Touch ID MacBook Pro

Password required to enable Touch ID. I’ve been to the toilet for 5 minutes. Is there a way to change this so it doesn’t require the password after just 5 minutes? MacBook Pro

that would be in the Lock Screen settings on your macbook

Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off

This just makes it so I don’t need to put a password in or use the Touch ID. My issue is that I want my laptop to lock but so that I can use Touch ID to unlock instead of having to type in the password every time

Can you share what your settings are on for lock screen?

Ill have a look when im back home. It would be whatever the default setting is I never changed it since buying the laptop
