#iPhone Notifications not working on 2019 Macbook Pro

Also Intel Macs are a bit known for being less reliable with continuity compared to Apple silicon
I don’t have a solution, I’m just putting in my 2 cents lol
As far as I know, continuity with iPhones on Intel Macs is extremely unreliable
Thank you
Good to know thank you
I’m having an issue with iPhone notifications not showing on my 2019 16‑inch Intel MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.5. I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro on iOS 18.5, signed into the same Apple ID, on the same Wi-Fi network, with Bluetooth turned on for both devices. On my M1 MacBook Air, everything works fine. iPhone notifications show up in Notification Center and banners display properly. On this Intel MacBook Pro, nothing shows up at all. There are no entries in Notification Center and no banners. iPhone Mirroring works perfectly so the connection between the devices clearly works. On the Mac, “From iPhone” is turned on in Notification settings, Handoff is on, Focus is off, and both devices appear under Apple devices in my account. I have already rebooted both devices, signed out and back into iCloud on the Mac, reset network settings on the iPhone, removed Continuity-related Keychain items, toggled the “From iPhone” setting, and checked that Focus is not blocking anything. Even after all of that, notifications still do not appear on this Mac, while my M1 Mac works with the same setup. Is this a limitation or bug with Intel Macs running Sequoia, or is there some setting, certificate, or process I need to reset to fix this? Any help would be appreciated. I am happy to share logs or screenshots if needed.
Apple focused so much on Apple Silicon with these features and didn’t care enough about the T2 chips (intel Mac chip used for continuity and other things)
Did you know they even supported an Intel Mac in sequoia that didn’t even have a T2 chip?
It couldn’t use iPhone mirroring, even tho it was supported by sequoia
Oh wow
I know i can use iPhone mirroring on my 2019 MBP, but clearly not notifications
Should I try and report the bug to apple?
Sure
