Hello i have a macbook pro 2020 m1 with macos 26. I love retro stuff and i still burning DVD-S I have a asus DVD writer which says mac compatible and a asus bd writer aswell thats compatible to but can I write DVD on macos 26?
When I tried erase dvd- and +rw dont let me disk utility dont show this option. I tried with app called burn and I right clicked on desktop and erase but after this still data on it I need reformat on windows.
How can I burn DVD and erase the RW?

Open a terminal window.
At the shell prompt, type drutil list
The output should list the attached drives.
drutil erase followed by either quick or full, e.g., drutil erase quick. If there is more than one driver, you many need to add the -drive parameter, e.g., drutil -drive 1 erase full
