I've been using Kali on a daily basis for years now, it's installed bare metal on my laptop. I can summerize it in one sentence for you. "Debian but with compatibility issues"

It's nice for beginners since it comes with useful tools for beginner hackers but after you get comfortable and experienced enough with Linux as your daily use Kali becomes a burden

If I wasn't so damn lazy I would have replaced it with either regular Debian or NixOS or something
