#Camera glitching when in video mode iPhone 14 Pro

Hello everyone, I have a iPhone 14 Pro 128go on iOS 18.6.2 (22G100)
I would like to know if someone had the same issue has me.

Sometimes, only when I put the video mode, out of nowhere the camera sort of glitches. I don't really know if it's hardware or software issue, but my hypothesis is that the software don't know on which objective to film and both images are send at the same time. I tried restarting. The phone never had a big shock with me.

I bought the phone reconditioned but before returning it I would like to know if it's fixable and having details so I can explain to the store.

You could try updating to iOS 26.2 and see if that fixes it (especially as iOS 18 isn't even supported anymore), but these symptoms usually indicates a hardware issue of some kind and it might be more worth it to return it if you can.

Ok i guess returning the phone was inevitable and i will do it.
I heard it may be a specific sensor, do you think they replace those or they just change all camera related circuit?

I'd recommend getting a 16 series or higher iPhone instead, those are far better for longevity and futureproofing than a 14 Pro

base 15, 15 Plus, any 14 series or below is completely off the table

even a 16e is preferable to a 14 Pro
