Shall I consider an iPhone 14?

Recently, I found a solid deal on an iPhone 14, which was almost brand new, had 93% battery health, 128 GB storage, and Midnight color. I found an iPhone 13 at the same price but in slightly poor condition. Yet, do you all think I should buy the 14? As I have been using my XS for a while now, it's a fairly old phone, and the battery is depleted. It's currently at 76% battery health, and the back is damaged.

I found a lot of 15 pro deals but they are like more than double the price I'm getting the 14

and I don't think apple intelligence in a big deal for me because I have tried it, and its honestly really trash, and I prefer using third party AIs more, and the integrated AI feature is lwky useless to me

plus, I don't use phones alot, I'd be using it for calls once in a while, and hardly social media, and some light games like those puzzle ones

My uncle has a 15 pro 256 gb

and it feels and looks fantastic

but its too expensive for me to consider them as I barely use phones, I always carry them, but I don't use them as much as an average person will

I'm not addicted to scrolling, and I dont prefer typing on screens either, or I contact a lot of people through calls or texts

and I always carry my macbook air with me, because its just much easier to type on, and I can sit in cafés and resturants and work their silently

the iPhone 15 Pro is a far better deal and something like Apple Intelligence is much better than most third party AI's out there

it'll last you several years longer and is just better

Apple Intelligence is more private, more secure, integrates well with iOS and Siri, and Apple Intelligence models can be used in Shortcuts or even third party apps like Locally AI

Oohhh but like, you get the same display, you get a better camera that you'd never use, and Ig there's not as such that big of a difference in between 12 and 48 unless you zoom in, but I don't click a lot of pics personally

I mean, those are promised by apple like a year ago, and in my case, I have tried it in my macbook air m3, ever since they were in developer beta, and I have never actually used them like I would use ChatGPT, because sometimes I just need a chatbot instead of some writing tool, or a speaking assistant?

as per for shortcuts, I have never ever used them in my life, cuz i never had a reason to them even on my macbook 😅

Apple has delivered more than what they announced a year ago so it's safe to say Apple Intelligence is quite good

andd I have a question, as they said it runs completed on your device for privacy, but most of the Apple Intelligence commands and prompts required me to use ChatGPT integrated in Apple Intelligence, so doesn't Apple need to share it with chatgpt anyway while you use them?

The iPhone 14 is reusing the same A15 chip used in the 13 Pro from the year before which made the 14 not so great of a deal even when it was new, and it's a really bad deal now. The iPhone 14 has like 3-4 years of OS updates left but the 16e has 6-8 years left of OS updates, plus the 16e has the action button, a better battery, better camera that you'll end up loving, Apple Intelligence, USB-C, and many more

You're better off spending the extra on a 16e, you can even find some good deals on 16e's for like $500 now

I don't even use ChatGPT at all and there's no point in it tbh. Apple's own models are already very good and is still infinitely more private than GPT.
