You can use iMessage with a throwaway email and still keep your real phone number, Apple ID, and personal info private. Just make a new Apple ID with a burner email, then sign into iMessage with that instead of your main one. Go into Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, and make sure only the email is selected—uncheck your phone number. Don’t turn on iCloud, FaceTime, or any extra services if you wanna stay low-key. As for iOS 26 public beta, all your apps, files, and data carry over to the final version once it’s released. Just make sure to back everything up before updating, in case something breaks.

I think you can add a secondary email to an Apple ID
Ya idk much about iMessage lol
nuanced situations suck
you dont need to make an apple id, you can also use gmail
or outlook
i do that when texting internationally
so wait let me try to understand this sorry.
you want to use imessage with a new email?
if yes, then set up the email and disable everything else for send and receive
if im getting this wrong could you explain what you're trying to exactly
yep, it will only show the burner email when you turn send and receive for that. you can add 2 emails but you will have to select which account you want to start the messages with
great thank you
