Hi! Im testing directus and I dont know if its because of my VPS (2vcpu, 4gb ram) but any changes I make take some time (even minutes) to apply. Why is that?

For example I created a new item there (title was AAAAAAAAA) and it says item created but its not created apparently

Now I get this when opening the one new you can see there.. I dont know how this works to be honest

If I dismiss I can still "change" stuff but nothing happens...

look like something is broken .. the hardware should not be a bottleneck at all. What setup are you using? is it a fresh installation or did you modify anything?

sounds too simple, but yeah, cache could also be a thing. maybe a restart of the app could help as well (if not done already)

i have seen cases like this with people, after disabling cache, things worked smoothly

as longer as I think of it, it feels familiar to me and an issue I had with cache 😄 definitely worth a try

for me i had to configure some caching options, after that it worked like it was suppost to, but i feel like it should work correct out of the box

What do you mean by setup? If Im not mistaken its just Nginx on top of those 2vcpu and 4gb ram

did you use docker, or the manual setup? what does the nginx infront of the app? afaik ngnix can also cache some data if configured this way. but usally the docker compose file comes with a redis cache container

So, my hosting provider provides (😬) a way to install Directus with a simple click

I can tell you that it has nginx but I did not saw if it had docker

😄 so you pay for the hosting, so the provider should assist in here as we neither know NOR can change the setup anyway. But pretty sure it is a related to the hosting type

Yep! Im sending a support ticket as we speak to check what the problem is, they might be aware and know about it
