If you’re talking about the notification then here’s an idea
When Gmail or any Google app prompts for that, go into the Gmail app on another device and just wait. The prompt is one way to do it, but Gmail will also make it pop up after a bit of waiting in my experience.

I have a MacBook but not the app on it. I normally just access Gmail through web, but wouldn’t it be the same process? I’ll sign in and it’ll ask for a response to the prompt?

I go on a laptop, I put in my password, then it’ll say it sent me a prompt to my phone which I’m not getting, so using another device didn’t work either
Cuz I need to respond to that prompt to sign in

So I click the Gmail app, it says “add account”
I click google
It says “Gmail wants to use your pw to sign in”

can you just go over what the prompt was saying exactly it was asking you to verify using one of you rother devices whether you're the holder of the account
i mean
as long as you wiped the other device, you should be good
if you kept it logged into your gmail while handing it to someone else then there's your issue

I clicked transfer and reset iPhone then erase all content and settings
I wish j could show you the prompt but I can’t get to it right now due to too many attempts
The option to send a txt to my phone number is darkened out
I can only select yes on a prompt
I’ll show you the prompt when I’m able to try again

Yes thank you. I went on my MacBook and somehow I was already signed into my Gmail so I was able to access it through there. Took off 2 factor verification and signed into my Gmail afterwards on my iPhone
