#Shoot Raw photos directly onto SSD?

I don't see why not... Unless there's some weird gootcha somewhere, it should just allow it, just like your videos.
i can't find a setting for it in the camera section
and googling it was inconclusive
Huh... how many photos do you plan on taking?
not much but it'd be nice to have on an SSD so I can directly edit them on my Mac
i also sadly went for the 128gb option
Well... I can think of 2 options, either use a third-party camera app that allows you to specify a place to store after shooting, or if its the standard camera app, you can go into the photos app, find your recently taken photos, and share themou
What you do is click the photo which opens it up, press the share button at the bottom I belichre (last time I checked) and select all the ones you want.
You should be able to scroll down in the share menu and choose save to files, which should let you put them on the SSD.
I could do that but it is tbh a bit tedious.
I couldn't find any 3rd party apps so far
I agree, especially the secondoption, Apple should just allow raw photos be saved the same way as pro log videos, it makes no sence
From what I researched, you can not.
even with an external app?
Yeah.
It seems 3rd Party apps can only record onto a SSD
wait what?
Which is kind of silly.
Record, not capture photos. BlackMagic Camera is one of them
oh yeah recording for ssd
