#Any reason why 15gb is used for an iPad Air 5

iOS manages storage automatically, so it’ll clear up system data as you use more storage
the iPad is also using the 26 beta so it may use a bit more system data storage
but if you’re consistently struggling with storage (which is way too easy for 64GB), you should consider getting a new iPad with more storage
which sucks because Apple was selling 64GB iPads as late as 2025, atp it’s the new 32GB
Add Apple Intelligence and you’ll be full in almost no time
Lol im only using my ipad for notes taking, drawing, and well that basically it. 😂
I guess i will do a trade in on it and upgrade to the ipad with 128gb
yeah, but if you’re struggling to keep at least 10-15 GB free space, you should probably reset the iPad
will the apple pencil 2nd gen work on the newer iPad Air?
good idea because 64GB in 2025 is awful unless you barely do anything on your iPad
no, you have to get the Apple Pencil Pro if you want to use it on the newer iPad Airs (M2 and M3)
Mostly drawing, Taking notes and that's it.
ofc.
i figured.
yeah if you store stuff locally you could always sync with iCloud and that could free a little more space
they dont to trade in apple pencil.
or like any other website or stores that does it.
you might just want to sell the Apple Pencil 2 and get the Pencil Pro when you get the new iPad Air
the iPad Air 5, iPad Pro M2 (2022), and the iPad mini 6th generation are the last models to support the Pencil 2. So if you’re thinking about getting a newer model, you will need a new pencil as well
at the bottom of this page you can also select what Apple Pencils are compatible with your iPad https://www.apple.com/ca/apple-pencil/
im looking at it rn, thx☺️
the Air 5 is compatible with Apple Pencil 2 but not Pro. The iPad Air (M2 and M30 is compatible with Pencil Pro but not the 2nd gen
ill just restart it.
Or you could get the iPad Pro M2 and use a Apple Pencil USB C
