iPhone Notifications apps not showing on Mac after updating to iOS 26 + macOS Sequoia 15.7

After updating my iPhone to iOS 26 and my Mac to macOS Sequoia (15.7), I no longer get iPhone notifications mirrored on my Mac. Texts, calls, and app alerts that used to show up through “iPhone Notifications” just don’t appear anymore, even though the option is still in Settings. I even tried upgrading the Mac to macOS 26, then downgrading back to 15.7 and setting it up as new (not migrated), but it still doesn’t work. Does anybody have any fixes or workarounds?

Did notifications work while on macOS 26?

Also I’d recommend updating anyways for possible security patches

They did, but I had to erase my MacBook.

I did, I just downgraded just to see if it would fix it.

They work perfectly fine on my MacBook Air, but not my MacBook Pro.

You’re signed in to the same Apple account and stuff I assume?

Yeah.

I got around it by making a new user

But that doesn’t work anymore

I'm not sure if it's a iOS 26 issue or MacOS

And you have iPhone notifications turned on on your mbp?

I do, it shows no apps.

But again, my macbook air works perfectly fine

I think I figured somethings out

I deleted discord on my phone, reinstalled it, and then it showed up

Deleting/reinstalling some of my apps seem to work, I just don’t want to have to reinstall literally every app though

I just looked, now I have a bunch, without even reinstalling any more apps.

Try disabling notifications from iphone and then reenable it.
If this doesn't work, you can try removing your Mac's connection to the phone. You can do this by opening Settings > General > AirPlay & Continuity > iPhone Mirroring. Then remove the Mac and re-pair

I did, updating / deleteing and reinstalling apps helped me

I saw that some people were able to fix this by signing out from icloud on mac and iphone, rebooting, and signing back in to icloud on both devices
