combat anyway.
Having to recast an aura or 2 when switching around build doesnt matter anyway, and this way you can still level up skill mid combat
related, I wish stance was two skills, cause man double casting that does get old lol
I think the QOL of these buffs being passive even would be amazing. Like for a brawler for example, when would you not want fury up? Waht about Safeguard fora c rusader?
Them needing to be recast is jsut kinda tedium
I get the vision with them being skills and would honestly prefer them remain skills
they would be a lot less tedious as toggles though, definitely agree

buffs/auras arent, you cast them then theyre active for like 6-10 minutes depending on which one
