#The inserted attachment is opened through the default application

This is an xlsx file copied in. If you click on it, it will redirect to a download file. But if I want to edit it every time, I need to download it each time and manually delete the previous one to copy in the new one, which will be very troublesome

I found that these attachments had already been saved to the local assets folder when copied into logseq. Since they are already in the local folder, can we directly open them through the default application after clicking, and then save them in place after editing?

In this way, there is no need for cumbersome downloading, editing, deleting the previous ones and then re-importing

I assume this is the web app version on test.logseq.com? This shouldn't be an issue when using the desktop app, once it is released.

It's not the web version. It's the Build-Desktop-Release downloaded via github

I see. I just tested and see the same behavior. This seems like a regression, since this was not the behavior in the MD version. They just made some changes to the way attachments are handled in the latest update, but they aren't there yet in the desktop builds (the newest one is three days old). I'd be curious to see if the problem is still there after they update this?
