yeah same, I used to practice out of this book but have recently just been working with emotionally evocative meditation to re-pattern my brain to be more conducive to success in material reality so I can move out of my mom's place and cut off some relationships

ive kinda derived off of its principles a bit because liber null preaches a pretty firm and concrete version of chaos magick

i like to use sigils to assist me in my short term goals

for example recent one was about getting a job

eventually i wanna start expanding the use into more elaborate/abstract things like fortune on myself and others or for directing events in my life into one specific direction

I feel like the way to do that is just by locating the emotional/energetic tone of the desired outcome & then pairing that specific tone with a larger, more torrential energy then embedding all of that together within that sigil. In my experience, I find that the result I get is always dependent upon what I put into the sigil so sometimes I don't get the thing I asked for in it's entirety, I just get a shift in my life that brings me much closer to that thing or something clears up that makes said thing more attainable. I think that absolute, synchronistic fruition comes when you go overkill when charging the sigil and anything less just sets a sequence of events into motion

even in this day and age in this lifetime I have ancestral roots to slavery. In my family there are living memories of picking cotton

that's a heavy karmic current, i'd imagine it has every reason to do with my incarnation in the U.S. Based on experiences and reflections in altered states of consciousness + meetings with trusted mediums I have reason to believe that i'm deeply entrenched in the karma of the United states of america in particular

even on a physical, genetic level, I am 50/50 composite of African American and white colonist

something that just kinda clicked for me is that whenever you're 'working with energies', these energies have chemical signatures and are experienced as emotions in the body. They aren't just abstract things outside yourself. Furthermore, if you want to gauge the effectiveness of a ritual or magical act, look no further than the level of emotional intensity you are experiencing while you are doing it bc intense emotions provide a gateway into altered states of perception from which you can draw insight and have tangible effect of your own internal conditions therefore affecting everything outside of you that you are tied to or is subject to your perception

To me things get good whenever your body starts moving and gesturing on it's own because the emotion experienced is too intense to simply remain still. There's something so rapturous about not being able to control your body even if you wanted to
